Chris arranged diagnostic testing to identify an unusual problem on my car. When it was clear what needed to be done he contacted me and clearly explained what needed to be done and the cost before his team sorted out the issue efficiently. When I arrived to collect the car, Chris showed me the offending part which helped me to understand even more clearly what had been the problem. Thanks team great effort.

Excellent service from start to finish… I was left in a difficult position after I started experiencing misfires with my bmw that later turned out to be due to a particularly significant issue with the engine. I’d spoken to a few other bmw specialists garages about what it is I need and then found Bartlett Auto, they were completely upfront with their pricing before I decided to go with them and their availability to get my car in and start working on it straight away was exactly what I was looking for. Within a few hours of them having my car Chris gave me a call and then ran through exactly what was wrong with my car and how much I’d be looking at in terms of costs if I decided to go through with the repairs, and he also made me aware of some parts that he’d recommend I have replaced along with the repairs that were going to be done, making sure I was happy with it before giving the techs the green light to go ahead with replacing said parts. When the time came for me to eventually pick the car up, I finally had the opportunity to meet the man who’d kept me very well informed on everything throughout the process all via phone calls, Chris who for one last time went over all the work they had carried out on my car as well as things they had taken notice of while they were working on it. Now I had never used Bartlett Auto before and took a chance hoping they’d be a garage I would be happy to come back to and trust to work on my car. Now that I have had my car back for a few days I can confidently say that they over exceeded my expectations and I’d recommend them to anyone that is looking for great customer service and trustworthiness. Big shout out to Chris, great guy overall.

I recently took my car here for a health check, aiming to identify any issues that needed fixing. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. First and foremost, the mechanic failed to notice a critical issue: the 3rd and 4th gear synchros were completely non-functional. Identifying transmission problems is a fundamental part of any vehicle inspection, and missing such significant issues raises serious questions about the thoroughness of the evaluation provided. In addition to this, I did not receive any kind of report or documentation detailing the findings of the inspection. A written report is essential for keeping a record of the car's condition and ensuring transparency, and the absence of this documentation is highly unprofessional. I’ve since asked for this paperwork a second time but have yet to receive a response. Although the staff was friendly and accommodating in scheduling the appointment, the lack of attention to critical details and the failure to provide a report mean I cannot recommend their services. Pros: Friendly staff Prompt scheduling Cons: Missed critical transmission issues No inspection report provided Incomplete and unprofessional service Edit in response to the reply: Interesting comments, I was assured that you would do a full front to back check, fine tooth comb I think is the phase you used. I was also told that “we take all cars down the duel carriageway towards Morrisons” - So what is it? With regards to the items being on the invoice, none of the items that came up on your computer scan were listed here, there was a small hastily typed, button bashed list.

First time using Bartlett Automotive, took our G31 5 series in for a service. Staff were friendly, helpful and treated us with respect not to mention being £200 cheaper than the main dealer. Recommended

Bartlett Automotive were very polite and professional and made me feel valued and that I was in safe hands.
