Cozy spot with great service, great food! Not many places have a real wood fireplace, clutch during a cold snap like this. The menu is filled with great comfort food with a slightly middle eastern influence. Their Persian Noodle Soup is unique and super comforting, while the Rosemary Lime Sumac Chicken is never dry and always well portioned. Better than the food though, is the service. Jeannette in particular is wonderful, always friendly and anticipating our needs. While the food and atmosphere are great, she is what keeps us coming back!

10/10 Hidden Gem in Brooklyn Heights area. Wood burning fire inside, great food, great service. Hard to beat.

Good food by NYC standards, but the wood fireplace stands out. Especially on a cold winter day.

Me and my friends absolutely LOVE eating at Bijan after orchestra. The food and drinks are amazing - you must have a mezcal marg straight up - not on the menu. I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve ordered but love the chicken kebabs!! I also think the ambience is great and there is a sense of community and family when you enter. All of those things are great, but what is the absolute BEST is our server Jeanette. She always greets each of us by name, she remembers what we usually drink and eat along by memory with the additions that we always request and she does it with a smile. I would give her 5 ++++ but it’s not an option. She is incredibly kind and we miss her when she’s not there. Bijan is the best!!!💕💕💕

I have been coming to Bijan's with a group of friends pretty much once a week for a very long while now. Really enjoy the food, including the chicken burger and shrimp flat bread. Jeanette is usually our server and I have always been super impressed with her service, especially that she has remembered us from our very first visit and always makes us feel so welcome.

I have been to Bijan countless times with my orchestra pals after rehearsal. The food, ambiance and service are great. Jeannette, in particular, is a delight, always welcoming and attentive to our group. In fact, she remembers our names and what we like to drink! Highly recommended.

I had the the veggie Flatbread and the papperdelle which was one of the better ones I've tried in the city. I enjoyed the tunes that were playing but Jannette was more fun to listen to. As a server she recommended the veggie options and made me laugh. Will come back again

I really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant, the food was really delicious. Not intimidating at all, very casual. Server was super friendly

I have been here many times and love the food and atmosphere, but had a really bad experience with Jeanette (waitress) last night.. I understand with the holidays it is very busy, especially for the food service industry, it can be even more stressful. With that being said, there was an automatic 20% grat added to our bill which we thought was for parties of 5 or more. We simply asked if this could be taken off so we could add our own. We were met with hostility and attitude.. We still tipped decently and left a bit confused. My party left before me while I waited for a car, and Jeanette came outside, and asked me if I "could not see that it was busy inside" and if there was a problem with her service. This was very uncomfortable in itself, but then she said she "will remember your faces if you try to come back" and "I will remember you for next time, and I will add the automatic tip". I would understand if we didn't tip her at all, but we did. Regardless of service throughout- coming outside to accost a customer is very confusing, uncomfortable, and inappropriate.

Completely astounded by the level of service received tonight. To start: my 2 friends and I walk in for a party of 3 for dinner. A nice young man cleans a table for us and then a woman with dark long hair hands me three menus and doesn’t even walk us to our table. Our drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive. Our food arrived soon after and we enjoyed our meal. Once we received our check we saw that it had an automatic 20% gratuity as well as a $9.95 convenience fee. We were confused because I live in the neighborhood and have dined with you guys plenty of times and have never had these convenience fee or automatic gratuity. We asked her about it and she said the fee is on all checks. She also said that she added the gratuity because some people haven’t been leaving her tips. We each left about 15% gratuity because the service was so bad. At one point the server was standing at the bar eating her food while we were trying to order a second round of drinks. The most alarming moment of all was when we left she came outside and cornered my friend asking why we tipped the amount we did and that she will “remember our faces”…my friend felt completely scared and confused as gratuity is OPTIONAL and we tipped what we felt was fair. I will never dine with you guys again as this service and behavior is out of control.

Food was great. Restaurant was cozy and cute. Service was AWFUL. The woman with dark hair and a mask was terrible. She came to our table twice. Never sat us. Handed us menus and pointed to a table. Took 15 minutes+ to get us drinks. Never gave us more water. Made us wait for everything. Wanted to order more drinks/desert and she was eating at the bar and never came over. Had to search for her. Then added automatic gratuity for a party of 3 which on the menu says party of 5 or more. Then could not explain the extra fees when we inquired. Then came outside to chase down one member of our party and accosted her for the tip she left and threatened her to add on additional fees if she ever comes back. Extremely unprofessional and horrible service. Don’t go here.

Perfect dinner experience. Table ready when we walked in, great music, and amazing staff with all the tips to make for a great night. AND THEN dessert which was killer. No reason why this place should not be packed. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and delicious food. And according to my DD, "the best tiramisu I've ever had!"

Super chill restaurant/bar in the heart of Brooklyn. Great vibe and excellent service/food. If in town for a show/concert it’s a place to check out!

Alexander was a great waiter and bartender! Amazing cucumber margs and atmosphere. We will be back :)

I love this place and their delicious herb fries! They also have a great selection of cocktails that make you feel very elevated. 💅🏼💅🏼 I had the curiosita! Take note that their brunch is cash only, but they have an ATM in the back (if you’re anything like me and never carry cash). Definitely excited to go back!
