I generally don’t leave negative reviews and chose this clinic based on positive reviews. They may do well in providing plastic surgery services, but I do not recommend choosing them for laser services.
I paid an inordinate amount of money for about ten minutes of haphazard zapping on my face. I wanted to remove one very small area of spider veins by my nose. The doctor recommended I spend several hundred dollars on some skincare products and still went ahead and charged me several hundred more for the less than ten minutes of laser treatment.
The most upsetting thing to me was that he didn’t concentrate on the one small area I had an issue with and instead focused on the other side of my face where I had no spider veins or issues at all. Confusingly, he went at that area much more intensely and gave me three distinct burn spots about 1/2 the size of a pencil eraser, each.
When he showed me in the mirror I asked about the one area of concern because the spider vein was clearly visible and didn’t appear to have been “treated” (like the other side which had the little red burns, that later turned to scabs.). In regard to the spider vein, he said he had “gone around it” and if it needed treatment again I could come back in a few months but let’s see how using the skin care products go. I reluctantly agreed and spent a total of nearly $800. I was very unhappy as I healed (it’s been about two months and I still have light red scarring on the areas that scabbed over where I didn’t need treatment in the first place, and still had the spider vein I wanted gone with not even a small degree of improvement.)
I decided to try a local med spa and voila, they did an IPL and the spider vein is now gone…which is what this office could have accomplished for me but chose to drag it out and actually avoid treating the one thing I wanted fixed. I felt like I was being gaslit when I was there, and that the one thing I needed addressed was intentionally not treated so that I would have to come back…and now I know for certain that gut instinct was correct. I had IPL laser treatment in the past with a different provider and it removed another spider vein in one quick session so I knew it was possible, and I’m very disappointed in how I was treated at this office.
Love, love, love Dr Lichten and his staff! Top notch care, and they are always so helpful. Dr. Lichten is so honest and has always been upfront with me which makes the care I receive from him the best! Highly recommend!

I have Lyme disease and I have been in chronic pain for about 4 years. I have had to quit my job and change my lifestyle, which is hard with a family. Everyone at this office took their time and made sure I had the best care possible during all the stages of my breast reduction surgery. Within a week of my surgery I began getting my life back. The pain relief has been so great that I am hoping to go back to work soon. Thank you to everyone there.

The ladies in the reception area need to do better. I had to reach out myself for an appt after waiting 2 weeks after the referral was sent and after that I had to again reach out to them with an update they said they were waiting for verification from my insurance. When I tried to call them back with another number to call to verify my insurance they said they couldn't accept me just like that. How sad. I've been waiting for an appt with a really sore and infected lip piercing that nees to come out and now I have to wait longer all because they didn't want to verify my insurance any longer. All this time was wasted and my lip has gotten worse.

Dr. Lichten was very polite and professional throughout the entire process, he made me feel comfortable before and after surgery. His staff has always been very nice and professional as well. I had Gastric Bypass in 2021, this year I was referred to Ohio Plastic for excess skin removal, Dr. Lichten and his team did a wonderful job, I am 6months post op and I love my new body. It’s still an adjustment and I still feel weird when I look in the mirror, but Dr. Lichten has reassured me that it won’t last forever. After surgery, anytime I had any concerns during recovery he always called back immediately with reassurances.
