Fast pace! Aldi is overall a good company to work for. I believe that in every job you will have obstacles and there may people that make the job a little harder than it has to be. As long as you are an individual that is positive and likes to work in a fast pace and very productive environment, this job is perfect for you.

Perfect for someone who needs to be kept busy Never a dull moment and always plenty to be doing and a great atmosphere. Hr and managers very approachable and understanding whether you're experienced or not I think ALDI was a fabulous place to work.I finished working with ALDI due to my own relocation.

Great staff, not enough communication The job is not complicated: help stock shelves, delegate employees to appropriate work areas throughout the day, help with rolling inventory and keep the store clean and tidy. The real difficulty in this job is that Aldi runs VERY lean and you will feel like you never have enough help. If you are a hard worker, you will love it here: there is always plenty to do, and the day goes by very quickly. If you are looking for a job where you can just coast, this place isn't for you. My location had a friendly, hard-working group of employees, but the group dynamics varies significantly between stores. There was a real lack of communication at every level of our store though, it was definitely an area that needed to be worked on. Overall, it's a physically demanding job, with normal retail working hours (including a lot of nights and weekends), a lot of customer interaction, and it pays better than most retail positions.

Warehouse distribution The Royal Palm Beach Distribution operates in a very fast-paced environment, often facing a shortage of machinery for selectors to use daily in the warehouse. There is a lack of organization on the floor, and the only staff present are the selectors and the supervisor; the manager rarely leaves the office to address any issues. Supervisors work under significant pressure and long hours without proper recognition, leading to various health concerns such as frequent illness, headaches, cardiovascular issues, circulation problems, and stress-related conditions. Furthermore, if you have previously been employed as a security officer, worked for less than eight months in a position, or mentioned a desire to try something different, you may be disqualified for the warehouse position. Pros: The floor supervisor is very helpful to the selectors. Sometimes there aren’t many hours to work, but most of the time there are plenty. However, working too many hours can lead to burnout. Cons: Working under pressure. there is often a lack of available machinery.

I think just going to jail would be a better option Work environment was very negative, management was not helpful and had extremely unrealistic expectations, they were unfair and gave advantages to favorites. They were unwilling to be flexible with scheduling. Once there was a broken pipe in the freezer room that covered everything in ice. This was extra hazardous and they forced us to continue working through it risking our safety. I would not recommend this job to anyone. Pros: Decent pay and yearly raises Cons: Unsafe, bad management, stressful, favoritism

boring same day everyday, long shift patterns and managers don't care. asked for proof if you're attending a funeral etc. seems like the end of the world if calling in sick.

High standards and understaffing but good pay It’s good when you have a good team. Managers expect a lot, especially in running load speeds so you have to work quickly but the job Isn’t that difficult. Understaffing is a big issue company wide so don’t expect much of a work life balance

Good Few hours but good environment, is a good job for a part time but if you want 40 hours every week this is not the place. But managers are good and work is not hard

Decent Pay for Constant Stress The ALDI work experience is characteristically multifaceted. Everyone is expected to do everything every day. The company benefits from skeleton crews and exploits them to their full and constant advantage. This job taught me a lot about resilience and working well with others, but the culture is what always transforms bright-eyed applicants into burned-out employees willing to take a pay cut in exchange for peace of mind and a good night’s sleep. Accountability is minimal across the board. The culture fosters a feeling of being a cut above the rest of the industry, which pushes you towards reaching their impractical ideals which are impossible to consistently healthily maintain. Cliques dominate. Local corporate management is deliberately disconnected from the day-to-day realities of the store, causing constant tension that seeps throughout the hierarchy. In short, the hardest parts of the job are unrealistic expectations and a toxic culture. The most enjoyable part of the job, for me, is the organizational aspect. Working to make the store look immaculate and then looking back on that work is immensely satisfying.
