Dr Kim and her staff have been absolutely wonderful. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 2 years ago at age 35 and struggled to find a medicine combo that worked. I live with daily pain, especially in my back and feet. Acupuncture has been a game changer! Over the past 3 months, my pain levels have lowered little by little. I'm not entirely pain free yet, but I'm so much closer than I was. Thank you Acupuncture of West Florida!

I was skeptical of going to an acupuncturist but I didn't want to mask my neuropathy any more with medication's. It was getting worse. I stopped the meds to see how bad it really was. Could I save what nerve was left? Could I help the nerves recover? These were my questions. Dr. Kim was compassionate regarding the reality of neuropathy. Dr. Kim was honest about the need for an intense therapy which involved being seen three times a month for two months and then two times a month until I am finally at one time a week to treat my bilateral foot neuropathy. The commitment I made to this treatment to give my nerves a chance to recover has given me marked improvement with the symptoms of severe burning, tingling up my ankle to the calf and the leathery feeling that affected my balance. Having been to the office so many times I speak from experience that Dr. Kim is straightforward,, knowledgeable and confident in her approach. She adjusts to the individual's body and how they respond to her treatment. I must also include her team. They are empathetic, have a soft touch and are very hands-on with the treatment. I feel that all in the office have contributed to the improvement I have had in my journey to help my nerves recover a little and reduce my symptoms of neuropathy without medications!

Dr. Kim is very professional, calming any fears, & answering questions. The staff is diligent and cares for the patients' needs. Office ambiance very comfortable and pleasant.

In excruciating pain and desperate for relief, I Googled acupuncture near me. Acupuncture of West Florida had amazing reviews, and some even described my current debilitating symptoms. I made my appointment and prayed that this was the right path to choose. I have a reverse curve in my neck, and during the last 10 days, my 2 protruding neck vertebrae were causing me agonizing pain, bruised to the touch which were causing constant migraines. I’ve had this situation for years but NEVER to this extent. I also have a history of lower herniated disks in my back I was a real mess and freaking out. I arrived for my first acupuncture appointment and was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and smile. After explaining my pain, restricting movement and history, Dr Kim asked me a serious of questions and LISTENED TO ME!! Now came my first treatment🙏🏻🤞🏻It was AWESOME!! The specific areas were targeted and the results were INCREDIBLE!!! I had been given the gift of HOPE!! Even after only 1 session! I felt a relief of spasms and pain. It was instant!! Upon my 2nd appointment, I had 95% less bruised feeling in my neck, and my lower back pain was bearable. My 3rd appointment wasn’t until after the weekend. I stupidly battled some much needed yard cleanup, and worked way too hard for my current situation. I woke up on Sunday, nervous, and skeptical of what I was going to feel. I FELT GOOOD!! I could definitely tell that I had done some physical labor, but nothing to the effect of unexplainable pain and despair. I had my gift of HOPE still, and it wasn’t a fluke!! I couldn’t wait to tell Dr Kim and her amazing staff. I’ve now had 4 sessions and am so wanting to yell from the top of the mountain, that recovery IS possible and life IS doable again. Everyone at this location is warm, kind and always smiling. When dealing with the public, AND when they’re in pain, can’t be easy, but the positive energy and tranquil environment is exactly what I needed and am so grateful for my many TODAYS ahead. I had horrible, itchy hives all over and regular docs, dermatologists, no one had helped for months (except for prednisone). I was taking six showers a day to keep the itching down. A friend suggested acupuncture, and she said that it was the only thing that worked for her hives. Dr. Kim helped me out immediately! Within two sessions I was no longer itching and had gone from six showers a day down to two! I love her beautiful office and the restful feeling her treatment rooms evoke. All of the staff at Acupuncture of West Florida are delightful! I live in Plant City, an hour away, but the drive to see Dr. Kim is well worth it!

Recently I’ve been diagnosed with sciatica - couldn’t walk, couldn’t stand, couldn’t even lie down. Various treatments, including steroids, didn’t work, pain was excruciating. However, just after few sessions of acupuncture at Dr. Kim’s office I stared feeling better and better, finally, just after 10 sessions, all symptoms were completely gone. This is what I call a miracle!

Came to get treatment for pain, not only did they (all the employees) treat me with kindness and respect but Dr. Kim worked with me over multiple sessions to first get the inflammation down and then to treat the pain. Well worth the time and money. Great attitudes and attention to detail 10/10 would recommend.

Dr Kim helped my wife tremendously throughout the first trimester of her third pregnancy. She was being treated four times a week for nausea and headache. At the beginning of her treatment, she was reading her nausea at an eight every day and by week number three it was down to a five, and by week number six it was down to a three. The headaches went away completely just after a few treatments for that specific symptom. She is now continuing her treatment plan for nausea as well as adding some support for her energy levels as she goes into her second trimester.

Dr Kim cured my “incurable food allergy”. After seeing doctors and allergists and receiving little to no help, I reached out to Dr Kim about my allergy. She was certain that she could help me make it a thing of the past. She did not let me down! Dr Kim worked her magic and I’m all healed. Dr Kim and her amazing staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Acupuncture of West Florida is AMAZING! From the moment you walk in you feel the warmth and kindness. The place is clean and beautiful but more important is the people that work there. Dr. Kim is one of a kind she makes you feel so comfortable and she’s very knowledgeable. My daughter is going to her and Dr. Kim has helped her so much and I don’t know how I can ever repay or thank her enough. And right when you walk in you are greeted by the Clinic Director “Lori” she is the sweetest person she will help you with anything you need, can’t thank her enough either she goes above and beyond. To add to this amazing experience there’s Teresa, Patty and Gabe which are the Techs that do everything you are in great hands with them and again they are kind and caring. I hope Dr. Kim will notice them for their hard work. What I like most of all is the caring attitude of everyone. After one week we felt so comfortable it’s like a big family. I have never seen a Dr. more professional and caring as Dr. Kim. She also is very confident that she can help which says a lot. No one has been willing to help with my daughter I feel we have been blessed with Dr. Kim and her amazing staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
