Great wellness-oriented experience
We went there for our honeymoon and had a great time. It feels like the hotel is all for yourselves, the villas have amazing views, the staff are always attentive and great at what they do and it’s an overall wonderful experience oriented towards wellness (from the food, to the massage and amenities).

This was my second stay here, and once again, everything was perfect from start to finish. From the warm welcome to the stunning room, breathtaking views, and exceptional breakfast—everything was 100/100. I can’t wait to return and will always recommend this incredible resort. Great people and an Amazing Village
Shout out to MUDRA, DIMAS and AYU(the skinny one at the restaurant) - they are the soul of Como Shambhala. The hotel itself is beautiful with 3 beautiful natural spring pool down the hill (need some hiking to get there). To be very honest, the specific Shambhala Suite we stayed needs some maintenance/renovation - there was bad smell coming out of the toilet constantly. But I’m still giving it 5-star solely because of the lovely people we met. Mudra really provided us with very personalized experience and helped us understand the locals’ life, the culture and history of the hotel. THANK YOU MUDRA! Ayu was so sweet and made me feel coming home for dinner (and breakfast) - she always remembered what food I’m sensitive to and was able to create special noodle soup that fitted my need! Dimas was our personal assistant and was very attentive to our needs. He always greeted us with his smile and open heart. Sinthia and Surna (sorry if I spell your name wrong) at front desk were also super sweet and helpful. Thank you all for making it a great experience for us:)

Amazing Love and Attention
This was a lovely time from start until the end. The service was beyond brilliant. As a guest you could just let everything go because your butler and al the others had totally control over the next step without "to much" .... just perfect balance including a lit of joy and love. The food was healthy and fantastic and really top of the line. We just love the hold area with beautiful nature around. You can not ask for more then this... absolut one of the best hotel ... or maby the best you can find. The rooms are very big and beautiful but need little but of love and attention but not a big thing. Over al lovely. We went on a great biketrip, dont miss that one and also booked the lovely ceremoni and a wonderful massage...just perfect!!! As you can here.... you cant miss wonderful hotel and take the chance to meet this lovely staff.. Most relaxing holiday experience we’ve ever had
Staying at Como Shambhala Estate was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. The entire estate, including the accommodation, the restaurants, the jungle surrounds, the wellness facilities, and the service is high quality and all designed with one objective: to make you feel relaxed. During our 4 night (5 day) stay we didn’t leave the estate; we didn’t need to. There’s a daily schedule of four activities from morning to afternoon that you can join in, or just do your own thing. We joined in the yoga, Pilates, meditation, and hydrotherapy classes. And in our own time we swam in the natural pools and our private residence pool, used the gym, read books in the ‘tea house’, walked the ‘estate walk’ through the jungle, had afternoon naps, and got massages and other spa treatments. Thanks to our personal assistant Dimas, he was so attentive and helpful and made our stay extra special.

Heaven for your mind, body & soul
Thank you to the lovely Budi, Kim, Yu Dian, Dimas and all the amazing staff that made our stay at Como Shambhala Estate an absolute dream. After our 3 day wellness path we left feeling revitalised and like a part of the Como family. Our only regret is not having stayed longer.

It's literally a dream! (I mean the staff!)

In all my global travels have i found this level of kind, caring, passionate, and this precise level of sophisticated service. They are simply magnificent. And the property is a dream. Absolutely Incredible -- Cannot Recommend Enough!!
My husband and I stayed at Como Shambhala Estate in Bali in September 2024, and it was one of the most transformative hotel experiences we've ever had. Como Shambhala Estate is the perfect mix of luxury, serenity, and cultural experiences. What We Loved: Serene Surroundings: The estate is tucked away amidst tropical jungle, it's so peaceful and secluded. The views and sounds of nature made it feel like we were in our own little paradise, a world away from New York City. Stunning Room: We stayed in our own pagoda, with a fully outdoor bathroom which was a unique experience. This was the epitome of having our own private retreat in the middle of the rainforest. Water Blessing: We took part in a traditional Hindu water blessing on the property, and it was a really special experience -- something we’ll definitely never forget. Amazing Staff: The entire Como Shambhala Team was were incredible, especially our guest assistant Tini. She made us feel like we were staying at a friend’s home; her warmth and hospitality were truly remarkable. Cultural Excursions: We had a great day exploring the neighboring Ubud rice terraces and Balinese temples. Our guide, Gede, was fantastic! He helped us understand so much about Balinese culture and history. The Como Shambhala Spa: Honestly, it's out of this world. We had a wellness consultation with Kim, who was incredibly helpful, and we tried acupuncture for the first time. Now, I’m hooked and still doing it back home in New York! Last but not least, the Food: phenomenal! Healthy, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We seriously can’t recommend Como Shambhala enough! It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and soak in everything Bali has to offer. We can’t wait to come back!

