So peaceful and relaxing...spotlessly clean cabin and very comfortable bed. There are only 4 lodges on site and the layout is such that you have complete privacy. We loved to sit on the veranda watching the birds and the sheep. We have already booked a return visit.

Relaxing time away
A family of 5, we stayed in the Foxglove cabin. When we first walked in we could smell the lovely pine. The kids loved the bunk beds. The cabin is spacious and the views of the hills are uninterrupted. The only sound we heard during our stay was the sound of nature. The children just needed to walk a few steps from the cabin and they could go and see the sheep, lamps and goats in the neigbouring field.
Cathryn and family were very helpful and we felt very welcomed.

Fantastic place to stay, the smell of a wood cabin is amazing and the view of the lambs and rolling hills is so relaxing, will return every year. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Log Cabin
We had an amazing time at Buckland Farm Log Cabins. The cabin was clean, tidy, comfortable and very spacious. The view from the cabin overlooking the valley was great. There were sheep and goats nearby and cows in the distance. The area was very quiet. The cabin had everything that you would require and the enclosed garden was great for our small dog. Only 30 minutes away from Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Overall, an outstanding cabin which we will be going back to.

Tranquility at its best
What a wonderful place to stay at if you want to get away from the noise and bustle of everyday life. With uninterrupted views across the valley and sheep grazing in front of the cabin. The cabin is immaculately clean and very comfy. There were fresh flowers, bread, butter, local honey and milk left for our arrival and a bowl and biscuit barrel full of treats for the dogs. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the birds swooping low across the field and the lambs grazing with their mums. Definitely five star accommodation that we will be revisiting.

An absolutely stunning location with a high end cabin with top of the range furnishings. The peace and quiet and the amazing views makes buckland Farm cabins unbeatable. Will always be my first choice.

We have just stayed in Foxglove lodge for 4 nights. I can describe in 1 word our stay.. perfect. Lodge was clean, Spacious, comfortable with amazing views and above all had all that would be wanted for a relaxing break. Couldn’t fault the lodge at all. Really was fantastic. We took our 4 month old cockapoo with us and he was so very spoilt. From the dog blanket. Personalised water bowl, dog biscuits and a separate shower room to give the doggies a wash. The views were amazing with the sheep’s, goats, and the cows. Thank you for such a fantastic break. We will most definitely be back. #special

A magnificent stay.
A peaceful and tranquil stay which provided a total retreat for my partner and I. The Cabin was spotless, well equipped and complete with fresh bread, honey, butter, even wild flowers in a vase to greet us. We enjoyed a barbeque on our first night and dined out at nearby pubs (Candlelight Inn and Half Moon at Clayhidon-both were superb) and also really enjoyed Chard museum that was amazing value with many curiosities and lots of fascinating history to boot. A truly wonderful stay and my partner and I will be returning.

Fantastic relaxing break
Back again for another great break. As good as before, very comfortable and relaxing. A home from home, clean, cosy and dog friendly. Ideal base for day trips all over Somerset and Devon. We will be back for more in the new year.

We thoroughly recommend Buckland Farm Log Cabins for so many reasons.
This is the most relaxing venue. Everything you can possibly need is supplied. Views are so peaceful over Blackdown Hills, which also offer great walks. Dogs are catered for and made welcome. We spent a great week in Primrose Lodge last year and returned to the same one this year. Plan to do the same next year. Night sky is fabulous with no street lights to interfere. Space station can be seen for thousands of miles. Really great place.

A perfectly peaceful stay!
We stayed in Primrose cabin with our two dogs and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. It was so lovely and quiet, I often found my dog just sat on the balcony looking over the fields! The cabin was beautifully clean when we arrived and it was a great base to do some exploring of Somerset. We genuinely looked forward to coming home after a day of beaches and walks! The cabin was really modern inside, lovely bathroom and the enclosed garden was fantastic. Would stay again and I have already recommended it to other people!

Relaxing break
What a wonderful place, everything we had hoped for and more. Beautiful log cabin, great views, peace and quiet….idyllic!We had a wonderfully relaxing time and our dogs spent all day on the balcony watching the sheep and the swallows.Clean, well equipped and central for all the places we wanted to visit.

First time here but definitely not the last. So peaceful. Being a proper 'townie' I wasn't sure about the peacefulness, I absolutely loved it. Log cabin and lovely garden overlooking fields with sheep, goats and cows. A walk at the bottom into a shaded wood.A bbq in the garden plus fully fitted kitchen. We stayed in Foxglove which is the bigger cabin.No light pollution at night so you can lie in bed and watch the stars.Lots to explore? The beach was a 20 minute drive away. In the welcome book there are recommendations for local pubs which were great. Useful phone numbers, bread, butter and a jar of honey from Buckland bees.Also on site is a handy little shop in case you don't fancy the drive into town.

Went in June 2021, loved it so much we are going again in 2022. Excellent cabins in a fantastic location, so peaceful but also so much to do within a 30 min drive.

Stunning and every need catered for.
Stop the world and let me off here. The views and peaceful setting are amazing. It can only be comparable to the fully stocked cabin. All catering utensils are provided even the things you didn't think you needed but you did. A warm welcome to dogs, with a dog shower and fenced outside area for each cabin to keep them safe.We will be back
