Thank you for your feedback, Bree. We’re sorry to hear that you have been disappointed with the service you have received. When we took on your file, we advised you it could take several months for CRA to process each of the reviews (and there were five to be completed). Unfortunately, with the nature of the adjustments that were required, they needed to me mailed in, since we were not the ones who filed the original tax returns and that adds additional time to the processing. We endeavor to communicate with our clients throughout adjustment and review processes whenever there is movement on the file. When we learned that you preferred more frequent updates, even if there was no change or progress, we advised we would reach out on a weekly basis, even if it was just to say there was no progress. We have been in touch with CRA throughout this process and have been advised that they have received what we sent and are processing your reviews and asked you to provide information as to the agent you spoke with who provided other information so we could follow up directly to determine what was really going on and unfortunately you didn’t have that information. We did reach back to CRA, confirmed what we had been told and what we had told you previously and unfortunately you weren’t pleased with that response. Again, we are sorry we were unable to meet your expectations; we submitted all the information required, unfortunately you now have to wait for CRA to do their part, and their timeline can vary.
