Esta empresa fue un gran acierto! Alquilamos un vehículo al precio que nos indicaron, nada de subidas de última hora (pasa mucho en Costa Rica). Los chicos que nos atendieron fueron muy amables. Les dijimos los lugares que íbamos a visitar, nos dieron un mapa y nos dijeron lugares donde comer barato y donde repostar la gasolina. Pagamos lo estimado de la reserva y nos la devolvieron sin problemas (nosotros la hicimos con la tarjeta Revolut y tardó casi un mes en llegar la devolución, pero eso depende del banco).

Everything worked out perfectly fine. They are super responsive and affordable. They also offer full coverage for a few dollars per day. The remaining insurances are included and there's nothing to worry about

All positives, good people, highly recommended if you need a 4x4

I've rented cars around the world and this is by far the best experience. Car was great, customer service excellent, and they even become mini tourist information centres as they help and advise you where to travel before you pick up the car. They also helped me to cancel a hotel booking due to a late landing and also helped me with a phone SIM. They were honest and likeable and I wish they could replicate their service worldwide

Muy buena empresa para alquilar vehículos en Costa Rica, no tienen letra chica en el seguro y son super serviciales.

Coche a precio adecuado aunque algo alto. Reservamos 4x4 automatico durante 17 dias con seguro a todo riesgo. Pequeños detalles del carro: no funcionaban los antinieblas, el coche no tiene gps con carplay o similar y la radio a veces se volvia loca (como si alguien le diera a la siguiente cancion o a bajar el volumen constantemente). Todo bien hasta que el ultimo dia de viaje tuvimos un susto, nos chocó la rueda de otro vehículo. Nos cambiaron el coche en unas 2 horas estando bastante cerca de San Jose (había un trafico espantoso y lo entendimos). Estaba diluviando y querian que les esperaramos en el mismo lugar del accidente a pesar de las indicaciones del policia, que nos recomendaba apartarnos de la vía por riesgo del lugar. Por otro lado, cuando llegó Paola a cambiarnos el vehiculo, nos comentó que deberíamos abonar la gasolina faltante, no fue nada amable e incluso nos llamó malcriadas (por decir una expresión habitual española, en un momento de nervios). El segundo vehículo no disponía de USB, aparato para sujetar el movil a modo GPS, ni cristales tintados… como el primero (que lo tenia todo). De peor calidad claramente. No nos rebajaron el precio. Es mas, al entregarlo, nos comentaron que pagáramos 20$ de gasolina faltante del primer vehiculo (no llegaba a 3/4 usados y el tanque full son 52$). Acordamos pagar menos $ evidentemente. En conclusión, no nos gustó la comunicación de la empresa y sobre todo el trato por parte de la compañera que nos trajo el coche de cambio. Pd. No aconsejamos comprar SIM en este establecimiento. 15€/ 2 dias de internet limitado (solo usado para Gps), es una estafa. Mas aun cuando - supuestamente - te la activan ellos (Rafa) en la oficina y resulta que me activaron la itinerancia de la mía, llegandome una factura de 65€ en menos de 48h… Rafa fue simpatico a nuestra llegada, nos explicó carreteras complicadas y nuestra ruta con detalle, pero no fue nada agradable la factura de la SIM.

Professional, honest up-front pricing, and great vehicles! Took my CC's CDW waiver no problem. Got a Lil manual 4x4 Jimny for my wife and I. Thomas helped us by giving us a map with recommendations for the area we were headed to, as well as EXCELLENT advice about driving in Costa Rica. Get the $0 deductible road damage option, (we got a cracked windshield from a rock).

We rented a Suzuki Jimny for two weeks, and it was excellent. The car was new, reliable, and we didn’t experience any issues. The price was also very reasonable. Rafa provided a thorough walkthrough and shared valuable tips about the roads and driving culture in Costa Rica. Highly recommended!

Open and honest with their pricing, which was the best we found for a 4x4 SUV for 2 adults 2 kids plus luggage (carry on plus a few extra items we picked up on our two week trip). Excellent customer service and communication via email and WhatsApp. Max was a pleasure to deal with. We had a couple of small electrical problems with our car, which we could live with, but they sent a mechanic out within two hours of me notifying them. The problem was resolved by tightening battery connections but they were prepared to swap the car if the problem wasn't fixed (Gustavo the mechanic arrived in the replacement car). We were recommended this company by a friend and I would encourage anyone needing a hire car in CR to use them. Airport pickup and drop off is a nice touch too.

I had a great experience with WILD RIDER, especially thanks to Ms. Andrea. Although we ultimately didn't rent a car from them, the communication and clarity provided were exceptional compared to other companies in San Jose. Andrea was very responsive and professional, giving us clear information and honest advice, which really stood out. Based on our interaction, I can say that WILD RIDER has excellent customer service, and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a car rental in Costa Rica!

This was by far our most amazing experience for our whole Central America trip. We rented a Toyota RAV4 4x4 with the rooftop tent and spent 5 weeks driving around Costa Rica. The team at Wild Rider were so incredibly helpful and within an hour of arriving we were driving off fully loaded with all the camping gear we could ever need, and then some. The car and service were faultless, and we got to experience some of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. Cannot recommend enough. Also, the price is unbeatable!

Todo genial. Desde el inicio muy fácil el contacto con ellos, el precio tal cual nos dijeron en el correo. No tuvimos problema con el coche, con el 4x4 fuimos perfectamente por carreteras algo complicadas.. Al llegar además nos hicieron una recomendación de ruta para recorrer el país y de sitios a visitar, y el transporte desde y al aeropuerto eficaz también.
