Fact of the matter is when I submitted the request via email I was not even offered the chance to switch to another date. I learned that was a possibility until afterwards. And charging that amount for cancellation for just backspacing a spreadsheet when finalization of the trip and places hasn't even taken place and it is 5 months in advance is a very exorbitant charge. I was told that my feedback would be taken into consideration and I wasn't even reached out to talk about this. And I did mention this cancellation fee You didn't lose out on a single thing You rebooked with the full amount of cost and yet you are still penalizing the other person for having to cancel for a hardship. But have a good day.

I recently had the pleasure of joining the Fall in Smokies photo tour with Action Photo Tours this past October, and I was absolutely blown away. This was only my second photo tour and my first with Action Photo, and it exceeded all expectations. Roger, with his incredible photographic expertise and deep knowledge of the Smokies, made this tour an unforgettable experience. His understanding of the area allowed us access to breathtaking locations that we likely wouldn’t have discovered on our own. His guidance ensured we were always in the right place at the right time to capture stunning shots. Kevin was equally amazing, offering invaluable insights into photography and advanced Lightroom techniques. His approach was both inspiring and practical, giving me tools to elevate my photography to the next level. It felt like I was growing as a photographer with every session. The camaraderie with the other seven participants was another highlight of the tour. Being surrounded by equally passionate (if not more enthusiastic!) photographers created an atmosphere that was both inspiring and motivating. The exchange of ideas, encouragement, and shared excitement added a whole new dimension to the experience. Action Photo Tours has set a very high bar, and I can't wait to join another adventure with them. If you’re looking for a photo tour that combines expert guidance, stunning locations, and a supportive community, this is it. Highly recommended!

My husband and I participated in a tour and it was top notch. I can’t say enough good things about the leaders Wendy and Sarah. They took us to excellent locations and were awesome at being able to accommodate different experience and skill levels. They had a wealth of knowledge and experience and we appreciated the flexibility of the schedule and their attentiveness to everyone’s expectations and requests . I learned so much from them and had an amazing experience . would go again in a heartbeat

Second trip with Acton photography. Very well organized, excellent photographic opportunities. Both windy and Ryan were very attentive to everyone’s needs, made sure we all had an opportunity to get wonderful shots and had a fun time. I have already signed up for another workshop.

Had a great trip to Nova Scotia with Action Photo Tours. Kevin and Shane were great instructors and always right there to help us when we were out shooting. Would definitely go again with Action Photo Tours.

This was my fourth trip with Action Photo Tours. This one was focused on drone photography in the St. George and Kanab area of Utah. Very well run/organized tour with knowledgeable and personal photo guides including drone operation. Obtained many great, unique images. Also, we slipped in a Milky Way shoot.

Terrific workshop with helpful, knowledgeable guides. We went to some beautiful, uncrowded places and got some amazing shots. And the post-processing sessions were super helpful. Highly recommended!

My second tour with these folks, both of which were very good. Well planned and led by wonderful people. Would do so again.

This past month I was on both my 4th and 5th Action Photo Tour workshops. I will continue to return. Action Photo Tours consistently offers great locations combined with great instructors. They're knowledgeable, offer great support and can get photographers to both classic and overlooked photographic sites. Their workshops are well run and tailor the sites to both the workshop topic, the weather and (depending on circumstances) groups interests. Such was the case on a recent drone workshop where the leader added in a night Milky Way shoot for those interested. Every instructor I've had over the 5 workshops I've attended has done an exceptional job. Keep up the good work.

What an amazing 4 days! I learned a lot about storm chasing and taking photos of storms. I will definitely be taking more workshops from David Swindler and the Action Photo Tours!
