Hi Tracy - We don't post our hourly rates, so it would have been impossible for it to be "higher than they had posted." Your warranty company covered the alternator and sent it to us to install, therefore we did not charge you for the alternator, so we're unsure how it would have been $100 more than the dealership. Additionally, we provided you with an estimate that you approved prior to work being performed. Initially, your warranty company was unwilling to waive the $100 deductible, but once they did agree to waive it, we refunded you that amount and have record of that refund to your card. More importantly, your behavior in our shop was unacceptable--you questioning our very capable and customer-oriented Service Writer about why he wasn't doing his job, calling him a "scrawny little f---" to our technician, and behaving belligerently in front of our customers, to the degree that your wife was apologizing to us FOR you. All of that interaction was recorded for posterity by our cameras. It does sound like no matter how much effort we would put in (and we did put in a significant amount of work to get this repair approved through your warranty company, wait on the supplied part, work to get your deductible waived, and refund you, all while being verbally abused), it would never have been enough. Even if we could meet your every expectation, we do not tolerate the verbal abuse of our staff at any time. We wish you the best with your future automotive needs, at another shop.
