Pros: Was able to talk to a human in their Petaluma office within 24 hours. Pros: Technicians were nice guys. Pros: Sealed some obvious vent holes on the side of the house. Cons: Sealed the only crawlspace entrance to get under my house. Cons: Missed holes next to the main entrance into my garage. Cons: Created a water leak on a roof vent into my kitchen. Cons: Did not seal the garage side door where all of the mice were coming in from. Cons: Was double billed (later refunded). Cons: Had to send out a second technician to unseal the crawlspace door to get under my house and installed mesh wiring on holes the first technician missed on my garage. Cons: Did not send out a third technician to fix the side garage door gap/hole. Cons: Did not send out a fourth technician to fix the roof leak. Cons: I purchased the items on Amazon (door seal, metal plate) for about $50 to fix the areas the technicians missed for my garage side door myself. I don't understand what I paid for. My property is worse now than it was before the technicians came out. I paid over $1000 but the technicians did not address my main concern with mice coming in my garage. They completely missed sealing beneath the side garage door and two additional holes. Instead, they ended up bolting in this latchet that prevented my crawlspace door from fully opening to get under my house. The crawl space entrance was already sealed with a removable door but for some reason the technician installed latchets that prevented the sealed door from opening fully, thus preventing me from having access to the area. I also found some holes by my main garage door that they missed. After reporting the errors, ATCO did send out a second technician to unseal my crawl space. I also pointed out two holes next to my garage door that they missed. Nice guy and he did what I asked him to do. I received an additional bill that I had to call to get reversed. Weeks later, I realized that both technicians missed the main spot where mice were coming in my garage, the garage side door. I called ATCO and sent them photos of the door and the gaping gap between the concrete floor and the door. They informed me that this was not in the scope of the job and I would have to pay extra for them to come back out and examine the area and come up with a solution. I declined to have an additional bill and would attempt to fix the issue myself. I found a bottom door seal on Amazon for $50 and found a metal plate in my toolbox that I was able to drill to the bottom of my door to fix the issue myself (see photos). Weeks later when the rain started hitting the North Bay, I noticed a large water leak in my kitchen coming from my overhead fan vent above my stovetop. I went on my roof to find out what was causing his first time water leak into my kitchen. After quick examination, I could see that one of the technicians installed a wire mesh over the vent and bent to lid cover. So now water comes in from the side and drips down on my kitchen counter every time it rains (see photos). I called ATCO and again was told this was out of their scope and I would have to pay for an additional inspection and/or labor and parts to fix it. I declined. I enjoy supporting local businesses and I waited several months before deciding to post my review, but overall I am very disappointed in the service that ATCO provided and I cannot recommend them to anyone I know. I hope my honest review helps ATCO improve their business and helps potential customers make an informed decision.
