We ordered some items on line and took advantage of the £5 voucher if you spent over £25. My husband went into store today to collect the items and forgot to ask for the voucher ao he went back to ask to be told by the store manager Jackie that it was only valid until the 31st even though we placed the order on the 31st and online it states the voucher needs using between the 2nd -21st of September but she was extremely dismissive and rude to my husband and refused to give the voucher saying he was wrong. I called up customer services and spoke with a lovely man called Vince who confirmed we were right and we should have received the voucher and he said he would email it over. I decided to call the store as o wasn't happy with how my husband was spoken to and that he was having to go back for a 3rd time due to being given the wrong information. Jackie answered the phone and I have never experienced and I'm still shocked at the way I was spoken to, she was extremely rude, dismissive and would not let me talk. She said I will tell you the same as your husband you're wrong and not entitled to the voucher, when I told her I had spoken to customer service she demanded to find out who I had spoken to and that they were also wrong, I didn't have the name at the time and explained this but she screamed at me that I was wrong and so was the customer services, she then hung up on me. I tried to call back, the 1st time she answered but also hung up then wouldn't answer the phone again. I cannot believe a store manager felt it appropriate to first of all scream at a customer when I was simply asking her to stop talking over me and then to hang up when I told her she was wrong! I spend a lot of money in the Entertainer and do not appreciate being spoken to the way I was. If a manager cannot deal with a customer complaint calmly and professionally then they should not be in a managerial position. Below is the voucher which states orders have to be placed by the 31st and the voucher to be spent by the 21st September, the manager clearly had no understanding of how the promotion worked!
