We stayed 2nights in here, a perfect place which is surrounded by nature.From here 30min travel to Wilpattu national park they also arranged the ride for us. Room was spacious and clean. However, they could improve more on their meals...

Had a lot very time at this quaint little getaway spot. The setting is absolutely breathtaking. The service was magnificent. Lal, the seafood chef was especially worthy of noting - his crab curry was delicious. Highly recommended.

Great place tucked away in the jungle. Amazing experience with a touch of luxury. The staff are knowledgeable and goes out of there way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The service and hospitality was seriously amazing.

Stayed there for a night with family. Communication with Ms. Krishani was smooth, before we checked in. The place is good, pool is excellent. Wilpattu national park is one of the most picturesque parks I've visited. Since we were vegetarians from India, they obliged and made some good food. Gave us packed breakfast as well. 2 stars less due to the following - 1. Hot water pressure in both the bathrooms was pretty bad. Was quite uncomfortable to have a bath 2. Wilpattu National park only accepts Srilankan Rupee. Neither Krishani , nor anyone from the hotel mentioned this at all. We went there with US dollars, and took us more than half an hour to convince them that we will withdraw and pay later , after which we had to go to the ATM to withdraw. When guests from foreign countries are coming , we expect the hotel to inform us about these restrictions, so that we can be prepared 3. Swimming pool needs some maintenance. The ladder needs to be replaced, broken and rusted 4. The staff needs to be trained. When we requested for some curd and honey after lunch, there was a moment of hesitation from the staff. Though we had paid for full board, and were entitled to some dessert, the hesitation was really off putting If these issues can be resolved, it's a good place to stay

We hadden een goed verblijf bij Cloud Nine. Je merkt dat het hotel nog niet heel veel ervaring heeft maar ze doen erg hun best, wat soms wel aandoenlijk was. Het was een halfuurtje rijden naar het Wilpattu park.

"Amazing Eco-Friendly Stay with Wildlife and Beautiful Lagoon!" I stayed at Cloud Nine Wilpattu for one night, and it was a special experience! The hotel is eco-friendly and close to nature, which made my stay even better. The room was clean, comfortable, and designed to be sustainable, but still had all the comforts I needed. The food was delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. The best part was the night walk, where I got to see animals in their natural home, including lorises for the first time! It was an unforgettable experience. Another highlight was the nearby lagoon, which was absolutely magnificent. I enjoyed it so much that I visited it twice during my stay. Plus, Willpattu National Park is less than a 30-minute drive from the hotel, making it perfect for nature lovers. If you want a peaceful, eco-friendly stay with wildlife, I highly recommend Cloud Nine. I can’t wait to come back!

I recently stayed at Cloud Nine Wilpattu, and it was an amazing experience! The location is absolutely beautiful—right in the middle of nature, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for a getaway. Surrounded by green trees and the sounds of wildlife, it really feels like a hidden paradise. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, combining luxury with the natural setting. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Being close to Wilpattu National Park was a big plus, as we could easily explore the wildlife nearby. Waking up to the sunrise and fresh air was a refreshing experience. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and connect with nature, Cloud Nine Wilpattu is the ideal spot. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves nature and wants a break from the busy city life!

Really one of the BEST hotel stays we had in Sri Lanka!!! Easy to do tours with them, you can also tell them spontaneously for example we did the Loris Tour in the evening. Was very informative and exciting! The rooms were very beautiful and clean. The entire resort area is magical. The pool had a good temperature to even go in the evening. If you love animals this is a must see place! We just stayed two nights because of time issues, but i wish we could have stayed longer. However we saw a lot of animals there: - a wild squirrel that decided to sit on us (see picture) - a hawk that had caught a mongo - a turtle on the street - monkeys - loris The owner of the place also told us that he saw a chameleon the day before. He is a very good photographer and showed me some of his incredible art. Also all of the stuff was super friendly and helpful in every situation. Definitely want to come back to explore more wildlife!

Very pretty landscaped place with comfortable lodges hidden amongst it. Rooms very clean and spacious with balconies overlooking the jungle. Mangroves nearby are stunning with lots of birds, reptiles and monkeys. The food was very mediocre though in comparison to similar places we stayed. No real choice and also nowhere else nearby that you can eat. But apart of that, I would absolutely recommend.

Emerging out of the mangroves is a heaven like experience in a form of a hotel, cloud nine wilpattu is must stay hotel for anyone hoping to visit the wilpattu national park. You can enter the park from the eliwankuluna entrance rather than the normal park entrance as it gives you more of a wilder experience because no one really knows about it. In the hotel you meet great staff, wonderful mouth watering food and an amazing hotel room. We stayed in one off there Felix family rooms where were really taken cared of. The room is very spacious and had all the amenities that were required and more. We enjoyed the wild animal noises when we woke up in the morning and the view from there view point is very beautiful. We will definitely stay here again and wished we could have extended our stay there as it made such a big impact that exceeded our expectations.

Cloud Nine viel een beetje tegen. Het was verder van de ingang van Wilpattu park dan verwacht (30 min en niet 15 zoals vermeld op de website) en communicatie over vervoer etc. verliep niet altijd even soepel. De huisjes met kamers zijn erg basic (matras wel prima) en gehorig maar de aanleg van de tuin met zwembad en open eetzaal is heel aardig, eten niet echt bijzonder.

We enjoyed very much our stay in this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food was great. The pool is very nice. The staff is very kind. We enjoyed being in the wild.

Our stay in Cloud 9 was an unforgettable experience. Environment, food quality, room condition and all other services were amaizing and made us to feel visiting another time in future.

This is one of the satisfied stays ever I had. It's located remotely area out of the city. Calm and quiet. Staff is well professional and friendly. I have spend 2 nights with 12 guests. All are satisfied. Thank you very much, Cloud Nine
