I have a complex voice disorder. For 11 years, I saw doctors, speech pathologists, and vocal coaches around the country who had no idea how to help me. Every word I spoke was a struggle. A few years ago, I found Dr. Whited, and that is one of the luckiest things to ever happen in my life. He’s performed three types of procedures on me to address different aspects of my disorder. The results of each procedure have been nothing short of miraculous. Dr. Whited has saved my career, and in many ways, my life. There are very few doctors in the United States experienced and skilled enough to handle serious vocal cord disorders. Dr. Whited is known to be the best in Texas (by far) and one of the top in the US overall. I wouldn’t wish a voice disorder on my worst enemy—anyone who has one knows what I mean. Thank you, Dr. Whited, for being the hero to those of us who need you most.

$350 for consultant with no insurance is absurd. I've called multiple different places and it's all around 100-200.

Dr. Whited is extremely kind and patient. Tracked me down to give me a cancer diagnosis and was detailed in his explanation, while retaining a positive outlook. Very thoughtful and supportive.

This was my first appointment with Dr Whited. He is wonderful and has great equipment to use! Staff all were great! I definitely will stick with him even though the location isn’t the best for me.

My mother has Alzheimer’s Dementia and Dr Whited was so understanding with her and was very detailed in explaining what is the next step

Dr Whited and Austin ENT are amazing. This doctor and this practice really know what they are doing. Dr. Whited especially is a vocal expert. He is amazing.

I was seen on time, the office staff were all kind and professional, and the diagnostic procedure went smoothly. Highly recommend.

Thorough diagnosis & proposed treatment

Friendly staff, Doctor clearly is brilliant, both diagnosed me quickly abd explained his diagnosis clearly. Made a recommendation for treatment and a 6 week plan for a follow up. I am very glad I went to him for a 2nd opinion. I absolutely trust this Dr with my voice, not something that is easy for any singer to do. A+++++

I have never felt so uncared for by any doctor or treated so disrespectfully as I was by Chad Whited. He was arrogant, dishonest in the way he talked to me and acted towards me. I had waited 2 months for an appointment with him but he tried to have PAs do everything. After I asked PAs if I were still going to see Dr Whited, I was then left waiting way beyond any reasonable amount of time. He finally came in complaining about why I was there. He said "I'm a surgeon" & said I was taking his time for things he doesn't deal with. I was there for swelling in my mouth (which he’d seen me for previously & said to come back if it didn’t heal) and ear congestion. Both seem in the realm of Ear-Nose-Throat practice. He complained about wearing gloves when asked to, saying they were dirtier than his hands. An uncaring and untrue response - or else why didn't he instruct his PA not to wear them when she examined me. Before I'd had a chance to fully discuss reasons I was there, he stood up, motioned with his hand for me to follow him (another demeaning action). I thought - to another exam room?? But it was into the hallway - to end my appointment. Embarrassing in the hallway for me to have to ask him about concerns that I hadn't even had a chance to bring up. I told him about the problem with my ears and he complained again - “why didn't you let the PA take care of that?" He walked away - never checking me. Then a different PA examined me & did a procedure - without Dr Whited ever having anything to do with it.

Dr. Whited was extremely nice and friendly. Easy to talk to and explained exactly what he was doing. Talked thru next steps and options thoroughly. Friendly and helpful office staff! Very positive atmosphere and on time with appointments!!

Wow! I've been dealing with this sinus problem for 76+ years, and didn't know until I went to Dr. Whited that I could get rid of it! Decades of wrestling with clogged up sinuses, trying to breathe through my nose, wrangling with different sleep positions was quite simply hell. After Dr. Whited performed a no problem surgery, I finally feel free! I can now breathe like a normal human being may. I feel so very grateful, and happy! Thank you Dr. Whited.