beauty - calm - chilled - perfection
Como - is beyond perfect. Overflowing with beauty and luxury..... Everything you imagine as the best of the best is here. We had the privilege of Ayu looking after us. She is literally a goddess. Perfection. Life is better when you get some time at COCO Shambhala

An outstanding experience
Perfect location, there was excellent service, the offers were exciting, lots of Things to do. At the same time absolute peace, you hardly notice that there are other guests. The personal assistants were very helpful and left nothing to be desired

A hotel like a ruin in the forest
A quiet hotel that seems to blend in with the vast jungle forest. It has a mystical atmosphere like ruins, a chic design that isn't flashy, and large grounds as far as the eye can see. Surprisingly, if you look for hotels in these conditions, you will find it difficult to find hotels in the world. This is my second time here, but it makes me feel like if I'm ever going to come to Ubud, it's just here. We shared one pool in four rooms, but rarely met other vacationers. The spring pool, which looks like a straight pool of spring water in the jungle, is also special. You can also use Self Rowling's dry sauna for free, and you can swim in the pool just outside, although there is no water bath. It's in the back so you can't hear any cars. Monkeys and birds can also come close to you to feel like you are in nature. We had a poolside lunch and prayer activity, and prayer is a very Recommendation. The hotel staff are all very kind. It is also convenient to communicate with Butler at Watts Up. The only regrettable point is that the rafting crowd was a bit loud near the river, the food was quite light, probably because of the health consciousness, and the light menu was a bit unsatisfactory. Everything else is perfect and I will definitely come again.

Wellness Sanctuary - Heaven on Earth
The Shambhala is a wellness sanctuary in the very spiritual and heart filled Bali. The immediate feel, the scent and service that you encounter when laying foot on the property simply puts you at ease and makes you want to slow down. I visited the estate on a solo trip but a friend joined me for a good chunk of it. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and regularly checked on us and asked us what we needed. You can either book just a room and have wellness services added on or (as my friend and I did it) choose a wellness path which is inclusive of high quality treatments - Ayurvedic or Chinese Medicine related - food and other things. I loved doing a path because it got much of what I wanted covered. It was extensive so I probably could have chosen one where there weren’t as many classes but because the instructors were all so good, it was actually beneficial to take those. My highlights were the lunch we had at the Kedara - a beautiful hike down through the property with stunning rainforest and temple vibes, the 90 min massage treatments, the cold plunge, hydro pool and just the freshest food and drinks you could imagine. Our personal concierge, Ayu, was just the best also. She helped coordinate so much and was very informative, professional and friendly. Would totally return to this piece of heaven on earth one day soon!

Great location, we stayed Villa V! With stunning forest views, outdoor hot jacuzzi infinity pool super super comfort room! Reception 🔝 throughout the stay followed us Dimas nice gentle sweet and made everything very simple I recommend it Highly recommended 🔝

Amazing wellness retreat stay!
Did a wellness retreat with a friend & had the BEST time! Great massages & treatments, beautiful surroundings, delicious plant-based food, nourishing activities. I really enjoyed the Balinese gratitude ceremony with Yu Dian & the biking through the village with Sumara. We also got a personal assistant to help us schedule our wellness program & Maha was also so lovely !

We can wait for everything good and good.
The Resort food is amazing, and the chefs are amazing and their respective employees are always ready for any special requests, ensuring that every meal is a delight. The cordiality and hospitality of the entire staff really stand out, making us feel well received and valued throughout our stay. A special mention should go to Ayu, our personal assistant, who was exceptional in meeting all our needs. His readiness to execute any request with a smile has made our experience even more memorable. Overall, the COMO Shambhala Estate provided an amazing experience for our family, and we can look forward to everything good and best.

the forest whispers
We booked a 3-room villa. the standards are top luxury. the staff is very kind and professional. the estate is so quiet, charming and inspiring. it was a mystic experience for both my body and soul. the atmosphere is relaxing and very cosy. the big positive surprise is the walk around the estate and mostly to the spring pools that are closed to the river and in the middle of the jungle/forest.
