I'm reviewing my experience regarding the substandard quality of work and the lack of follow-up customer service I have experienced with We Pave. On July 11, 2024, your team completed a paving job at my residence. Unfortunately, the final result is far from satisfactory, and subsequent attempts to resolve these issues have been ignored.
The specific problems with the paving job include:
Poor Paving Edges: The edges of the driveway are not straight and look unprofessional.
Inconsistent Asphalt Mixture: Several areas of the driveway appear black and white, indicating an improper mix of tar in the asphalt. These areas are also uneven, with stones beginning to come loose.
Communication and Follow-Up: Despite multiple phone calls and text messages to both the salesman, Walt, and yourself, there has been no action taken to address these issues. You had committed to visiting the site to inspect the asphalt mixture problem over two weeks ago, but this has not occurred.
Additionally, there were inaccuracies in the invoice write-up that were not corrected.
The lack of response and accountability from your company is deeply disappointing. As a customer, I expect that the services I pay for are delivered with a standard of quality and that any issues are promptly addressed. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience with We Pave.

worst of the worst with date of experience unknown exactly because tried to forget.
Absolute worst company I have ever had to deal. DO NOT stand behind their work and refuse to call back regardless of how many messages left with company. I was left with extremely poor workmanship and an inside garage swimming pool. Even though present the whole time of paving install, my concerns were ignored. Cost thousands to repair but now very happy. No idea how they get away with ripping people off with no consequences. Sleep well.

NO STARS! I have called this company more than a dozen times to get them to fix the job they did in August 2022 and say they guarantee....only to be told someone will get back to me - 3 weeks ago I was told someone would be out the following week. NO SHOW! I have emailed pictures, text pictures, called every number. My next step is claims court which I have called and spoke with Bill personally about; only to be side stepped again by him and his company.

Terrible experience. I have given this company numerous opportunities to correct their mistakes and I have been ignored, no return calls, no return emails. I have reached out on numerous occasions and I am no longer wasting my time. I will ensure all the people and companies I am in contact with in Southern Maryland do not use this vendor. This includes all my contacts in Property Management.

The worst preparation I’ve ever seen, paving is crumbling on 30-40% of the entire job. Where asphalt joins another asphalt job done by someone else, it’s falling apart in chunks, only 1/2” thick in spots.
The worst asphalt job I’ve ever see. Don’t waste your money, find a reputable company.

Cannot recommend it. Their workmanship is great. However, we were not given what we asked for. We asked to extend and widen the driveway and pull out. While they extended the pull-out, they did not widen the driveway. The driveway is still useless and we will have to call another company to widen and extend the driveway.

Sorry you feel that way. Walt met you there twice and painted put out the area to be paved that was agreed upon. When we were finished you told him it looked great. We paved to the paint lines that you and Walt agreed on. If you’d like it bigger again we can do that but you can’t get a 12” sub from subway eat it then tell them it should of been an 18”sub and you want another 6” for free. We will be glad to add more on but it will come at a cost since we paved to the lines and measurements agreed upon.

Update November 2022! WePave, paved my entire driveway in March 2021. It looked great until it rained and left an large puddle. I have contacted Walt the sales rep and the owner repeatedly since than. Last winter (2021) the owner told me that they would return and fix the problem in the spring - it is now approaching winter again and WePave has done nothing- they never returned to fix the driveway. Meanwhile the puddle area seems to be getting bigger. I am afraid WePave is not the kind of company that stands behind their work!

So for weeks I called asphalt companies. Some said they would get back to me in a week or two weeks. Others I filled out quote form on their website and others just didnt return my messages. When I said in other reviews that service is dead it is true until I called We Pave. I spoke to someone right away and a couple days later Walter was at my house. He said they could do the seal-coating and I was thinking, well I will be waiting another few weeks for this job. A few days later Mike stopped by the house to take care of the job. On time and very professional. I got updates all the way until Mike showed up to the job. If you need a job taken care of DO NOT waste your time with the other companies. Just call We Pave and they will take care of you.

All American, professional, ethical, respectful, and thorough. Work was scheduled and work started rapidly. Money well spent, I am satisfied with the work rendered, and my property is leveled up. Thanks to Billy and his crew, and will be in contact for routine maintenance. Stay busy, stay American!
