Great place to stay ☺I like that it's in the centre of everything, not far from the beach, got a great roof top terrace. the breakfast is good and the staff are very helpful too. ☹I wouldn't say I didn't like I it, I found it more unnecessary and that was a coffee making station in the room. the plug on kettle wasn't long enough to plug in, the only hot drink I could make was black tea, there was no coffee or milk sachets. also this was on top of a table that didn't need to be in the room.

☺Although it is hard to find, once there, the location was good ☹The bed takes up the whole room so you have to walk sideways to get to the other side of the room.

Um bom local para uma estadia curta em Benidorm ☺O pequeno almoço, apesar de não ser buffet era variado e em quantidade suficiente. A localização era muito boa, perto de bares, restaurantes e outros comércios. ☹O acesso ao quarto era feito por um elevador que só leva 3 passageiros de cada vez. Esse mesmo elevador era o que dava acesso ao bar no roof top e por isso estava constantemente congestionado.

Unos días en el casco viejo de Benidorm. ☺ El Queens está en el casco viejo de Benidorm, antes era un hotel orientado a un público gay, ahora es para todo el mundo adulto, aunque sigue siendo gay friendly, lo mejor es su ubicación. En su azotea se puede tomar una copa contemplando el Skyline de Benidorm. ☹ Es un hotel antiguo reformado que no se le puede pedir más, no tiene piscina, ni gym... como otros hoteles con precio similar, pero siempre ha sido así, calidad precio está en la medía.

Worst hotel experience ever - filthy, unsafe, and rude staff ☺The hotel's location is the only positive, however there are better alternatives nearby. ☹Our hotel room (43) was dirty, and strongly smelled of sewerage throughout the entire room which kept getting worse during our stay. The strong putrid stench made me and my partner feel physically ill.  The air-conditioning unit in the hotel room was also filthy, smelled like a rotting mouldy sponge (a major Legionare's disease hazard!), and was dripping water which also posed a risk of electrocution.  In addition, the room was overall very dirty and on the rare occasion that housekeeping did show up, they only replaced the towels and made the bed (but not with clean bedding) but didn't actually clean anything, or replace toilet paper or toiletries, even after I had specifically asked the hotel staff several times for housekeeping to clean the room and complained. Indeed, the floor was so filthy and sticky that our feet looked dirty if we walked barefoot in our hotel room.  When we complained the staff lied to our faces telling us that our room had been cleaned. The staff were rude, defensive, dishonest, and confrontational. When we asked for the formal complaints book ("hoja de reclamaciónes") the hotel staff member stalled for about 30 minutes pretending to be unable to find it. The hotel did not give us an alternative room. Fearing for our health and safety, we had no choice but to check-out of this hotel 5 nights early (we paid for 9 nights, stayed just 4). The hotel refused to provide any refund or compensation, even after we subsequently complained to Booking.com and were told that the hotel should refund 100% of what was paid for the entire 9-night stay. It is the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life, avoid this place if you can!

Leuk verblijf in oude centrum ☺Midden in het oude centrum, goed ontbijt . Locatie was top. Prijs prima ☹Zeer kleine kamer, geen balkon terwijl deze wel bij booking vermeld stond

Noisy location but can't fault the staff or the beds. ☺Comfortable beds, cleaned daily, staff were great, breakfast was nice. Room was clean. ☹Not the hotels fault, but location was very noisy. Had a room with a small balcony overlooking the tapas square. Could loudly hear karaoke most evenings (when I'd try to have a siesta before the night out) and the communal bottle banks are in the small square used by numerous surrounding hotels, bars and tapas bars,, so I had loud crashing bottles what seemed every few minutes, all day from really early to really late. Had very little sleep the entire stay as a result. Might be different if your room is on the opposite side of the hotel, I'm not sure. Bathroom was small and tired, clear signs of wear and tear, could use an update.
