Una excelente e increible experiencia, le doy muchas gracias a nuestro guía José, nuestro guía traductor Giane (perdón si esta mal escrito) y al chef Juan por esta excelente aventura, es una caminata exigente, el clima es retador pero se goza cada momento, recomiendo que lleven una camiseta de secado rápido manga larga y pantalón de secado rápido para el día que se está en ciudad perdida (la capital del mosquito).

Maravilloso trip. Con mi novio nos vamos inmensamente agradecidos por esta travesía, desde el primer contacto que tuvimos con WiwaTours, el trato de la agencia fue muy bueno, siempre prestos a aclarar dudas y con la información clara. De manera presencial también el trato allí fue con mucha amabilidad e indicando todas las recomendaciones necesarias. En cuanto al tour, agradecemos a Francisco (Pacho) nuestro guía propio de la comunidad Wiwa, a Carlos el intérprete y a Juan encargado de la cocina. La atención y servicio de parte de ellos siempre fue cordial, brindaron en cada momento acompañamiento y brindaban motivación para esta caminata. Valoramos las historias, los paisajes, toda la comunidad, los campamentos y la tranquilidad con la que se realiza el recorrido. Nos vamos con aprendizajes y con una gran experiencia, la mejor decisión fue escoger una agencia con guías propios de las comunidades indígenas.

Una experiencia que vale completamente cada gota de sudor! Nuestro grupo tuvo 3 guías increíbles! Carlos el traductor que siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar en todo! Francisco "Pachito" Quién es una puerta abierta a su cultura, sus creencias y siempre trata de responder todas las preguntas que hacen, su menera de explicar y su paciencia son excepcionales! Sus historias son maravillosas y Leandro quién hace el recorrido muy ameno y jocoso, dando ánimos cuando más se necesita. Fueron 4 días cargados de risas, barro, sudor y la comida deliciosa de Elkin. Tuvimos todo lo necesario para el trekking.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer el Tour de ciudad perdida con Turcol y Wiwa tours Y nuestra experiencia fue excelente. Viajamos como familia y estuvimos acompañados por guías nativos, conocedores de la región y que nos acompañaron paso a paso protegiéndonos todo el camino. Recomendamos ampliamente a los guías Francisco, y Jose ramon Gil, sin la ayuda de ellos nuestra experiencia no hubiera sido tan positiva porque el trayecto es bastante difícil.

The highlight of my trip to Colombia was the four day trek to ciudad perdida with our guide, Eliseo. It was a privilege to explore this special place with him thanks to his indigenous knowledge and wit. The whole tour was very professionally run and the food cooked lovingly by William was delicious. Highly recommend

Super expérience de trek ! En plus des paysages, wiwa tour permet d'en apprendre plus sur la sierra nevada et les communautés qui y vivent puisque les treks sont menés par des guides indigènes. Notre guide, José, a été super pendant les 4 jours pour partager ses connaissances et sa culture, répondre à toutes nos questions et même nous faire rire ! Le traducteur Matéo et le cuisiner José qui nous ont aussi accompagnés pendant tous le trek ont été supers ! Je recommande particulièrement l'expérience ebmn basse saison. Nous avons toujours eu un lit avec moustiquere pour dormir et les petits groupes permettent de mieux se connaître et facilitent les échanges avec le guide. Si vous n'avez pas peur de transpirer, foncez !

De 4-daagse Lost City Trek gedaan en was echt super goed bevallen! Het eten was goed, alles was perfect geregeld en David is een goede vertaal gids :)

I had the best possible experience with wiwa, honestly all my expectations were exceeded. Our guide, Miguel, and translator, Victor, took such great care of us and made sure that we were comfortable and well informed all throughout the trek. The fact that we got to hear about the rich history and traditions of the wiwa from a member themselves made this experience very special. Anyone considering doing the trek, please do so with wiwa because it will most definitely be unforgettable!

