I normally do not write reviews but this one is essential. The stress of renovations/construction was one of the main reasons we waited years to re-do our first floor. We heard horror stories about time delays and unexpected costs and just didn’t want the headaches. In hindsight it was a very bad decision… we lost years not being able to enjoy what Ted and his team created. Let me be clear… I can confidently say this would be a much different review if we chose someone else. Ted from our first meeting was no nonsense and completely upfront. His recommendation's from architects to subcontractors were perfect. He was present during every step of our renovation which was not a massive but also not a small project. The estimates and time frame he gave us were literally spot on. Ted’s expertise was beyond helpful changing our house into something very special. We highly recommend Ted and we would never use another contractor in any capacity. Even a year after the job was finished Ted came back and his team fixed some taping that wasn’t even really part of the project. When I say flawless, I mean flawless customer service. Ted and his team at Vision renovated our entire house and added an addition. They went above and beyond expectations with every detail, and the subcontractors they recommended were amazing. Somehow they completed a project that would have taken a year, in a 4 month time span and everything was flawless. The quality of work is top notch, and his employees and subcontractors are friendly, professional, trustworthy, and very skilled. Furthermore, the customer service is incredible- if something needs to be adjusted, repaired or replaced, they will come back and take care of it, even if it’s a year later. This was the second home project we used Vision for, and I would not work with anyone else. Ted, the owner, is always on site and manages your project as if it’s his own house. I honestly can’t say I know of anyone who has had a good contractor/project experience- but speaking for myself and anyone I know who has used Vision Construction, they make everything easy and you never have to worry about one thing. We put our family home on the market for sale when inspection unveiled that an outside extension to the kitchen was poorly installed and rain water had been leaking in for years. The hidden wood beams were completely rotted and compromised the sale. Vision Construction LLC responded immediately for what was seemingly a small project but was essential for the sale of our family home. Vision Construction LLC provided a complete diagnostic, a solution and an estimate that resolved the problem. Vision Construction LLC was transparent, fair and particularly cordial. When dealing with stressful issues, it was invaluable to find an honest partner who accompanied us for a successful resolution.

Ted and his team really did a fantastic job in all aspects of our large renovation project. We are thrilled with how everything turned out. Living through a big renovation can be difficult, but Ted and his crew did everything they could to minimize the interruptions in our daily lives. Ted's team as well as all of the sub contractors were very professional and skilled at their portion of the project. The house was cleaned at the end of every day. The attention to detail throughout all phases of the renovation from bidding to completion, and all of the areas in between was unparalleled. Ted was not only at the house everyday, but with us every step of the way and always communicated what was coming next. He patiently answered all of our questions and worked with us on any change orders. We would definitely recommend Vision if you are looking for a renovation partner in the Morris/Somerset County area.

This was our third project with Vision Construction. Obviously, we are more than pleased with the work done by Ted & his team, since we called them for a third time. This time, we needed Ted's help solving an issue where the bathroom on our main floor was leaking into the basement bathroom. His team gutted both bathrooms and were able to determine what the issue was, fix it, and then renovate the bathrooms. We absolutely loved the finished product, the price was fair, and the project stayed within the time estimate. When the time comes for another project, we will definitely reach out to Vision again!

We recently embarked on a double bathroom + master bedroom renovation with Vision Construction and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. From the bidding process, to scheduling the project, to managing subs and our change orders, to the unfortunate obstacles during the height of COVID—the attention to detail and the level of organization that Ted and his team provided was unmatched. We were always kept in the loop each week – who was coming when, and what was being accomplished – so there were never any surprises. Dust is always an issue when you’re living in a construction zone, but they did their very best keeping it all contained and cleaning up at the end of each day. We have two young children and living without a shower for an extended period of time just wasn’t going to work. Out of all of the contractors that we met with, Ted was the only one that came up with a temporary solution that was both convenient for us and efficient for the overall project. We’ve been living in our new spaces for a little over a year now and everything still looks amazing and we are truly enjoying it every single day. We did run into a couple minor issues post-construction, however Ted was always responsive and made every effort to resolve the issue as quick as possible. He truly stands by his work and his team and we are so thrilled that we had the opportunity to work with him. A special shout out to Ted’s right hand man – Reid! Not a day goes by when my husband and I are not extremely grateful to have worked with Ted and his team at Vision Construction on our renovation to turn the entire first floor (including large kitchen redesign) of our 1950’s home into an updated, light filled space for my family to enjoy. Ted’s high expectations and expertise guided us through our entire process. He was timely and honest with extreme attention to detail. At our initial meeting, Ted told us a timeline and budget and stuck true to it. If we didn’t see Ted at our project daily, he’d literally be a phone call away. We feel as though his organization and communication made this seemingly tough process much easier for our family– we always knew what was coming next and what to expect with it. The professionals that Ted chooses to work with displayed the same level of professionalism; kind, patient with our questions and meticulously clean. We have used Ted and his Vision Construction team for two major projects and I would go directly to them for a third one . Ted provides the most detailed contract with fair pricing and sticks to it . He starts and ends on time . He is trustworthy and stands by his work . Any hiccups we had along the way I was able to go to him and we fixed it . I have heard some nightmare experiences that friends have had with contractors and I’m so happy I found one of the good ones .

This fact alone should be enough to attest to the quality and efficiency with which Ted and his crew execute a construction project: This is the fourth time that we have used Vision Construction for a remodeling project. Our first project was a remodel of the master bedroom and bathroom. We were so pleased by the quality of the work we then had him remodel four other bathrooms. Again, great craftmanship and flawless execution. Based on that we then had them remodel our great room and my home office. Again, everything went off without a hitch. The last project he did for us was a complete kitchen remodel, remodeling of the pantry and laundry room, redoing all the hardwood floors in the house and putting in new hardscape in the front and back of the house. Every single one of these projects was completed remarkably close to the projected completion time and cost, even in the face of COVID and supply chain disruptions. Any changes made along the way were communicated to us with clear and concise changes orders that we agreed to in advance of the execution of any project scope change. The subcontractors that he used were top notch. They showed up when Ted said they would, were friendly and did beautiful work and showed real pride in their workmanship. Ted and his crew were great communicators, so my wife and I were never left in limbo. They were very respectful of our property and did a beautiful job of cleaning up at the end of each workday so that the house was livable throughout the four projects, save for the period when the hardwood floors were redone. Over the years I have had contractors build homes or do remodels for me in three different states. His company is the most professional construction services company I have ever dealt with. I would give them six stars if I could.

Vision Construction Services was a wonderful company to work with. We were looking for a design-build upgrade to our master bathroom, which involved eliminating walls and gutting the old space. Ted was extremely organized, developing a schedule that he and his crew adhered to. He was dependable and a great communicator. He always did what he said he would do and was fun to work with. Ted's crew and subcontractors were excellent: well-trained, clean, courteous and knowledgeable. They left the house immaculate after each day's work. The workmanship was excellent. Everything turned out even better than we had imagined. During the renovation, Ted handled questions and change orders well. His pricing was always transparent. Ted was great with obtaining permits and working with town officials, even during the pandemic. The whole process was a great experience and we are looking for other opportunities to get him back again.

Brandon and Javier did a fantastic job on our roof replacement. They worked seamlessly with our solar company and were very timely in providing quotes and completion of the work. They also provided great communication throughout the roof installation regarding issues identified so that there were no surprises at the end. Highly recommended.
