the team at Ashton worked with me throughout the process of selecting a spa, designing a natural stone patio, and installing both. They worked well with my other contractors and delivered the project on time, and were fair throughout with pricing. I would work with them again.

I am incredibly impressed by our experience with Ashton Pools. We shopped around for the right pool builder and a friend recommended we speak with Nicole at Ashton. She was outstanding to work with, leading us down all the right paths with our decisions. Kurt, who designed our concept for us did an outstanding job of bringing all we imagined to life through both drawings and a 3-D video. We felt like we really could see and not just imagine what our pool and patio would look like. And the truth is, it looks even better than what we saw. We had a great construction team led by our construction manager Lee who was so easy to work with. He was always friendly, understanding when we needed more information and was incredibly responsive. Keith was another one of the on-site managers and, like Lee, was great to work with. He was a constant during the process and we really felt well-taken care of by Keith. Mike also was on site quite often and was excellent. He had a great way of explaining things to us in ways that were easily understandable. Peter was our Pool School contact and was very thorough in his explanation of how we operate the pool equipment and keep all the the pool treatments in balance. Two other team members noteworthy are Danette who manages the outer office area and is the first person to greet you and hep guide you to the right people. She was new when we first began our relationship with Ashton, but you'd never know that she had just started. She's always friendly and knowledgeable. Last but not least is Brian. He was on site during certain phases, most notably when they dug the pool. It was at the beginning of the project and we had lots of questions that he always took time to answer. Overall, the experience was fantastic with Ashton. I highly recommend them as a top-notch and professional pool builder. You won't be sorry!

my experience wasn’t the best only due to the fact that i was waiting for weeks to be put on the books for them to come out and physically view the property but one day randomly i got an email from nicole saying that other ppl signed contracts and mentioned a crane out of no where and ended up saying “sorry but goodluck” basically. i’m not sure if it was my age that threw them off, the fact i’m a female handling everything or what but how nicole handled everything and how the zoom call went i was not impressed at all. will gladly take my money elsewhere!

Ashton Pools is by far the best pool cleaning business in the Rehoboth Beach area. We switched to them after a horrible experience with another company. They stepped in mid-summer to help us out and we are so grateful. Always responsive, always a great job servicing our pool, always detailed notes provided on what they did (with photos!). Jeff and Eric are two of the leads that do an exceptional job!

Amazing service by this terrific company. Although we've had our pool serviced by various local companies over the past ten years, no one has come close to the high quality performance of the Ashton team. Smart, committed, excellent communicators - they have it all. I would like to particularly call out the fine work of Eric Fernandez - who maintained our pool throughout the season - and Jeff Smith - who joined Eric in closing our pool for the season earlier this week. They're the best - and you can be certain that we'll be Ashton customers for a long time into the future. Although our pool is surrounded by trees, it was spotless throughout the summer thanks to their fine work. Again, they're simply the best. A+++++++

Ashton Pools is THE best pool and outdoor living construction company in the area! After being scammed by a prior pool contractor in March, Nicole reached out to see if/how they could help. Within 2 weeks, we were able to design the exact pool that we wanted all the way down to the custom bluestone coping, water features, and finish color. Nicole made the selections process easy and efficient!
The construction crew was respectful and courteous throughout the entire process, always willing to discuss the various stages of the project with me.
We were hoping to be swimming at some point this summer and somehow Ashton pulled it off! They started digging the first week of May and the pool was completed and filled on June 25th!

Our goal was to create a resort-like experience for our friends and family - and Ashton Pools by Design helped us do just that! We were impressed with the professionalism and service from the first meeting, when the first question was, "What's your lifestyle like?" rather than other contractors who first asked about our budget. Ashton demonstrated that they truly wanted to design and build something custom for us! What is amazing to me is that the final result is EXACTLY like the design we worked on with Ashton several weeks before the actual build began. That typically doesn't happen. However, since Ashton did their homework about what was and wasn't possible with our property, their design was spot on! And, they not only designed the pool, but the entire backyard area - landscaping, hardscape, fence, decks, hot-tub, pool, etc - full service! We are so happy we chose Ashton Pools to create our year-round slice of heaven to share with friends and family!

