Volunteering at Amber Vet was incredibly beneficial and inspiring. It certainly helped to deepen my understanding of animal care. Observing Dr Choy and Dr Loon at work and seeing how dedicated they are to ensure they provide their patients with quality care, reinforced my passion for this field of work. The staff at Amber Vet were friendly and professional, they taught me various tasks which made my experience there more enriching. Thank you for letting me volunteer and help out at Amber Vet!

Had a pleasant time volunteering at Amber Vet. During my time here, I was delightfully greeted by the Dr. Loon, Dr. Sharon and the professional staff who made the whole experience enjoyable. I assisted with consultations, tending to pets as well as tidying up the facility, giving me more insight as to what to expect when becoming a veterinarian and running a clinic. The medical staff here also cherishes every animal that comes in, sacrificing hours of their own personal time for the health of the animals that require special medical attention. Do make a visit!

I'm 100% satisfied with the excellent care given by Dr Sharon, who sees both my senior 10 year old feisty aggressive tabby and my sweet 10 week old kitten-both for vaccination and general consult. She's very caring and patient especially with my senior cat who can be very challenging to handle-usually needs a team of people to hold him down for any injections and he tends to hiss, growl and bite in self-defense but she handled him with much ease. She's also very thorough in the questions that she asked and very patient with all the questions that a very anxious petowner, me, asks. I'm super grateful to have her as my cats' vet. The vet assistants are all very patient and caring so overall makes my vet visits generally less stressful.

I recently placed an order for an item on the online shop for this vet clinic. There was no indication that this item required a vet’s prescription or a vet consult prior to purchasing. After placing the order, I was informed that I would need a vet prescription to get the item. I decided to cancel the order immediately as I would prefer to purchase it from elsewhere. However, I was not given a full refund. They claimed that there was a “processing fee” which would be deducted from my refund. This processing fee is an unreasonable amount, given that this is an error on their part. It does not make sense for a customer to be penalized for their error, especially if the customer has no way of knowing about this requirement prior to purchasing. Additionally, given that the order cancellation was immediate, there was definitely no costs incurred in packing or delivering my order. I stated to them that there was a customer would know about the prescription requirement prior to purchasing. They were dismissive, and forcefully took the processing fee from my refund. They also brought up the Terms and Conditions, as if to point out that they could have deducted a larger amount (10% of the item cost) as a processing fee. Again, even if I had read the terms and conditions beforehand, I would have had no idea that this applied to my order. Because. IT WAS NOT STATED THAT IT IS A PRESCRIPTION ITEM. Following this, I have feedback-ed to them to indicate on the item’s page that it is a prescription item. At the point of writing, they have not updated it. Honestly, I feel like I fell for some sort of scam. And got scammed. In my mind none of this really makes sense to me. Why would a vet clinic be a scammer? I won’t buy and visit this vet next time. I guess that I should be thankful that I didn’t trust this vet with my dog’s life.

I go to amber cat vet for most of my cat visit. It is expensive but I do it for the love of my cat. The last visit, in particular made me realised that this vet may not be suited to handle senior cats. I remember how Dr Sharon a little rough while checking my senior cat of 20 years old as she tried to get it to open its mouth. I remember hearing a click as she tried to do so. In all honesty, I felt that this made my cat condition worse. She kept giving the option to euthanise my cat after. However, I remember clearly, prior to this visit I ask for consultation because I want to give my senior cat the best senior life. My senior cat was doing better before going to the vet and its condition begins to deteriorate after the visit. Up till today, I question Dr Sharon credibility as a vet. It took me a while to decide if I even should drop a review. After reading some of the honest review, I hope the rest would do the same before visiting this vet. It is with immense regret that I did not do so. The last experience with this vet is my worse and I hope you will not have the same experience I did with my senior cat.

My female cat just had spay in Amber Vet on 12 Oct and I will have to say Amber Vet provide good services and equipped with a great team of nice staffs and doctors. Like to specially thanks Dr Loon for doing a great job for performing the operation and making sure my cat is safe during the procedure. 👍🏻 Also thanks to Safder who has been consistently following up during the pre and post surgery, appreciated that. Thanks to the rest of the team whom I came across, for your assistant and help. Amber Vet provides a peace in mind for me and thanks once again. 👍🏻

had a positive experience at ambervet, tldr my pet had some dental issues and requires extraction. But amber vet offers more dental services, in this case they used a special treatment called synergy a synthetic bone graft powder that has a chance of regrowing bone loss and filling periodontal pockets. Hopefully all is well for my pet at least for the short term will have to do a review in 6 to 9 months, overall a good vet maybe slightly pricey but they have a niche which warrants the price. Do consider for a consult if you want a potential alternative to extractions.

