We had a great experience hosting our neighborhood Chiefs watch party. Backyard Box Office KC was easy to work with, called with reminders and questions, showed up on time, and set up and cleaned up everything well. Despite some rain earlier in the day, we had decided to go ahead with our event, yet when it was time to set up, it began to rain more. I was impressed that Backyard Box Office KC offered to reschedule our event even though they were already at the location to set up. We will use them again next year for our 4th year with them!

Wow!! What an amazing experience Aaron with Backyard Box Office KC provided! The popcorn and snow cone attendees were on point! It was a perfect evening and I’m looking forward to booking again!

Very awesome setup and great service. They took care of movie night for our elementary school and would definitely recommend and use again.

I used Backyard Box Office for an outdoor movie night event in my subdivision and they were FANTASTIC! They showed up right on time and began setting up the screen and projector. I also rented a popcorn machine from them as well and it was setup and ready to go at the time that had been arranged. Prior to the beginning of the movie, they played music over the speakers which was much appreciated by myself and my guests as I was hosting a happy hour prior to the movie. After the movie ended, their crew did an excellent job of packing up their items and cleaning up the space. I would definitely recommend Backyard Box Office and will be using them next year as this event was a huge success!

I recently worked a birthday party with Mike. He was extremely professional, punctual and easy to work with! Would definitely recommend and love to work with him again!

I was lucky enough to Win an anniversary giveaway and had Backyard box office KC come out and set up a movie night with our loved ones. I was beyond blown away with how wonderful things went. It was so easy that night, the crew came out, got things set up and everything went smoothly. I stress a lot over a lot and this night was able to sit back and just enjoy the evening. Both of my kids had friends out and all of them have asked me when we can do this again. I absolutely loved everything about this night. I was invited a week later to another event hosted by a different company and the quality and sound were so terrible compared to what I experienced that my children (14 & 5) requested to leave. Thank you Backyard box office Kc for giving my kids such an incredible night!

We absolutely loved working with Michael and his team for our neighborhood event! It was the perfect set up - red carpet and all! They were able to provide popcorn, drinks and make everything run seamlessly. Highly recommend - the best in KC!

I would give 10 stars if I could, as I truly cannot recommend Michael and his amazing team at Backyard Box Office KC enough. We connected with Michael about hosting a movie night for our volunteers and staff at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, and he immediately responded to our request and scheduled a time for a site visit. From our first interaction, he was friendly, genuine, on time, and communicative without fail. He has immense knowledge about his industry & equipment and has an impressive arsenal of processes in place so that his team is ready for anything. We had to postpone our first date due to weather, and Michael was in communication with us the whole time we were working to reschedule. We even had a hiccup with our planned site the night of our rescheduled event, and he and his team pivoted their entire set-up process like it was nothing. As a person in the events industry, I cannot say enough about their unwaveringly calm demeanor and creative problem solving. The night of the event, they arrived with plenty of time to set up the screen, sound system, lights, and popcorn machine. Everything was set up on time and looked organized. The screen was bright and displayed the picture beautifully, and the sound system was top notch. Michael and his team worked tirelessly to make our event seamless so that our staff could enjoy the event as well, and they thought of every little thing. They were prepared for anything & the pinnacle of professionalism, and I cannot wait to work with them again!

Backyard Box Office was a fantastic partner in hosting a community-wide sports viewing event. The host (me!) does not know anything about technology and the owner walked me through every step along the way. In the end, it was not complicated as he brought fantastic generators! Michael and his team were incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind and really worked hard to make our event a success. I highly recommend this company!

The Backyard Box Office team delivered! Beyond our expectations! We were impressed with the professionalism and ease of the company providing a very enjoyable outdoor experience! We were very pleased with their ability to set up/dismantle, put together the screen image, preview, movie, and captions together accordingly per our request! Plus the viewing of the movie was amazingly clear and crisp! Especially with the parking lot lights on, it was outstanding! What a FUN experience! We will certainly use this company again and highly recommend this company for everyone. Top Notch!

Backyard Box Office KC is the best in the business. Their team is incredibly easy to work with, flexible (I work at a large site where things are prone to change) affordable, professional, and downright fun. The equipment provided is state of the art and they are able to adapt to changing weather conditions. I've only got good things to say about them and can't wait until next time!

Mike provided excellent and professional service both before and during our event. Booking was easy. Mike was friendly and my son and his friends had a wonderful evening. Mike’s stereo and projection equipment were awesome- perfect sound and picture. The popcorn machine was a huge hit with the kids! We highly recommend Mike and Backyard Box Office KC!!