Ce trek a été une expérience très émouvante, autant grâce aux nombreux échanges culturels que par la solennité de la cité. Nos guides José et Francisco nous ont beaucoup appris de la culture Wiwa, nous en ressortons grandis. On transmets aussi un grand merci à notre traducteur Yann et surtout à notre merveilleuse cuisinière Nori, la nourriture était excellente! Dans l'ensemble nous avons été très bien encadré par l'équipe, il n'y avait pas grand monde sur les chemins et dans les dortoirs, c'était positif. Je pense qu'il vaut mieux faire le trek en basse saison touristique pour en profiter pleinement. Ensuite pour les chemins, ils montent et descendent régulièrement, il vaut mieux avoir de bons genoux ou des bâtons de marche pour s'aider. Nous recommandons vivement de passer par Wiwa Tour si vous recherchez une connexion culturelle avec le lieu et les peuples qui l'habitent. Les autres tours ont l'air d'avoir une bonne ambiance, mais ils leur manquent cette dimension.

I had the most wonderful tour to Ciudad Perdida with Wiwa! Miguel, the indigenous guide was amazing, always paying attention to my needs! I started the tour with a small wound on my foot and I was quite apprehensive if I should do the trekking or not, luckily Miguel really took care of me, disinfecting it every night and dressing change before each hike! I feel my experience with Wiwa was very special and different from other agencies since we had the opportunity to learn a lot about the history of this place and it's culture directly from those who were part of it, farmers, indigenous and tour guides! The trekking was challenging but certainly worth it, and in part because of such a professional and dedicated tour guides, who made me feel in a "family" environment. Oh and the food was soooo delicious!! They totally spoiled us! The route is simply amazing and Ciudad Perdida Is not only incredibly beautiful but a special place! Thank you Wiwa!

Trek de 4 jours à la cité perdue de Teyruna C’était incroyable ! Une agence qui travaille avec les populations locales et qui connaît son sujet ce qui est très appréciable. Merci encore à Rafael et Efren qui ont été des guides à l’écoute, drôles et interessants. Merci à Luis pour les délicieux et copieux repas. Nous recommandons fortement cette agence !

La mejor agencia para hacer el tour de Ciudad perdida. Nuestro guía José Mojica fue muy amable, y junto a él vivimos una experiencia única gracias a su autenticidad. Hicimos un ritual de bienvenida cuando llegamos a la ciudad perdida lo cual era importante para él y su cultura indígena. Nuestro chef William siempre atento y con una sonrisa enorme nos contagiaba de su felicidad todo el tiempo. Hicimos el tour de 5 días y aunque la página web describe el cuarto día más fácil si se decide hacer los 5 días, a mi punto de vista el cuarto día fue el día más difícil de todo el tour. El quinto día si fue muy fácil, una caminata de 2 horas y media y el campamento de la cuarta noche es uno de los más bonitos y cómodos.

We did the 5 day Lost City (Ciudad Perdida) tour with Wiwa Tours and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Our guide, Jose Mojica, delivered a tour that was authentic and made us feel welcome every step of the way. He was knowledgeable, funny, and compassionate, which made the experience enjoyable even when the hiking became difficult and challenging. Our chef, William, was one of the most positive and happy people that I've ever met. He greeted every request with a glowing smile and paid careful attention to our dietary requirements. I'm extremely grateful to have chosen Wiwa Tours for this trek and urge all others seeking an authentic Lost City (Ciudad Perdida) experience to choose Wiwa Tours.

We had an amazing 5-day trip to the ciudad perdida! So glad we went with Wiwa as we had a couple nights at private camps and learned so much from the indigenous guides and families we stayed with along the way. Guides were fun, professional, and very kind. We had an unusually large group (27 tourists!) but the team decided to stay as one instead of splitting into three smaller groups and we are so glad they did. Camaraderie in the group was wonderful. Elisseo was our lead guide for most of the trip with David translating. Both incredible at their jobs! Benjamin was our guide for the 5th day and was very chill (the 5th day is an easier hiking day full of hammocking, tubing, and waterfall swims! You definitely want to do it if you have time!) We are so grateful to our cooks ( thank you Ana Gomez and Junior!!) and other guides for their cheery faces, preparing snacks, and teaching us along the way. This trek is tough! But well worth it and the accomodations were clean and comfortable. We found out after that the tour caravan can pick you up/drop you off anywhere between Santa Marta and the hike start in Mamey which is very convenient if you are not in Santa Marta already.
