Their attention to detail and communication throughout the process made me feel heard and involved. The end result exceeded my expectations, turning the house into a home filled with personal touches.

Wedge wood is building a house on our street. The building site is a mess. Trash everywhere. Sidewalk grass not mowed. We have had Old Town build next to us and the site is immaculate. For such a high end builder they need some oversight. I hope the quality of there build is better than their professionalism and respect for a neighborhood.

Months pass with no response to related emails asking for updates on warranty work. They care more about building more houses than taking care of customers. They can't replace missing shingles, fix sunken concrete, overflowing water softener plumbing, or simple mortar for months. 6 months into owning the home and they finally replaced the shingles last month. Home looks great and they eventually will stand by their warranty, but you've got to chase them for months to get them to do it. It's exhausting, but maybe that's what they want. I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel this is my only option. I would also add that if you look at the positive reviews most of them are from their sub-contractors who benefit from helping their employer.

Update 4/21/2023: Gary McNutt and Wedgewood have taken steps to address a design defect from my house long-after the house was built. They stand behind their work and want to make their customers happy with their product, even for second-hand owners like myself. Their architectural and design philosophies are overall first-rate and I would definitely enlist their services in the future.

Wedgewood is an amazing company to work with. They are responsive, care about their customer and trade partners. They build a great home & I would recommend them.

We thought Wedgewood was a premium builder and bought a 3 year old house built by Wedgewood. I can honestly say they are no better than any other bottom barrel builder. Cabinet doors are falling off, high end appliances are pitiful, sump pump failure, roof construction failures, HVAC ducts not connected, undersized HVAC fan, Windows poorly installed and needed repair to shut, cracked foundation. These were just some of the problems after living in the house 1 year. Wedgewood puts nice finishing touches to distract from all the defects. I will never build or buy a Wedgewood home again. Pathetic at best.
