Love the lampshades ,really good quality. You can tell they are hand made by the great attention to detail. Highly recommend!!

I had two table lamps that held incredible sentimental value, but were "off" at our new house. It was as simple as replacing the dated beige lampshades with crisp white ones. But the shape of the lampshades was unique and I didn't want to change that. Chimene Lampshades worked with the existing wire frames and replaced the fabric. I was impressed with their service. They were very responsive to my messages and their turnaround time was outstanding. I called on a Monday and had new lampshades by Wednesday. And when I picked them up, I was impressed with their quality, too. My lamps are perfect in their new space. 10/10, would highly recommend.

We were at a loss. We didn’t want to dispose of our chandelier, it had been with us for many years and it simply belonged with our decor. The problem was the lampshades. Replacements were not commercially available as they were of a particular design. We had looked around for other chandeliers and could not find a suitable replacement. From our perpective we had a working chandelier and dilapidated shades. We then found Chimene Lampshades and couldn’t believe our eyes … they could be our solution. We called on Family Day Monday and had restored lampshades by Wednesday. Two of the 8 shades were missing parts and they were replaced as well. And Chimene repaired the shades using the original shade material the finish of which would have been difficult to reproduce. A big thank you from a happy couple … thanks Chimene! We were searching for a new lampshade for our beautiful crystal chandelier. During renos and moving, the shade had yellowed noticeably. I searched and searched for somewhere to have it replaced. I had almost given up when I came upon this business. We sent email with photos then brought out shade to them. They were so attentive to our vision. The end result was better than expected. It looks new again. Professional, reasonable, quick service, easy to contact. We are thrilled and highly recommend for anyone looking to update a beautiful lamp.

I was looking for months for a large drum shade with no luck. I found Chimene and was super happy with the service. The price very reasonable and the quality is amazing. So happy to support a local small business!

I was looking for a specific size/ style/ colour of lamp shade for a floor lamp that I had. They had the shade that I was looking for, which was great. I also had a floor “tube” lamp that had the covering damaged and I sent a picture of the lamp base and asked if they would be able to do anything with that. When I picked up the lamp shade I dropped off the floor lamp base and picked out my preference for a new shade covering. They got back to me within a couple of days to let me know I could pick the lamp up within the week. The service, the professionalism and the workmanship was very impressive. They brought my floor “tube” lamp back to life and I can honestly say that I love my new “renewed” lamp, more than the original. I highly recommend Chimene Lampshades and would definitely use their services again.

Excellent service and quality workmanship. I had a 6 year old drum from a ceiling light fixture that I wanted to utilize for my new floor lamp. I must say I'm truly impressed with the final product and precision completed from a project I thought couldn't be done. Thank you so much it looks fantastic!

Received excellent service - above and beyond ! Ours is kind of an odd story, in that I called from out-of-town - and considering Covid restrictions, Chimène was willing to take on a work order to custom refurbish our oddly-shaped lampshade, solely via photos as well as measurement details in an e-mail to follow ! We shipped our sad looking lampshade to him and the work began ! There were countless emails back and forth - always with quick responses, by the next day. And after about a week, we were thrilled to receive our carefully packaged ‘new lampshade’ 2 days ago ! - The workmanship is impeccable, without a flaw ! I doubt that any of the LARGE, high-end stores would accept a work order from someone sight unseen, working from photos & emails, then trusting enough to await customer’s payment AFTER shipping the completed item ! This is like business establishments from the past - willing to go the extra mile to please the customer ! - Very obliging and courteous, while maintaining quality workmanship !
