I highly recommend Aloha Snorkel and Surf, and especially Jessica. We visit Maui every year, and renting from Aloha Snorkel and Surf has become like renting from family. Jessica is incredibly responsive, flexible, and goes out of her way to ensure all our needs are met. Next time, I’m definitely signing up for her surfing lessons!

Friendly service from Jessica, the owner. Prices were very reasonable and she had everything we were looking for (beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, boogie boards), plus a laminated map of the island showing places to surf, snorkel, dive, etc. We will definitely rent from Aloha Snorkel & Surf again.

This shop is amazing! So helpful and kind. We rented some surfboards and weren’t sure how to travel around the island with them. Jessica took the time to show us how to strap them to our vehicle and suggested places to try surfing as well as snorkeling. An amazing shop with friendly caring owners. Don’t rent from any other place. This is the best!

1. Prices here are unbeatable. don't go the that frog store, support local small business.
2. Jessica is amazing!
3. If you are novice surfer and like me you are on a bigger side (200+ lbs), take the 11 ft board. It's so much easier to paddle and catch local waves. You can always downsize later, but remember volume difference between 10 ft and 11 ft is huge (90 liters vs 120 liters). It's important for local beginners waves.

Great place! We rented some boards and chairs. Jessica is friendly and knowledgeable and happy to share insights about places to go and things to do around Maui. She even answered her phone and gave me some info on her day off. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best place to get rentals in Maui/ Kihei area. We stopped by this cute & local little shop from a friend's recommendation and we are so glad we did! Jessica is one of the nicest people we have ever met, she set us up with chairs and an umbrella for an amazing weekly rate. Not to mention Jessica has a plethora of information of Kihei and the island of Maui. Thank you for your amazing customer service, awesome beach rentals and helping make our first trip to Maui most memorable. Mahalo!

Most amazing experience renting equipment and surf lessons. Jessica was so kind and generous with sharing information -about snorkelling and everything Maui. We shared previous not so great surfing lesson experience and she set us up with the best possible surf lesson experience that we could imagine. Roque was a wonderful and fun surf instructor and not only ensured we got the waves but taught us how to catch our own waves. Raffa also gave great feedback and took such amazing drone footage of us surfing - memories which we will forever cherish. I would really highly recommend this surf experience as well as renting whatever equipment you need from Jessica!

Super easy rentals. We got some snorkel equipment at a very reasonable price. Plus they provided great tips on where to snorkel. I initially thought we’d need to book a snorkel tour on a boat but we loved the freedom to go at our own pace and check out different areas. If Aloha is convenient to you, then it’s a fantastic place to rent from!

Aloha Snorkel and Surf Company really helped me feel at home on Maui. Jessica greeted me with enthusiasm, rented me equipment quickly and easily, and even gave me some tips that helped me find my favorite all-time beach. As a woman traveling alone, I was happy to meet her and liked her so much I would have taken her along with me except that she had to work. If you want to receive and share true aloha, shop local! She was fantastic, incredibly kind and super knowledgeable. Set me and my family up with snorkel gear and kids with life vest and boogie board. Took our kids out to snorkel on the board. They will never forget swimming with turtles. This will be our first stop on our next trip back! Mahalo!

Great competitive prices from a locally run shop, convenient location and great suggestions. Friendly and attentive in outfitting our entire family and made great on point suggestions of snorkeling locations as well as other local recommendations that had nothing to do with our renting gear from them. Will be using again and recommending to family and friends traveling to Maui without a second thought.
