The bakery is great, makes great food and coffee. The staff are polite but could be a bit more engaging. Although no real complaints here. The space is uninviting though, the biggest factor to this is the blue lighting. Blue toned lighting is usually used in offices or hospitals. I'd suggest looking in to some warmer lights on the ceiling at least, adding more lights around that aren't on the ceiling will help too, as well as brightening up the space. Hope the owner takes this as constructive feedback.

Toasties and sweet pastries are fab and consistent; we order through Uber when we want to treat ourselves to a nice brekkie or lunch.

We ordered pies and sausage rolls. You could chose any flavoured pie as long as it was plain meat pie. We all didn’t feel great afterwards. The sausage roll was the worst. This is the second time in 6 months we got off meat in the sausage rolls. We can’t be this unlucky.

Such a great place for after school treat. Pastries are very tasty and very friendly staff. Always feel welcomed and coffee is top notch. Highly recommend!

I walked in for the first time and had a raspberry muffin, best I even had with white chocolate. I came back later for chicken pie and will go back today for more… this is how good it was!! The owner was very nice and will keep coming here.. thank you! Preice is right too. I don’t know why the bad reviews..

PSA: Website is wrong. There is only 1 store and it’s in East Gosford, all other stores have closed down. Trading hours go until 4pm, not 6pm. Prices on website are wrong, there has been a price increase, noticed on the mini pastry I was purchasing.

It use to be so good when it first opened. I had a croissant the other day after not being there for a long time and it was terrible! So dry and cakey pastry, I’ll not be going back

Barely any options of pies, went the cheese bacon and beef pie. Looked good. But when I ate it the soft doughy pastry was stuck to the tin bottom and ripped the pie apart. The "bacon" was a cooked slice of ham not even chopped and the cheese just wasn't there. Should stop selling pies and stick with the sweets

Worst pie I have had would not recommend!!!! The meat was grissly and under cooked and the pastry was like dough.

Today's visit to East Gosford Bakery could not have been worse. I had to ask if they sold pies because there were none in sight. The young Lady showed me to a pie warmer hidden behind the end of the service counter. The pies in the warmer looked like nice home made pies so I chose a chicken pie. I drove to a nice park about 3 klms away to enjoy my lunch but there was zero enjoyment. The pastry had stuck to the foil base and it completely pulled apart. The pie looked like 2 pieces of bread with a spoonful [ dessert spoon ] of small chicken pieces. Nothing else, no gravy , nothing. I've eaten probably thousands of pies in my 40 odd years as a Sales Rep but never anything this bad. If that's the best you can do you should close your doors permanently !

Stale pastries that were extremely disappointing. They used to make fantastic pastry and treats but have gone seriously downhill recently.

The service was fine but the croissant and tart were stale. Purchased early in the morning on a weekday so no real excuse.

I come here every day for my coffee. Fernada is amazing - such a warm and lovely woman - service is exceptional. Coffee is fantastic. Highly recommend

Unfortunately our 3 pastries were all stale I would say at least 2 days old or frozen and unfrozen. Inedibe. it’s a Sunday so maybe they had no pasty chef in. Also playing Christmas carols late Jan 🤷🏽‍♀️ no idea how a business like this survives.

It looked like being closed permanently as it did not open when we drove to there yesterday afternoon. and the lease sign on their front door window.

Would recommend Bouffant for its great customer service and yummy pastries! I was seen to by the lovely Fernanda who was professional and welcoming, and was promptly with our coffees and pastries. She gave good recommendations on the products out that day and we all enjoyed! Will certainly be back - thank you!
