We had two dogs being boarded at this facility. They were attacked by a large aggressive dog. My dog died from the attack and my mother’s dog was seriously injured. We were never fully compensated for the situation and still have not recovered from this traumatic experience. Our dogs are family to us.
If you love your dog, PLEASE FIND ANOTHER FACILITY.
I had good experiences her a couple times before. this time when I picked up my dog he was wet from head to toe and smelled like urine. He was in serious destress. In the car ride home he left fecal stains all over. He still smells horrible after a shampoo and rinse. He normalkt likes the hose rinses but today he snapped at and was clearly agitated by sight of the hose.
We took our large senior dog here recently and it went well. He was a bit anxious dropping him off and anxious and not himself for a few days once home but it was his first time ever boarding at age 11. We liked that he doesn’t interact with other dogs bc he has no interest at his age. The indoor outdoor runs are nice for him because he can go out whenever he needs to and doesn’t need to wait to be let out. I would return here but not over summer bc I don’t see how they can keep the place cool when it’s that hot. Was a bit toasty when we toured the facility in spring even.
My dogs get a lot of fresh air and exercise alternating with rest periods. It is not like other day cars unknown to owners who take too many dogs and warehouse them in cages for hrs till they have enough room & time in a yard for same sized dogs can get into the yard . And the dogs have to also endure chronic barking sensory overload while they wait in the crates. And customers pay expensive prices not realizing most of the day your dog is in a crate. There is one on silverado ranch that does this. But VIP keeps them out more than in. They do a great job
This is a safe place for your fur babies ! We have left my dogs with V.I.P about 6 times and each time I have always felt my Widow & Oatie were in great care. V.I.P is also not scared of my Pit Widow which is such a bonus because other boarding places don’t take him. Thank you to the staff for being so great and welcoming !!Here is a photo of my babies, they stay together when we board them.
Took my beloved furry family member here for grooming. We all (pet included) had a great experience! Now I see why they are called A-VIP Pet Resort. Highly recommend!!

They handle my difficult dog so well, I can actually enjoy vacation knowing he's in good hands❤️ the runs are very spacious compared to other facilities and they accommodate his bratty behavior not liking some dogs so well, they always make a space he's comfortable in

Our four year old puppy DIED while at this horrible place. All we were told is that he was playing outside, fell over and died. This puppy was in perfect health, young and with no pre-existing conditions or symptoms. No details have been provided about where his body was taken, we have not been given his ashes even though it’s been almost two months. On top of all this, they charged us full price and didn’t return our dog’s leashes.
NEWER trust these people with your pets. Two weeks ago animal control was there investigating them on several other charges. You can read about it online. This place needs to be closed and they need to be held accountable for neglect and negligence.
I have been negligent in reviewing A VIP Pet Resort. I have brought several dogs to this facility monthly for well over a decade for boarding and grooming. What I witnessed at check in is dogs urinating on the floor prior to being handed off to A VIP staff and the pet owner just walking away. I myself would be embarrassed and ask for cleaning supplies to clean up after my dog. A VIP has treated my dogs great every time, however unlike the others bashing the facility my dogs have been ready for their boarding and grooming experience.
My senior dog has always been well cared for at this "pet hotel". Very patient and understanding with dog's anxiety and socialization issues. My dog actually looks happy when I drop him off
