Spectacular chateaux and wine with the perfect host! This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip, and Catherine was an absolute pleasure, so knowledgeable about the region, the wine and the history. She chose exquisite chateaux for our tastings/visits along with the perfect bistro for lunch in St. Emilion. We're still talking about this tour, and hope to visit again. A bientot!

Excellent tour - recommended Fantastic private tour. Hugo collected us from our hotel in a very comfortable car and provided plenty of water. We were driven around the outskirts of St Emilion where Hugo gave us a great insight into the many chateaux of the area and their owners and history. We then visited the village of St Emilion where Hugo gave us a very informative and enjoyable tour followed by lunch in a recommended restaurant. We visited three chateaux throughout the day, each providing us with a different guide and tastings. Hugo’s knowledge of the area, its history and its wines is extremely broad and we had a fascinating and fun day. Would thoroughly recommend!

Excellent Bacchus Tours in St Emilion Great day in St Emilion and tastings at 3 wineries. Great fun and conversation with both Catherine and Hugo, we were a small group of 4 but alll needs catered for plus a fantastic lunch.........amazing duck! :) You could see the relationship Catherine had with the respective wineries and guides so always felt we were getting great service and tours. As the group split due to participants travel deadlines, myself any my wife had the chance to walk around St Emilion village then travel back to Bordeaux with Hugo........very interesting and relaxing experience and what a car! Thanks again to Catherine and Hugo, and would highly recommend them as a preferred tour. Brendan & Leigh.

Fabulous day out in St Emillion with Bacchus Tours Such a wonderful day with Catherine. She was friendly and really knowledgeable about the area. We went to a fabulous selection of vineyards which were all very different but full of history. Amazing cellar tour at Franc Mayne with Veronique. Great Tour Company and hospitality Catherine is a very knowledgeable host and we had the pleasure of visiting 8 wineries over 2 days. She worked with us for a bespoke tour that was perfectly executed. We had a very good time everywhere we went. We enjoyed the Left Bank, Right Bank, a UNESCO World Heritage tour & all with splendid meals. She has many contacts in the area and we had an absolutely lovely visit everywhere we went. We were treated to such wonderful hospitality. We will be booking Catherine again! Merci

2 great tours in Medoc & Saint-Emillion region During our trip in France we spend some days in Bordeaux. I booked for 2 days a small group tour with Aquitaine Limousine/ Bacchus Tours. Both tours were excellent. The first day we went to the Médoc wine region with Hugo. We got a lot of information during the drive. We visited 3 different château including one very small. Every stop included tastings and someone from the the château told us all about it. We had some extra time before lunch so we also got to see Château Margaux from the outside. The second day we went with Catherine to the Saint-Emillion region and visited again 3 château. Just like day 1 it gives a lot of opportunity to taste the differences between them. We also had a walk through Saint-Emillion where Catherine treated us to Macarons de Saint-Émilion from Nadia Fermigier. We als visited Le Cloître des Cordeliers where we tasted some different Crémant de Bordeaux. Although I booked a small group tour we were the only 2 booked both days so it ended up being a private tour. The electric minivan was extremely comfortable. Lunch was on both days good and in local restaurants.

A Superb Day Visiting Chateaus in Bordeaux Arranging wine tasting in California is a bit different than in France! Our small group thought we should make the appointments online with the chateaus and hire a driver. We learned we did this backward and caused ourselves unnecessary work. So we contacted Aquitaine Limousine (which I later learned was part of Bacchus Tours). In any case, Catherine Caquelot came to our rescue and ensured we had a perfect day visiting the 2 Chateaus we originally made appointments with (Lagrange and Bechevelle). Catherine also arranged a third chateau visit to Phelan Segur plus an exceptional lunch at Le Saint Julien. Our driver/guide for the day was Hugo, who was very informative and personable. Lesson learned! I should have contacted Bacchus /Aquitaine Limousines from the beginning (make these arrangements EARLY) and allowed Bacchus to arrange the Château visits, as they have relationships with all of the Châteaux. In fact, they could have directed us to Châteaux we knew little about. Well, that's another reason to return to Bordeaux! But do yourself a favor and allow Bacchus/Aquitaine to make the arrangements. Again, our group was so pleased with our driver/guide Hugo. He accompanied us to our tastings/tours at the Chateaus. It was obvious the people leading our tours knew him and respected his knowledge and wine expertise. Our visits to the Chateaus was the highlight of our trip! Thank you

Best service Exceptional Travel Experience with Catherine in France Catherine is a true professional, making it an absolute pleasure to work and travel with her. Before our fabulous trip to France, I reached out to Catherine due to her numerous excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, and she certainly lived up to the hype. Our experience was exceptional. Catherine organized our days in Paris, Champagne, and Bordeaux seamlessly. Every detail, from transfers and hotel reservations to restaurant recommendations and tour guides, was meticulously handled. Catherine herself guided us through Bordeaux, Médoc, and Saint-Émilion, sharing her extensive knowledge and warm personality, making us feel like we were spending time with family in France. She curated visits to both small and well-known châteaux, and the wines at each were exceptional. Lunchtimes were a delightful treat of French cuisine, all thanks to her expert guidance. In the evenings, her recommendations of Michelin-starred restaurants in Saint-Émilion were not to be missed. Catherine’s dedication and expertise made our trip unforgettable. Tour of the Cognac Region Catherine provided us with a fabulous tour of the Cognac region during our short visit to Bordeaux. Her knowledge of the history of the area, along with her insights into the wine and cognac areas, made the trip magical. She also provided us with some thoughtful gifts to welcome us to her city. I would strongly recommend Bacchus Tours if you are in the Bordeaux or Cognac area, and want to learn more about the region and its products.

Book the private Car and Tour! Wonderful day! Highly recommend Bacchus private tour! Private car is the way to see St Emilion! We visited three wineries, had a wonderful lunch and walk through the village. Our driver was knowledgeable, very easy to spend a day with!

The best tour of Bordeaux! This was the most wonderful day of a private tour around Margaux. Catherine was a wonderful tour guide who went out of her way to make the day extra special. She is very informative and I learned so much about the area. The day consisted of two Chateau visits including lunch at one of them and then stopping at a wine shop to try a special bottle. It was fully customizable and the day had everything I was looking for (and more!) Thank you for the most special day!
