Byron Bay respite are unbelievably wonderful. Following the death of my grandson and serious health/emotional worries, I was extremely run down and sad. BBR took care of absolutely everything, every single tiny detail. Nothing was too much trouble and they were consistently polite, kind and thoughtful in everything. I received regular updates and reminders of contact numbers. My wellbeing was constantly checked up on. BBR were able to gently assist me with decisions I found difficult without in any way influencing me. I am so grateful to all staff. There are not enough stars for this team.

Cannot fault Byron bay respite. Great communication, straight forward process and I had a wonderful time away. Everything was taken care of and every day was set up flawlessly. If I can go back again, I will!

It's peaceful and relaxing and the people in Byron Bay are friendly and helpful as well as the Byron Bay Respite staff who were efficient and professional, responsible and always on time and always offered help instead of having to be asked first The only drawback was the access to beaches and kerbs weren't very wheelchair friendly and the council could make changes to accommodate disabled people so their carers don't have to be exhausted at the end of the day I would probably bring a portable mobility scooter or hire one next time to make it easier to get up the kerbs

Fantastic experience. I chose what activities I wanted to do and the support workers knew the area so they had lots of ideas too. The support workers exceeded my expectations and I felt free to say that I wanted time on my own if that was the case. There was always someone to contact if I had a question or needed assistance. Will be booking again! Loved it. Sharon

What a beautiful holiday I had in Byron bay the team at Byron Bay respite made it extra special and nothing I asked for was hard I will certainly be back next year💋💋

As a complete paraplegic holidays are rarely the relaxed experience an able bodied person would enjoy. Byron Bay Respite went above and beyond making sure I was always looked after and able to enjoy my time away from home.

Had a wonderful respite with the Byron bay team. They were very friendly, supportive and really went above and beyond. All very organised, punctual and the activities were so much fun. Ten out of ten for me and would definitely recommend coming here as I hope to again.

One of the most amazing experiences of my life! Was the perfect way to reset and take a break away, all the support workers and Clare and Deb were so lovelly and helpful. I learnt a lot about myself pushed out of my comfort zone and came home a new person. My friends all noticed a difference in me and now they want to go too!

I had the most wonderful respite experience, I truly couldn't have asked for anyone or anything better than what the wonderful team at Byron Bay Respite have provided me. The accommodation was perfect, quiet and very relaxing with the sounds of the ocean at night time. I felt safe and very comfortable there. Every single Support Worker was absolutely amazing! I had such incredible experiences with all of them, connecting instantly with each of them and feeling very safe, supported, respected and listened to by everyone. I'm so grateful for Iyari, Rosie, Alexander, Chris and Mara- You certainly have the best of the best on your team! The activities I did with the Support Workers were fantastic! I loved every single day, with highlights being - The beautiful Barn owl and Sugar Gliders encounters at Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and Hot air ballooning with Iyari, sightseeing, visiting Cape Byron Lighthouse and shopping in Byron with Rosie, visiting Nimbin and surrounding towns and learning so much about some of the Intentional Communities tucked away in the Hinterland with Alexander, exploring Crystal Castle and relaxing with a beautiful Crystal Sound Healing meditation session before sitting in a stunning amethyst cave with Chris, even hanging out in my villa with Mara when I wasn't feeling too well was lovely as Mara was so kind and caring and super interesting to talk to. The workshops were also highlights for me, with Kali, Linda and Nathalie facilitating beautiful, gentle sessions which taught me so much about myself, different healing modalities, and other fascinating creative mediums and techniques to try. Each workshop session was alot of fun- Kintsugi and Gestalt Therapy with Kali, Driftwood succulent garden and Kokedamas with Linda, Painting and artwork with Nathalie- and all facilitators were just wonderful, very warm and friendly, supportive, kind, very patient, and explained everything really well which was great! I'd love to do more workshops with Kali, Linda and Nathalie next time I come down for respite. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Spa appointments that were scattered throughout my stay. They really helped me to relax and I felt very calm and at peace during and after every appointment. The final massage on my last day was like the icing on the cake, it was the perfect way to finish the most incredible respite. Thankyou so much Deb, for all of your help and hard work that went into scheduling all activities, Support workers, workshops, accommodation, and everything else I've missed. I am so grateful for the entire team at Byron Bay Respite for helping me to reach many of the goals I had set for Respite, and inspiring me to create new goals to strive for in the future. I'm looking forward to seeing you all again next year!

I was really scared about going away as I have never been on holidays or Respite before. But ut was so amazing. Really beautiful location and everyone is is so nice.

I’m absolutely thrilled with my experience at Byron Bay Respite. The team's professionalism blew me away. Their genuine care and exceptional activities offered were on another level. The way they handled everything with such expertise was truly impressive. Can't recommend them enough for their high standard of care and all-around fantastic atmosphere.

Amazing respite coordinators who find great experiences and organise a great balance of relaxing activities as well as time to rest (at a beautiful resort). Very easy to deal with and get in contact with, always felt well looked after by everyone on this team. Very much looking forward to planning another respite with them when I can

Absolutely amazing was truly a magical week away to the team Clare, Deb, Jian, Alex, Julie, Kylie, Iyari, Mara Gretchen and Rosie you are Def the A team I thankyou all so much for making this week so special please no you have left an everlasting impression to me my condition has never been easy but you guys all went above and beyond to make sure I had a great week wish I could have taken you all back with me. My experiences were great from swimming with dolphins to crystal castle magnesium pools roadtrips to gaia and the markets to pottery to the epic food along the way and the amazing accomadation was truly magical. Everything was so thought of from my distilled water for my bipap. The only thing I would change is if I could stay there longer and mister Percy the python that paid us a visit at the doorstep I mean he stopped me from being scared of snakes lol and perhaps I should have been a bit more sun smart on the last day please slip slop slap the sun has a kick up there but do yourself a favour please book in the guys will truly look after you ❤️🐬

I had an awsome respite that would be hard to repeat . Claire was accommodating to help me and flexible in setting up my schedule and always on hand from the beginning I engaged with her and felt safe and cared for. Very friendly and warm. And the support workers were the best I’ve had re Rafa Julie etc . Experiences I will never forget . I think I was demanding maybe sort of difficult when there but was looked after. I highly recommend Byron Bay Respite . 😊😊😊👌👌👌👌👌✌️

This is a great service! The booking process was seamless and the booking staff made it easy. The accommodations and activities were organised brilliantly. Support workers and allied health workers were all outstanding and made me feel very welcome. This respite experience was exactly what I asked for, total choice and control! Could not have gone better, highly recommend 😊
