Great 2day trip! Highly recommended! It was great two days spent with Dilan and wonderful Sri Lankan experience. We visited many interesting and beautiful places like: Little Adams peak, Nine Arch bridge, waterfalls and Yala Park. I fully recommend such trip to anyone ! It was really good time !

Great trip to Horton Plains from Ella A very nice trip from Ella to the Horton Plains! It was super spontaneous – we asked via whatsapp for a hiking trip to the Worlds End on the next day! Because the trains were fully booked, Dilan arranged immediately a private Tuctuc for the round trip. He brought very delicious homemade food, took care of everything, was really nice and helpfull and gave us a good tour through the amazing national park! Highly recommended!…

Great 2 day trips, amazing experience Dilan organized for us 2 day trips - customised to our wish: 1st day - sunrise at Nine Arch bridge, trek to Little Adam’s peak, and then a drive by tuk tuk to couple of waterfalls. One of them required a trek through the woods and mountains, that was soo cool! 2nd day - Yala Park, with pickup in Ella and drop off in Mirissa, very convenient for us. Both tours were very professional, Dilan speaks very good english and can tell you about any topic you are interested in. Great communication prior to the trips. I would recommend to anyone!…

Yala package tour Had a lovely experience with Dilan, we did a package pick up tour and everything went really smoothly. Nice car , air con we did the yala safari and he gave us good information on the types of animals and was pointing them out as we went. Dilan also gave us a lovely breakfast and then after took us out for lunch which was very kind then continued to drive to mirrisa . I recommend anyone wanting to have a yala tour guide , very friendly and helpful ☺️…

Perfect tour and guide! Dilan helped us with a transfer from Ella to Mirrisa, with a stop of for a safari at Yala on the way which was ideal for us! He was so friendly and helpful and full of information about Sri Lanka and the animals. He also kindly provided us with breakfast and lunch! We had a great time and plenty of laughs along the way :) …

Horton Plains / highly recommended We did a hiking tour to the Horton Plains with Dilan. He picked us up with a TukTuk in Ella and we did the rest by train. It's the same train you take from Ella to Kandy. Starting the trek in the Horton Plains to Little Worlds End, World's End, and came back over the baker…

Excellent Choice I contacted Dilan with less than 24 hours and he replied promptly and clearly. We were able to agree on a tour plan, price and logistics very quickly. He was in contact with me as I slowly traveled toward Ella. He met me on time at my hotel and dropped me off at the train station on time as well, so I appreciated his being so responsible with our schedule. We enjoyed a somewhat challenging hiking agenda but whatever the exertion, it was well worth the incredible and srinning views at the top of Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak. Dilan has a friendly and curious personality so it is a pleasure spending time with him. It was easy to provide him a five star review. He totally earned it!

More than a guide We contacted Dilan as we needed to have a transfer from Ella to Mirissa but with a stop in Yala for a morning Safari. Dilan replied quickly and arranged everything for us. He sent a VERY comfortable van that picked us exactly at the time agreed on (4am). The driver was very polite and got us quickly to the entry point, picking up Dilan on the way. There we switched to a jeep, all for ourselves, to proceed into the park. We then spent a few hours trying every road to find as many animals we could. Dilan and the driver pointed out to us most of the animals as we couldn't see them initially, while providing us with clear explanations once we got to take our pictures. We saw many crocodiles, unique birds, two group of deers, a tons of buffalos, varans, two lone elephants and then three together with the cutest baby elephant. And then lo and behold, there was a sighting of the infamous leopard ! Dilan and the driver did their best to get us a spot so we could admire the majestic creature ! Definitely the highlight of our trip. Dilan made sure to bring plenty of tasty home-mande sandwiches for breakfast as we had to leave early. We then got back to our van which took us to the front door of our guest house in Mirissa. A perfect experience without any hiccup. Thanks!

Fed tur med god guide Fed tur rundt i Yala national park. Vi havde en super guide og en god chauffør, der sørgede for vi havde en fantastisk tur. Vi så både Leoparder, bjørne og elefanter. Alt i alt en super oplevelse

Incredible day in Yala National Park We were lucky to join Dilan on a guided tour through Yala National Park. At first we thought there was way too many cars surrounding the first few animals. But then we went further into the park and away from all the other cars where we saw for example leopards, elephants and then we were very lucky to see a sloth bear. We can highly recommend Dilan as a guide, extremely kind and caretaking, and also the chauffeur for taking us on a real safari and not just chasing around what some other cars maybe saw. We had a really good day seeing the beautiful park and its inhabitants.????