Ashton pools recently completed our backyard project, and WOW, we are thrilled with the result. The entire Ashton team has been phenomenal to work with, from our first meeting to the last piece of travertine laid. We were so impressed with the design phase and the magic worked by Maggie, partnership with our HOA to get plans approved, updates during construction and the responsiveness from Joe and Nicole throughout the project. The crew was top notch and took pride in their craftsmanship. They were also very mindful of our neighbors (we have a tight property line!). We are so happy with our decision to partner with Ashton Pools by Design and love our new outdoor space!

My wife and I hired Joe and Nicole to design and build our pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, patio and fire feature. They worked seamlessly with our custom home builder to make sure the project was completed on time and on budget. We cannot say enough about how great an experience we had with Ashton. Ashton's service after installation was also excellent, they always came back right away to fix any issues and have always been there to help when needed. We enjoyed working with both Joe and Nicole. We had an exceptional experience collaborating with Ashton Pools. Although there were initial challenges with permitting, once construction commenced, everything progressed seamlessly. The team captured our vision perfectly and delivered a design (and final product) that exceeded our expectations. Maggie played a pivotal role in navigating any necessary changes to adhere to permitting regulations. Throughout the construction phase, the team maintained impeccable standards, keeping the worksite clean and ensuring constant communication with us. Joe and Nicole were both delightful to work with, and we couldn't be happier with the final outcome.

We wish there were more stars. We are humble people. This pool was a lifelong dream, and something that we scrimped and saved for over years. We tried to do our homework, and we did get other estimates, but, at the end of the day, we went with our gut. Our gut said that Ashton was the real deal, an expert firm with a clear, transparent process, a locally owned company that we could trust.

Ashton handled everything for us - the design, the fencing, the landscaping, the pool cover, and of course the beautiful pool. They guided us through all of the product and color choices that have to be made, always showing us what was within our budget, never upselling us. When we walked in, they said that it would be two years before our pool was completed. Another company promised a pool in six months - but online reviews for that company indicated that customers had been left with a muddy hole after six months and were waiting for a completed pool more than two years after that. Ashton delivered our pool six months early. And, they told us we were just lucky with the weather. Their initial timeline had been accurate - they do not not under promise and over deliver - they deliver what they promise. That's how we experienced them: accurate, precise, accountable, reliable.

The finished product is gorgeous, and we will add pictures to this review. Our son in law is a contractor. He commented on the stone tile work, noting that it was done perfectly, and "that's not easy to do." He plans on getting the Buildertrend software for his own company, "because that really tells the customer that you are honest." The building inspector stopped by. He waved his clipboard, and said he would look at every item on his list, but that he would never find anything, because "Ashton is the best." Our neighbor, so close to our property, in a coastal community, commented that the workmen were so polite and quiet. He never heard a foul word or raised voice. Our neighbor is a priest!

Thank you Joe, Nicole, Carl, John, Maggie, Eber, Keith, Brian, Mike, Eddie, Omar, Nacho, Jeff, Eric, Ignacio, Brianne, Joani and anyone that we have accidently left out. We were so blessed to have found your company and cannot wait for the spring!

The best communication! We had a terrific experience with Ashton Pools. We've never had a pool before and were slightly wary of how complicated it might be. Nicole and Joe were fantastic, explained everything, came up with a great design for our tiny backyard, dealt with all the city regulations, were totally flexible when the construction of our home was delayed, plus they're super kind and fun people to deal with. It feels too rare in the construction industry to find a company like Ashton that communicates so well and does what they say when they say! Couldn't recommend them enough! (Plus the pool itself is fantastic! Can not wait for all the fun times and memories with friends and family!!!)
