The food is on par with the average good NYC food. The atmosphere is chill, the staff was lovely!

Food was great, both my partner and I got the chicken and pancakes. Chicken is boneless tenders, super flavorful and well seasoned, and they give a good amount of chicken so there's enough for it to last for all the pancakes. French fries on the side were decent as well. The only negative was the service. The server was an older woman, not friendly or personable, and had an airpod in the whole time talking to someone in between tables, so she wasn't attentive at all; when she told me they didn't have any chai left so I asked for a minute to check the menu, she just never came back. And she didn't check in on us ever again after taking out orders pretty much.

It's just ok. Kinda expensive. They don't even give refills on your coffee.

Update 11/3/2024 . I noticed pics i mentioned was removed. Thank you. I was so thrown off by that I forgot to mention this is a cute little restaurant and I will return. A girl named shanelle Robbins took a photo of me without my consent. At least if you wanted to take a picture of the walls of the restaurant you should've asked me to move first. I'm tired of everyone in this world just assumes its ok for them to take videos and pics of people without permission. It's a violation of privacy and I Don't want to hear the hoopla of ' ohh when you're in the public you automatically don't have no privacy ' If you see this comment shanelle take the picture down that you took of the couple across from obviously you were sitting in this restaurant on the same day.

First time I have ever finished Brunch and had pleasant convo with everyone @ I came in contact with except the chef.

been going here for nearly 5 years now and won’t stop anytime soon, delicious breakfast! the one time i got lunch it wasn’t my favorite but the breakfast is delish

Yum. I had the LaMont: fried chicken sandwich on brioche bread with salad greens, tomatoes and chipotle mayonnaise/honey mustard sauces. YUM!!!! Lemonade was gorgeously refreshing.. I couldn’t get enough of the chipotle mayonnaise and then there was the bucket of French fries. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Again Yum - it was a great complement to the sandwich. My only issue was that I might have gone overboard with the chipotle mayonnaise and was reprimanded by one of the staff. ‘. I promised to pay for the extra set of sauce. Otherwise all I can say is YUM!!

Never coming back again!😡 I’m writing this review with great disappointment. I’ve been coming here for years, and the food has always been ok. I fully supported this business, especially after surviving the pandemic. However, my recent experience was terrible. I brought my family for brunch on a Saturday, the day my fiancé and I were about to sign our marriage license. We had two trained service animals with us, both with all the required paperwork. The woman who “welcomed” us at the door was incredibly rude. She not only insisted we sit outside in the cold but also told us they have their own rules and that service animals were not allowed inside. When we tried to explain that this was illegal and you cannot deny service to someone with a disability, she remained dismissive. “Rude” doesn’t even begin to describe the treatment we received. This place has lost a loyal customer for good!

Love Cheryl's for amazing food (brunch, lunch, and dinner) and even the occasional great live music night.
