Neal was quick to come fix our broken garage door spring and offered good advice to increase the longevity of our door. 5-star customer service and very fair cost. Would recommend this company to any and all who are in need of garage door repair in the area.

I called them to come look at my garage door that wasn't working, they came out within an hour, and made the repair. They were efficient and did a great job.

All Area Overhead Garage Door Repair was better than I could have hoped for. I bought a new opener at Lowe's and was planning on (and dreading) installing it myself. But Lowe's offered a very reasonable installation service (through Angi) so I thought I would take a chance. I'm so glad I did! Daniel showed up early, had the job done in an hour, and had excellent communication skills. I keep an A-list of preferred contractors and when it comes to overhead garage door repair, they will be my go-to company for this service. If you're looking for a good repair service for your garage door, look no further because these folks are it.

Neal was prompt in responding to my request for a quote and scheduling installation of my new garage door. He even came out to manually open the damaged/broken door, to get my vehicle out of the garage, while I was waiting for the new door to be installed. He and Christina were very efficient with the installation and hauled off the old door. Christina came out with paint samples, to help match the new door with our existing second garage door, that was not being replaced. They were very competitively priced and a pleasure to work with. Communication with them was easy. Thank you.

I was impressed with Neal and Christina's professionalism as well as their dedication to providing exceptional service. They replaced my 2-car garage door and I have to admit I was impressed with the quality of the materials. It's definitely alot smoother and quieter now due to the high quality of materials they used. All in all I don't think anyone can beat their quality and value!

I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge the excellent work of Neal and Christina. They are people who do an excellent job for a fair price. My only complaint. And this is a spoiler alert. Neal is a San Francisco 49ers fan but I will try not to hold that against him. Sorry Neal I couldn't resist. But in all seriousness these are two of the best people you were ever meet. I was having issues and contacted the company that initially installed the garage opener and they did not communicate well and even told me they would be at my house to check things out and never showed. I called around and got 2 estimates with both companies attributing the issue to the spring on the garage door. Finally, Neal stopped by and assured me that the spring was not the issue and told me what the issue was and offered his services (with a fair estimate) to fix. Neal was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He came by and knocked out the repair and saved me an insane amount of money considering that two other companies were trying to get over on me. Great service all around

My garage door wasn't working because the cables were tangled and had to be removed from the door in order to close it. The technician came and rewound the cables and re-attached them to the door. He then proceeded to over tighten the springs without resetting the garage door opener and said he was finished. I reset the opener and could see that it was struggling. Called a different company out. It turns out that the cables were twisted and broken in places, in addition to the springs being over tightened. The technician had rewound damaged cables. Jerk!

Neal is the best! He replaced a broken spring in about 20 minutes and programmed my wireless door opener in about two minutes. Thank you Neal Peter Willard

I have been using this company for more than 10 years and I'm so satisfied with him. It is all about the service. These guys are fantastic. Every time I call them, they are there either that day or the next. Their pricing is totally fair, their quality is great and their service is outstanding. Last time they came out on a Saturday morning for a spring and found out it was just a cable. They swapped out the cable and didn't even charge me. On a Saturday morning!

I have used Neal and All Area Overhead Garage Door Repair many times in the past and just recently for a new garage door install. He is professional, efficient and friendly. I definitely recommend Neal and his company for the workmanship as well as the knowledge that comes with his many years of working in the industry. Neal & his wife really know their stuff and have great customer service skills! Responsive, helpful, and fun to talk to - I 100% recommend All Area Overhead for any of your garage door needs. We are new to Texas and just bought a house, and this company made our overall move-in easier. In the past, Neal fixed our garage door at a reasonable price, and his wife assisted me with some minor troubleshooting over the phone. Today, they even visited to connect our cars to the garage door opener!

Last week, I had one of my really old doors just cave in and get stuck while going down. The owner was out there in an hour to get the broken door un-caved and closed. He then offered me a discount on door replacement because I had to replace TWO doors to make it match. And he gave me a discount on automatic opener installation. He didn't charge me for the initial visit. The tech arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) and did what looks to me to be a great job within a couple of hours. The cherry on top - they accidentally undercharged me by 50 bucks, and when I tried to rectify that situation, they waved it off. All interactions were professional and down-to-earth. I've had some terrible customer service in recent years with various companies, so it was such a breath of fresh air to have these guys be as cool and professional as they were.

Neal with All Area has been to my home twice. Once to replace a broken torsion spring and another time to answer questions about fitting drywall around the garage door and opener. Quick to respond and patient with my questions. Honest and forthright. Can't ask for more than that.

I first talked to Christina at All Area when I could only open my garage door partially. Neal was able to come over that afternoon to give me an estimate (when other vendors had a 3-5 day wait). Turns out I needed a new garage door since mine was damaged, and my wife and I wanted as quieter door opener, since ours was 17 years old. I received what I thought was a fair estimate (I should have gotten more, but was in a hurry). Neal was able to come over for installation in a few days as soon as I purchased the new opener at a savings with his advice. He charged very little extra for installing the door opener. After installation the door looked great and the opener was very quiet and we were satisfied. Neal was friendly and helpful, and let us know several times how much he knew about garage doors. Then everything went south. On the bottom of my paid invoice, it states "Customer responsible to advise All Area Overhead Doors.....of any outstanding items, defects within one (1) working day of installation or invoice is considered due." Whereupon the following day the garage door would not close when we left for an errand. Neal talked me through it on the phone and then said "Let me know if you need anything else". That evening the same thing happened again but I went through the same previous procedure and could not get it to close when we were leaving for a Father's Day dinner. I called him and he said he too was at dinner and would "come over the next morning to fix it". When I asked him if I had to leave the garage door open all night his response was "I guess so". I told him I would adjust my dinner plans and then he said he would come over after dinner. Then I received a call from Christina who said they had an emergency and she was trying to get their son to come over to help us. But we didn't need him since my wife and son were able to close the garage door by a simple method that was never mentioned by Neal in the two times I talked with him on the phone. The next day Neal and Christina came over and fixed the door, but he was terse, obviously angry, and said little before leaving. I know he was upset about his emergency, but business owners should learn never to let their personal emotions interfere with customer relationships. He didn't even give me an explanation or tell me he was sorry for the misunderstanding, even though it has been almost two weeks since the incident. Overall, All Area is a small family-run business with two major flaws. 1) there are no back-up workers when Neal is not available, and 2) in spite of Neal's great knowledge about garage doors, he failed to mention a basic method (one person pulls on the emergency rope while another person pulls the door closed manually) for a customer to prevent leaving the garage door open all night. (Even the garage door manual does not mention that emergency solution.) For this reason, I will use another garage door company for any future repairs.