Avoid at all costs. The medicines supplied for my dog were priced twice the retail price. The vet tried hard selling everything even when I told them I already have medicine for it - she continued to do tests. A price of ear infection cream is $30 and this clinic charged me $61. Avoid

After reading about some good reviews on Amber Vet Cat Clinic, and also being a Cat specialized clinic, I decided to give Amber Vet Cat Clinic a try when my cat was having some issues with her blood test and nosebleed. Although I stay at the West, and Amber Vet is located at the East, I figured that it's better that my cat sees a cat specialist vet. Upon seeing the blood test results that I have gotten from another clinic, Dr Brian Loon suggested an ultrasound scan and other tests. It was then we found out that my cat always had Polycystic Kidney Disease in the first place. He then suggested prescription kidney diet. Ever since the changed in diet, my cat energy levels have improved, and her nosebleed was recovering. This vet saved my precious cat's life! He has been very understanding and didn't rushed to procedures that may have a negative impact on my cat's health. And the staffs in the clinic have been very responsive and helpful to my questions in WhatsApp. I've gained constant information and help for my cat via WhatsApp even when I am not in the clinic. Although medical fees are a little higher compared to some other clinic, it's understandable as it's a clinic that specializes for cats. If health is a greater priority for your cats, this is a clinic you should go to and I recommend consulting with Dr Brian Loon.

This is probably one of the best vet clinics that we have visited so far. Our dogs (Boy boy & Girl girl) used to be under the care of Dr Emma and then Dr Loon after she left. When we first visited Amber Vet, we could see that our dogs are more comfortable with the place as compared to other clinics. That really speaks something which is why we didn't really mind travelling all the way from Bishan to Siglap for all the appointments or replenishment of medication over the years. The last few years were not easy for Boy boy & Girl girl but you guys really made it much easier for us. Now that Boy boy & Girl girl are on the other side of the rainbow bridge, we just want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Amber Vet especially Dr Loon, Dr Emma and Melissa for your great service and attentive care all the time! We wish you guys the best and will definitely recommend Amber Vet and Dr Loon to others. Thank you so much! Derrick & Emily

My dog was having a diarrhoea and repeated vomit throughout the night. And I was super worried and wanted her to receive medical attention the first thing in the morning. I reached Amber vet at 0910hr ( other vet was not available) knowing Amber vet only open at 0930hr. When the staff saw my dog and me outside the clinic, they promptly open the dogs and open the clinic ahead at 0910hr, and squeezed in to attend to my dog before the 1st appointment. The medical care they gave to my dog was superb, and I was grateful as I was taking half day leave to make sure my dog got the treatment she required. My dog is recovering well and I definitely recommend Amber Vet for their outstanding service and care to my pet.

Seems like this is a popular vet for cats. The vet was kind enough to slot us in midday although he was fully booked that day, grateful for his help.

We have been going to Amber Vet for many years, we totally trust the vets there especially Dr Loon - have brought in our canine for subsequent care after a "botched" surgery elsewhere, cannot express our heartfelt thanks enough!

My 18 year old dog, Silver has been seeing Dr Brian Loon for many years. I feel very assured and confident with Dr Loon's expertise. He always makes sure that Silver is not stressed whenever he goes for his 6-monthly thorough check-up. The staff at Amber Clinic are well trained and cheerful. This makes a lot of difference to pet owners and their pets.

I came to know of Amber Vet when my kitty Pearl was 6 weeks old. She is now 10 years old, and she has been going to Amber Vet. It has been a place where I can trust Pearl's health and well-being are cared for. Whether it's just a yearly check-up, vaccination, surgery, I feel peaceful leaving Pearl there. Special thanks to Dr Brian and Gabriel for going extra miles not just one but many occasions to attend to my requests. It's a place where trusts and friendships are also forged during these years. I have and will continue to recommend Dr Brian of Amber Vet to my friends who are paw-parents.

Please try to open on weekends as not many ppl can take leave during weekdays. Also if possible please let customers use the toilet.
