If you enjoy sending money into the void and receiving nothing in return, this is the shop for you! Ordered a Christmas present for a friend (yes, Christmas—that festive period that happened months ago), and despite my best efforts, it has yet to materialize. After weeks of radio silence, they finally responded, promising a refund… only to embark on an Olympic-level excuse marathon before ghosting me entirely. At this point, I have to assume the package was either: a) stolen by gnomes, b) swallowed by a sentient compost heap, or c) never actually sent in the first place. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere unless you enjoy being taken on an elaborate journey of disappointment.

Hi James, I’ve personally looked into this, and we didn’t have any outstanding shop orders to be refunded, replaced, or processed under the name James. This was unexpected, as our business has consistently received positive reviews. During busy periods, a small number of shop orders may have taken longer than expected. We always provided updates as soon as we received them from suppliers or third-party shipping companies. Occasionally, delays occurred due to supply chain issues, particularly with high-demand products during peak seasons, but we ensured all affected customers were kept informed. After reviewing our records again, we didn’t see any outstanding cases, particularly from the time period you mentioned. Additionally, we had no record of correspondence from you regarding this matter. If you believe this was still unresolved, we asked that you contact our main office directly at 01243 967958 or via an alternative email at studio@andystedmandesign.com. Occasionally, shop-related emails ended up in spam folders, so we wanted to ensure we had received any communication from you. Andy and his team provide a slick process from initial enquiry, in person meetings, concept design, 3D rendering and then a complete design with working drawings plus industry standard costings. All of this plus one of the team at the end of the phone for any last minute on site amendments. If you are considering a garden designer look no further.

AS Design created a transformative small garden design that gave me a lovely space to sit and relax or entertain in, which we didn't have before. The materials used were outstanding; the pavers created a spacious modern feel and contrasted beautifully with the corten steel raised planter and water feature, all bordered by a tasteful array of plants that have provided all season blooms. It is a modest size and I had a modest budget but AS Design worked patiently with me to accommodate this, and still delivered a wonderful garden proving they can cater for all size gardens and budgets. I now love my garden and I am so grateful for all their expertise and hard work. Thank you AS Design!

Andy Stedman is a unique Garden Designer with an abundance of panache & style! Andy has an impressive knowledge of plants & is an extremely creative Designer. My previously understated garden is now a profusion of architectural plants nestled around a gorgeous patio laid with large off white porcelain tiles. I’m especially thrilled also with the huge grey pots Andy acquired which are currently filled with Liberta - Grandiflora. They look spectacular! Andy is awesome & super to discuss garden ideas with! Andy did an amazing job designing our garden. He was professional, knowledgeable and designed a beautiful space in a medium sized city garden. With 3 growing children and a dog the area needed to be functional as well as beautiful. The space has been transformed and I would highly recommend Andy and his team.

Excellent design by ASD of the rear garden of our new build house on a Redrow housing development. The subsequent build was carried out by Harbour Landscapes, being one of two contractors well known to ASD. Although ASD did not directly manage the build project they were always ready to respond positively to any questions put to them by either ourselves or the contractor. It proved to be a real bonus to have both the designer and contractor working so closely to ensure that the project was completed to our satisfaction. ASD showed great professionalism throughout and we are both grateful and delighted with the result.

Andy come to see us for an initial design visit in September 2019, at this point, we were able to discuss ideas on how we could make the garden work for us. That is the key point for me, it had to work for us. We wanted a low maintenance, fun, sociable and stylish garden. Andy really listened to what we wanted - the initial drawings blew us away and we were sold on the ideas. We had a specific budget in mind, which Andy delivered on. In addition, the drawings included elements that could be added at a later date when more finances were available. We now have future plans for the garden so it can keep on developing, and give us even more enjoyment. The garden work was undertaken in October, not an ideal time for working outside - despite that, the team arrived every day, bright eyed and bushy tailed, always in good humour and keen to get started. They were professional, friendly, tidy and patient - we added on a few bits along the way! We now have a garden that truly is an extension of our house and one we can relax in, party in, work in and eat in....I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Andy has a great team around him, with all aspects of the highest quaility. The team competely re-built our garden to the exact design we agreed and asked for. Almost a year on the garden looks fantastic and has been a haven for us in 2020. Would recommend to everyone.
