Beware of Afterpay!!!!
Initially I my discrepancy was with a merchant that is hosted on Afterpays platform. I purchased goods through afterpay and paid off the “buy now, pay later” service of it few weeks later. I was 3 weeks after purchase, there were no shipping updates on my purchase, so I emailed merchant asking to cancel order, as I didn’t realize order would take this long to complete, along with me moving to new address and wanting to avoid forwarding packages. Merchant, still couldn’t provide any shipping updates and didn’t want to cancel order. I waited 2 more weeks, hoping for atleast an update on my order and still never got one. At this point, I am not happy with merchant as we are on 5-6 weeks later and no updates on my order, and due to poor communication, poor business practices, no updates on shipping, my only resolution is was to cancel my order and request refund. Merchant offered partial refund, I did not agree. At this point, I filed a dispute with Afterpay. The merchant contacted me gaslighting me, by mentioning he was going cancel and do a full refund until I did the dispute. Afterpay did an “investigation” and determined nothing wrong, which is a joke itself because merchant took pics of products that wasn’t even mine to seem like my order was ready. All Afterpay has done is try to pass the buck to the merchant. No accountability or responsibility for a merchant who is hosted on there platform. Still as of 12/16, I have not received product or shipping updates and purchase was made 11/1. At this point, I am very disappointed in Afterpay and how they handled this issue. I am a 100% permanently disabled veteran who does not deserve to be taken advantage of by merchant or Afterpay.

The worst. Do NOT use Afterpay. I returned an item and they continued to bill me. When I tried to communicate with them, I kept getting the run-around and its unacceptable. I called and was on hold for 45 minutes before I hung up. Awful customer service.

They don't correspond for solutions after emailing documents and doing random identification checks !!. Plus can't speak with Supervisor at the time it's the circles of no solutions to solving problems with Afterpay because emailing corresponding is not solving and talking to agents is useless

Afterpay has taken out money unauthorized on my account and its impossible to get it back they keep taking it out and also my roomate doesnt even have an account with them and he got 300 taken out his account from fraud. This company is horrible and extremely hard to talk to real person. Do not use it that rip people off

I used after pay religiously, then my husband became very ill and was in the hospital for over 4 weeks, 3 knee replacements at 33, when i tried to explain this hardship after repaying my debt i got the response that im declined from ever using afterpay again. Well thats ok, because if you dont understand hardship then i want no part of your horrid company! Wonder how terrible they treat there employees!

Awful. Made a claim for a fraudulent payment on my account. I found out it was from three years ago, as I logged in to try to use their service and saw a $900 balance that I owed. I complained to customer service that I never made that purchase. They sent me an email denying my claim!!!! The only option they gave me was to file a police report. So basically After pay enjoy abusing valuable resources ( local police) for something they can easily fix. Terrible business practice. Definitely not looking out for their customers. I will not be making payment and am prepared to take legal action if needed.

Bad customer service!!! Was approved for $700 I could do multiple orders. Never had a late payment tried to do multiple orders two days ago and was denied. Bad company to spend your money with. Do your customers better **********************!!n

Afterpay is a scam. The people that work there ahould be locked up. The people that work there refuse to follow up on any complaint or issue caused by Afterpay. Have an account with issues and i have no access to. This scam company Afterpay is refusing to assist me with gaining access or solving the issue.

NEW CUSTOMERS DO NOT SHOP WITH **********************!!!!. Got approved for $600. **** several sites to purchase items, and they denied every one. The purchases were literally between $32.00-$60.00 for $10.00-$24.00 every 2 weeks. The customer service is horrible and the fact that they have their phone lines disconnected is beyond crazy. They take ***** hours for a response through the app. -0/10

I used Afterpay to purchase a gift card which I sent to my daughter. Well they use Preeze and Preezee sent my daughter an email and did not include the code so I called both Afterpay and Preeze numerous times and nobody will assist. I was scammed and nobody cares. Beware Do NOT use afterpay to purchase ANY giftcards. Im sure Ibam not the only one who was SCAMMED. Shame on Afterpay for not doing anything!

I did like but now that they taking my money for a gift card with me not getting the merchandise. That is bad busy. They use a company named Prezzee. It was under $20. This was not much but I wonder how many other people are getting robbed. Afterpay will try to billed for the other 3 payments and I never received my merchandise. I want my money back! I agree with ******!

ive been using afterpay for many years. Due to spending a lot of money through them and having a long history I was able to reach a 2000+ spending limit (which took quite a long time) There was a miscommunication on my latest purchase, I was told it had been refunded so I didnt pay my installment for 4 days. Once I realized the refund didnt go through I paid it right away. Due to this they completely erased my spending limit that I took years to build and started me at 0. This is extremely disappointing because *** never missed a payment before and have been a loyal user of the app for years. Ive called and asked to at least raise my spending limit a little bit more but they were unwilling to help. Moral of the story dont waste years and money with afterpay. ****** is better and genuinely cares about there loyal customers.

I ordered a piano from ****** website. I contacted ****** and they confirmed they have no record of my order. Apparently, I ordered from a **** website called ***********. This is a scam website designed to look like ******. I emailed AfterPay explaining the situation. AfterPay keeps telling me to contact the merchant. The merchant details provided in AfterPay are for a company called *********, which is not ******. The phone number provided for TerraTrek in Afterpay is not in service. TerraTrek is not a realCompany. ****** doesnt even offer Afterpay! (Which I found out when I called them for order status). I will not be paying AfterPay for this order. Afterpay will have to take the loss.

I cannot get a hold of a person I had a payment of $7 my card got hacked had to stop payment got my new card put it in and tried to charge me $46 for $7 I think it's ridiculous cannot get a hold of anybody

After Pay deserves less than one star! The way their "loan" is set up is that if you return items, which I did directly with *********, the credit goes towards the balance w/ After Pay, but ********* doesn't have to do anything. I have no merchandise,, two shirts returned directly to *********, and ********* did NOTHING. I am out $183. How does this happen??? **************** on both parts was awful!!! I gave up and learned a very hard expensive ************** O

**************** is extremely poor. The App Follow up is not existent. Resolving an issue is nearly impossible. I made payments that cleared my they were never applied. Attempted to use the Apps features & submitted proof. It does not work even though the site encouraged submitting pics/screen shots. Afterpay has been a nightmare. This business should be closed permanently for lack of customer service.

After pay is very much full of it. Basically I am paying on an item that I returned back to the vendor --was credited from the vendor on my bank card and After pay is still making me pay on the item I returned the item within the week of the purchase date. They are a joke, will not use them Afterpay again. Sort of horrible experience...don't like the back and forth conversation via online with After pay. Very disappointed in them.
