My daughter was constantly sick, after 2 years of not getting diagnosed, she got diagnosed with Allergy at this clinic and since then she is like any other child. They changed our lives and we are always very thankful. Nice friendly staff and doctors. Very professional and helpful.

Really great doctors and staff! They stay up to date with the latest treatments: Dr. Kumar is absolutely wonderful interactions and helps educate me on the treatments we're doing and why the approach. The staff is super friendly (and they even get me a cup of coffee while waiting!)! My friend was having issues with previous her allergist and treatments were ineffective, and says it's a world of difference (much better) now that she's at Redwood City Family Asthma & Allergy Center!

I am so impressed with the care that I have received at Family Asthma and Allergy Center! I have suffered from seasonal allergies, food allergies, and eczema my whole life. I never truly understood the interconnection of all of these diseases until being seen at FAAC. They really spent the extra time to counsel and teach me on my conditions. I have gone to numerous dermatologists who always prescribed me a steroid cream and told me to stay away from fragrances for my eczema. I did not even know my seasonal allergies could be causing it! At FAAC they did the gold standard allergy skin testing on me and I was able to learn of all the different inhalants I was allergic to. I have also been taught how to better care for my skin. They also promptly completed prior authorizations for safer topical medications than the steroids I had been using on my face for years. I am now excited to say that I will be starting allergy shots at FAAC which will CURE my seasonal allergies and can help my eczema! I also recently completed office food challenges to tree nuts which I am now able to add into my diet after a lifetime of avoidance. Everyone at the Family Asthma and Allergy Center truly treats you like family. If you want to better understand your chronic conditions and get REAL help, don’t hesitate to make an appointment at FAAC. Dr. Kumar and Melissa (PA) are amazing providers that deeply care for their patients. I wish more providers were like them!

Fantastic clinic! In the two years since I started with them everything from the initial consultation to recurring allergy shot visits has gone like clockwork. The treatment has worked better than I expected and their charges are always reasonable. Dr. Tarun Kumar is thorough and kind, the office staff are prompt, courteous, and always in a good mood. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes after arrival to be seen. Overall, this is a perfect example of how a healthcare practice should be run. I've referred several people since I started there myself. If you are considering allergy treatments, don't think twice about visiting the Family Asthma & Allergy Center. As a bonus, the store down the street has amazing elotes! :)

Best asthma & allergy center in the Bay Area, hands down. I have severe allergies and chronic asthma that interferes with my day to day life especially during flare ups. I was in a pretty bad shape when I went to them. Dr. T. Kumar is Godsent. Highly experienced doctor who truly cares. He listens and also holds his patients accountable. Within 2 weeks, he was able to get me back to the baseline. I am under his treatment and feeling like a new person. I highly recommend Dr. Kumar to everyone who is struggling due to their allergies and asthma conditions. I am so grateful for the treatment from doctor Kumar and his team!

Kind and friendly staff. Thorough testing and drop in clinic for allergy shots. They make what could be a complicated process easy to fit into my schedule and I really appreciate it!

Horrible experience!!!!!!! I did allergy test - he told me if all negative, then i needed to get another test. Then all negative for the first one. I got the second test, still all negative. Later I got a bill which is $1200! NP OV + first test + second test. I called them to check on the bill as I was never communicated about the bill and was only told that it was covered by insurance. I refused to pay for the second test as I was not told about the price and that test left dark marks on my arms!!! The doctor said 'no, it was only one test not two tests' then later he admitted that 'two tests'. He lied about it and fooled me. 1. the doctor lied and was not honest, just wanted to get the bill done 2. the doctor never told me the second test could leave dark marks on my arms. STOP going to see this doctor and going to this Family Asthma & Allergy Center!!!!!!!

Your hours you are available are wonderful. The Doctors, nurses & staff are professional and very thorough. Hightly recommended to everyone who suffer allergies and asthma. Don't wait go see them.

I am so happy I found this place. Staff are so nice and friendly. So as Dr Kumar. He is so easy to talk to. He will listen to my concern patiently, explain everything clearly, gave me options and let me decide how I want to treat my seasonal allergies. I had some doctors who talk so fast to just throw all the information at me without listening to me. So I am so glad I came here.

We appreciated the family asthma and allergy center very much. We were anxious to look for an asthma test for my son. I called many clinics in the bay area and they cannot do this kind of test or they don't have appointment slot for him. FAAC replied us very quickly and they understood our urgency. The doctors and medical assistants were very professional and great. We highly recommend this center.

I can now hang out at my neighbor's house full of cats without my eyes watering and nose running thanks to the allergy shots I've been getting here!

Excellent staff and great service. Also, does this work? In a word YES! I had horrible seasonal allergies to pollen, dust, and cats. After 3mon of treatment the difference is already noticeable. In particular I took a trip to Boston in mid May last year and could not go outdoors unless I had my zyrtec anti-histamines. This year, no issues.

This is an awesome place to be treated for allergies. I love how quickly I can get in and out for injections. They also were able to work with me to continue treatment while spending significant amounts of time traveling out of the area. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to continue my allergy treatment. Everyone is really friendly and professional. They work with multiple insurance. The efficacy of the treatment is working well for me. MD and staff members have a lot of experience. In addition they are located in a good spot between two major freeways, 280 and 101.
