I have never written a bad review before but for my 21st birthday I made a 10pm reservation for the party room and they wouldn’t let us in and we had to eat in a separate section we did not even know existed. They didn’t make it clear we couldn’t dine in the party room with a 10pm reservation. We ordered pita bread and dips and were given only 2 pieces of bread with a party of 4 people. We had a lot of left over dip and when we asked for more bread they said the kitchen was closed so they couldn’t bring over bread. So we wasted half the food we ordered. Terrible experience and will not be coming back.

Good food but poorly managed space. Usually this wouldn’t make a difference but it honestly left a sour taste after today.

Despite having a reservation and waiting over 30 minutes, we were crammed into a spot that was barely enough for 2 people for a party of 3. When we requested to use an adjacent table, the staff told us the space was reserved for another party. When I tried to reason with the server, he made a joke about he saw things differently. Said party didn’t arrive for at least 30 minutes and there were multiple spacious settings available without having that poor couple feeling cramped. Sadly, the restaurant would rather have their patrons uncomfortable and crammed into the space than serve slightly less people but have a more optimal experience. I saw multiple parties of 2 or 3 after our group request to be placed in more ideal settings, which clearly means something is wrong.

Really disappointed with my experience. Wanted to check out the place after seeing it on TikTok but the food is bland and unseasoned…

They sat us outside, even if there were vacant seats inside. They said it was reserved , but the whole time we were there (aprox. 1hr) the 4-5 tables were unoccupied. The dining experience was uncomfortable.

Good food as always and lovely staff. Note: the room is packed like sardines, you will have to put coat on outside to avoid hitting other people.

The food is inconsistent, some dishes are good, others not so much. The only reliably good option is the 12 Chairs salad. Unfortunately, the shakshuka was the worst I’ve ever had.

Fabulous brunch spot with great food, drinks and atmosphere. A cute little shop on a beautiful small street in SOHO. We had mimosa’s, Avo toast, Israeli salad and the hummus falafel. The service was quick and friendly and the menu prices are more than fair. I will be back again as I hear the dinner atmosphere is just as fabulous

This is the BEST BEST BEST Israeli food and very friendly service. My new favorite restaurant.

I absolutely love 12 chairs Café. I have been going here for 4 years and it is so amazing. The music though especially at this location is terrible and it is so hard to even get a word across the table. It is way too loud. this is coming from a young girl and I just think it is so so loud.

Omg!!!! My husband and I went. The food was to live for. Plenty and very well seasoned...actually to perfection. Will definitely return to try other dishes on menu!
