It’s one of our favourite spots in south Goa. We come here every year and it’s really a special place. Very calm atmosphere here. A very special thanks to Rishikesh from the front desk for his hospitality and gentle smile. The staff here are gems ! For sure we would be back next year or maybe sooner !! Thanks for everything.

Surrounded by lush greenery, it’s a wonderful escape from the chaos of daily life. It’s also ideal for solo travelers – safe, secure, and offering plenty of opportunities for quiet reflection. A standout feature of Bhakti Kutir is the on-site Ayurveda center. I had the Shirodhara treatment there, and it was truly rejuvenating. The experience added an extra layer of relaxation to my stay and helped me feel completely refreshed. The vegetarian food is absolutely to die for – fresh, delicious, and nourishing. The service is excellent; the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Keep in mind, this isn’t a five-star luxury resort but a charming retreat, so don't expect high-end amenities – and that’s part of its appeal. One tip: don’t forget to bring mosquito repellents to fully enjoy your stay. Overall, Bhakti Kutir offers a tranquil, nature-filled experience with the bonus of Ayurvedic treatments. If you're looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway, especially as a solo traveler, this is the perfect choice!

IN general the location and jungle vibes is great! However the place needs more care and maintenance, I stayed in a bunk bedroom which with easy modifications could be arranged better, toilets were very dirty, I had to use the one near the restaurant.

Amazing spot - the whole property feels like a magical treehouse

This is very much a happy feeling, if you need peace and quiet. The bird sounds, happy people all around. The food is healthy.. I visited twenty years ago and the place has grown into more love. The staff are wonderful. Most Indian's are fond of air con, there are none, but the place is cool enough. love to all on the team.

Do you want some jungle experience? This is the place to get that. It’s very quiet and there is trees everywhere. The cottage is super pretty and chill with an outside seating area. The staff is soo friendly and funny and helpful. I really felt at home. The food in the restaurant is super delicious with lots of vegan options. Loved doing the yoga there, which they have everyday. Location is amazing.

If you are okay with no Ac in the goan hot and humid weather, then this is the place. It had rained when we were there ,there were a lot of frogs in the bathroom ,which is kind of not a comfortable and peaceful situation for taking bath without being concerned about frogs jumping on you from everywhere. The bathroom was dark , the rooms could have been a little more brighter with better lighting. Our rooms was on the first floor,the staff helped us carry our luggage when we checked in but when we were checking out it was quite a task to get our trolleys to the ground floor in the steep staircases they had , as all the staff had gone out for lunch. Would have stayed another day if these conditions were better.

There was a huge rat in our room and two frogs in bathroom...there were lots of flies and wasps too in the room...this is something that really need to be fixed...else everything is good

Good stay and ambience ..Non Ac but was good in the month of September.

Most beautiful hostel I've visited in India. I stayed in the 6-8 people dormitory. It only had 3 people for the time I stayed, everyone was super nice, the place was super beautiful, almost dream-like. They had amazing vegan food options every day, and although they were on the more expensive side of Indian food, I'd say it was worth every penny. The staff was really amazing and they all had a very warm aura and good vibes. I'll definitely come back to this place if I visit south Goa again in my life. Would absolutely recommend! 💜🙏🏻

For Nature's lover people, must go there Excellent property.

I stayed there for 7 days, first 4 days in one of their private rooms and last 3 days in their hostel. It's just 5 mins from Patnem beach by Tuktuk. The place is closely nestled in the lap of nature, with trees around, a little bit remote as it was supposed to be away from mad crowd. They've very cute dogs and cats and I chose their place because of this too, people are nice. They've good vegetarian restaurant. If you like this kinda vibe go spend some days there. And importantly they have amazing massage center, Aunty and uncle there is very sweet and knowledgeable.

The staff, the food, the service is EXCELLENT. While you have to deal with Mosquitos and there is a net bed to protect you while you sleep you're in nature. If you like being in nature and have a true experience stay here. If you need AC then this isn't the place for you.
