Caro Lettings - Student Accommodation Liverpool Reviews

Whatever you do, do not give CityPoint or Caro lettings your money. I chose to live there as a first year student and it was a terrible experience. Incident after incident management did not provide appropriate solutions. I'm currently receiving therapy and counselling due to how bad my experience there was, it impacted my mental health negatively. Some of the staff are good but having a reception that isn't always open and non- existent security are not ideal. The water supply was unstable for months and not enough notice was given when water was going to be turned off meaning you could wake up the next day unable to wash properly. A staff member attempted to gain access to my room at night and all I got was "sorry" If you value your mental health and safety - STAY AWAY!

I would give the Bridewell a 5 star review, I have had my room for two years and never felt the need to look anywhere else. I have found the rooms are a good size and well equipped. I have always felt safe and secure. The staff are really friendly and accommodating!

Honestly couldn’t recommend The Bridewell enough. The rooms are extremely good for what you pay for, a good amount of space, very modern but they don’t have the “student accom” look I was trying to avoid, the bed is also a full double which is a godsend. The rooms also come with a TV as do the kitchen areas which are very spacious as well and great for friends. The location is also good for living in centre whilst also being close to uni campuses which is convenient and you’re also a close walk to the docks which is really nice. Laura is also lovely and the best manager you could ask for! Couldn’t recommend this place enough, worth every penny and I will also hopefully be living here for a second year as well!

Living here has been such a great experience! The building used to be an old prison, which makes it way more interesting than regular student accommodation. They’ve kept some of the historic details, which adds a cool vibe, but it’s fully modern and comfortable inside – perfect for studying and relaxing. The best part has definitely been the people. Everyone here is really nice, and the staff go above and beyond to make us feel at home. They’re always helpful and even surprise us with treats every now and then, which is such a thoughtful touch. This place has been a great experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for unique, welcoming uni accommodation! The location is super convenient for getting to campus, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s definitely a unique place to stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something different and fun for uni life

It has been an amazing experience to live at Caro Student Living, The Bridewell! The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the location is quite handy for students. The staff's assistance in helping me transition to a monthly payment plan has been the nicest part; it has greatly simplified budgeting. I genuinely value their adaptability and heartily endorse The Bridewell to any student seeking a cosy, encouraging residence!

Staff are very friendly, especially Laura. She’s always willing to help with any issues I have and its always nice to have a chat about football (Arsenal are better🙃). Rooms are well priced and sized and in a good location. Would deffo recommend!!

Everyones so friendly and helpful, this is my second year there and Im loving it

When we first moved in to bridewell staff were very welcoming and willing to help us move in. The rooms are nice even though quite small. Only downside is that the kitchen wasn’t clean when we moved in.

I’m currently staying at The Bridewell for my last year at uni. The place is well-maintained and offers all the essential amenities I need for my studies. The manager has been very helpful and is always willing to assist with any questions or needs.

Living at Caro Students has been a rollercoaster of emotions. For example, my move in day, the key to my room did not work but by the time this was figured out, staff had left the building! So how’d I get in- well let’s say it’s handy my room’s window latch was not locked so that was quite the start to the experience. In honest speaking I’ve had a few issues occurred that needed fixing and sorting but nothing is perfect and so far my experience has been highs and lows as is everything in life but I’ve been glad to kept on my toes for what it’s worth- I’m never bored! And I’ve been grateful that although frustrating at first, my issues are never not resolved and the sweet treats staff hand out make up for it! Jane Nkongolo

A clean, well equipped accommodation with excellent staff who are quick to tend to any queriers! I am also a fan of the kitchen inspections as I hate mess :)
