My garage wasn't insulated when it was built and the builders only put in the absolute bare minimum in the attic for the rest of the house. I loved that there wasn't a sales pitch when I was getting the quote, I was simply provided the details for the various R ratings for both the garage and the house and was left to make the decision on my own. Any questions I had were answered in a professional way. Jacob was able to understand that I had a decent amount of knowledge and didn't waste our time by trying to explain anything that I didn't need him to. On install day, I really didn't notice that they were in the attic performing any work, they were very quiet and respectful that I was in meetings for most of the day. Due to the amount of work, it required them to be around all day as I was expecting. The entire work area was left very clean when they were finished and I've already noticed a difference in the garage (from no insulation) and inside the house by adding the additional insulation. My data logging indicates that the temperature of the house is staying more consistent and isn't fluctuating as much as before and this is causing my heater to run less often. The only issue I had was receiving my final invoice showing everything was paid along with the photos that they took of the work. Once I sent a reminder text message, I was able to get it the next business day.

We had Home Comfort Insulation insulate the attic above and the outside walls of our garage. Jacob answered all our questions and gave us a competitive quote, and his crew of Micah and Ryley did a great job. They showed up on time, filled the wall cavities to ~R-15 and the attic to R-38, patched the holes in the walls, and left the garage cleaner than when they arrived. No, seriously: it really was much cleaner after they left. I was expecting to be cleaning up drywall dust for days afterwards, but it looks great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing residential insulation work done.

I want to say thanks to Jacob, Micah, and Ryley. Insulation is not the most fun way to spend your hard-earned money, but it does have a return on investment. Jacob, the owner of Home Comfort was really great to work with. He educated me on the process and made me understand what options were the best for our unique home. We were woefully under-insulated and Jacob and his team made sure we understood how to best keep our home cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They brought us from 4" of old insulation to 17". They also installed a solar attic fan to keep the air fresh and cool during summer. I feel like their prices were more than fair, and the customer service was fantastic.

Jacob and his crew, Micah and Riley were very professional from the first estimate to the end. I received excellent advice and adding insulation to the house attic and insulating the ceiling above my garage. I felt like they took extra care to my house and property, and did a great job. All three are very personal and kind. And get this, as they were leaving, Riley says “oh hey, I found this in your attic” and handed me a dusty 1 dollar bill!

They blew in new insulation in our attic. They were quick and efficient and friendly. The result has been great. We are much warmer and the temperature inside is much more consistent throughout the house. We are very pleased with their work.

Jacob, Micah and Riley went way above and beyond what we were expecting and very meticulously sealed every possible leak from our doors, windows, heat vents, in kitchen cabinets and even outlets. As my house is built in 2003, decided it was time to check on the attic insulation. Had Jacob come out and give me a bid. Added some R60 insulation and also had the windows caulked as the seals had faded over time. Fair price. Pleased with the work. One-time and professional. Website was very well done and explained everything in detail.

Easy experience working with Jacob and team. Jacob showed up (which is something other contractors I called failed to do at all) for the initial inspection, didn't try to sell me on additional services, only giving his thoughts and advice and answering my questions. On the day of the install, Jacob and team were again right on time, quick with their work, and did a great job! I live in an old house and went from ~3" of insulation to 13.5" in a VERY tight attic. Would definitely use Jacob and his team again.

Jacob Shapiro (owner) is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! He's honest, thorough, professional, and strives to make sure his customers are happy. I received a few bids for blown in insulation for our attic, and his price was the best and he was willing to work with me on a few adjustments to keep the price in our budget. He made it clear on everything that was going to happen and fulfilled all of what we talked about. They are professional and thorough and that's why I went with Home Comfort! The quote was extremely fair. The installation crew was on time, very polite and provided great customer service. They were here less than 2 hours and protected the house from any dust or insulation. I highly recommend them. I immediately felt the difference with the AC running less but still very comfortable during this heat wave.