I can highly recommend the Ella day tour with 4rest Lanka Tours! Dilan safely guided me through Ella Rock, Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arch Bridge. He responded promptly to my emails, is very reliable and communicative. He was well prepared for the trip and told some interesting historical facts and details on the visited placed as well. We were not rushing, but gave me time to hike at my own pace. It was really a lovely day!

We had the most amazing tour with Dilan last year! We booked 2 tours with him - one for an elephant safari at the Udawalawe national park, and then the next day for a waterfall hike. He was so knowledgable, and so accommodating to tailor the tours to what we were interested in seeing more of. He also surprised us with a 2nd secret, hidden waterfall and pulled out packed lunches his mother had made for us :) It was a very special few days we spent with Dilan understanding more about the Sri Lankan culture and history, and the beauty of the country. We will never forget it, and we'd recommend Dilan and 4rest Lanka Tours to anyone going to Sri Lanka!

I spent a wonderful day hiking in Horton Plains with Dilan. He is the most kind guide and host you can get. Dilan has also a good knowledge of Sri Lankan history and nature. Highly recommended.

I booked the x6 waterfalls and had Dilan txt me the night before to confirm everything. He even added in a trip to lipton tea and a buddha statue which was not on the itenerary to which I couldnt say no to. He picked me up on his motorbike as it was faster and easier to travel to all the spots and I agreed as Ive done it before around Asia ans i enjoy the fresh breeze. Went to the newly built buddha statue on Ellas hill top with awsome biews of the city then went to Lipton tea. It was amazing views EVERYWHERE we rode. Then came all the waterfalls which I captured many awsome pics. Dilun was awsome and kind and reliable. Highly reccomend to fellow travellers, he wont dissapoint.

One of my friends recommended I go on a tour with Dilan and I’m so happy that I did. I was only in Ella for one full day, but because of Dilan I felt like I was able to see so much! We woke up early in the morning and throughout the day hiked 2 mountains and saw the Nine Arch Bridge. Dilan was very helpful and incredibly informative. I learned so much, was able to go slightly off the beaten path, and felt very safe all throughout. He is very accommodating and flexible to what you want to do/see. I highly recommend going with him!

4rest Lanka Tours and Dilan provided us with a great experience. We didnt have alot of time in Ella and thought a tour would help us ensure we saw all the sights. We didnt expect to much when we signed up, but ended up having an amazing 10 hour, personal, and private experience. The trip started with a call from Dilan to discuss our interests. Once he had a firm understanding of what we were looking for, he than mapped out a lovely day for us. Our tour included all the must sees, but also had an amazing breakfast with a beautiful view as well as some hiking. We were very happy that 4Rest was flexible and open to customizing the tour to our liking. In addition Dilan is very good company, and also takes wonderful pictures. He ensured all the beautiful moments were properly captured.

We thoroughly enjoyed an almost day-long adventure tour with our very knowledgeable guide Dilan (Ella Rock, Adam’s Peak, and 9 Arch Bridge). He picked us up from our homestay for an early start to Ella Rock. We walked along the tracks for a bit, before starting an invigorating ascent towards the Rock. Dilan knew the trails very well and expertly (and safely) guided us to the top while giving us insight into some of the environmental issues as well while adding some personal stories to the mix. We had to catch a late breakfast at our homestay after our hike, and Dilan was accommodating and even found us a shortcut to our homestay so we could make it on time. After breakfast, we headed to the 9 Arch bridge, where we were able to watch the train from a great vantage point. Dilan gave us some interesting history of the bridge and the man behind the arch design. After a quick break, we continued on to Adam’s peak for another hike (a little less strenuous than Ella rock). At the end, we were quite pleasantly tired from the days activities, and we stopped for a late lunch before the end our the tour. Dilan also gave us some tips on other interesting places to visit and what to look for. Thanks Dilan!

I had Dilan plan a tour of Lipton Seat tea plantation for a day. The entire experience was great. Dilan is incredibly friendly it's clear he genuinely enjoys being a guide. He's dependable and I appreciate that he was communicative throughout the entire booking process compared to other companies who took days to respond.

My tour with Dilan was thoroughly enjoyable. He is very genuine, friendly and accommodative of the pace and what I wanted to see most in the tour. Not only was he great company (me being a solo traveller), on our walk through the train tracks and up little Adam's peak, he was also accommodative of my wishlist to ride the train for a train stop between demodara and ella station, and patient of me stopping to take photos. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
