Dear Lionel, thank you for expressing an opinion, although it was very concise, about your stay at Altré. During your stay and at check-out we asked you if everything was OK and you always replied that everything was fine. But in reading your very low rating we feel so sorry that we were not able to fully meet your expectations of our guest house. We also regret that you did not take into consideration the free upgrade we were pleased to give you from the deluxe room you booked to the 27 square metre junior suite you stayed in. Reading the negative notes of your stay you mention ‘noisy neighbours’. Since we did not receive any reports during your stay and you had already left, you did not give us a chance to find out if and where there was a problem so that we could help you make your stay more comfortable. We thank you for giving us the opportunity to explain that we always take every report made during our guests' stay seriously. You also mention parking on the street as a negative point. Forgive us, but assuming that this information is clear even before booking, we do not understand what the downside of parking on the street is. Regarding breakfast (also clearly described before booking), we would like to know your detailed opinion, because unfortunately in your review you do not give any reference points either to us or to future guests who will book on Booking.com. We are delighted that you found our facility well-equipped and in impeccable condition, with a special mention for the daily cleaning and the abundant breakfast taken care of every day by Chiara herself. We really appreciate your comments regarding the heating of the evening meals and thank you for allowing us to explain once again that at Altré it is not possible to cook as the service provided is exclusively bed and breakfast. We are also pleased that you appreciated the proximity to the wonderful Basilica of San Simplicio and the sightseeing advice provided on our website.
