We had high expectations and were blown away by the lovely service and delicious food. This restaurant is cozy and warm, tucked away in a quiet Brooklyn neighborhood.
It’s rare to see a dining service executed so flawlessly, especially with wine pairings! Our som was fun and impressive. I enjoyed the sparkling herbal tea (their mocktail offering).
I’d recommend you treat yourself to this dining experience and place all trust in the chef and the staff to guide your evening.
I loved that you don’t see the menu until the end, when they hand it to you sealed with wax to take home.

We were unfortunately very disappointed with our experience. We had heard so many good things and found it very overrated and overpriced, maybe due to the recent change in chef. The atmosphere and wine were extremely good though.

It’s surprising that this small restaurant holds both the James Beard Award for Best Chef in New York and a Michelin One Star.
The bar seats are nice because you can watch the chefs at work, but it’s very dimly lit, so a table might be a better choice.
Even though the head chef has changed, it seems the dishes now have richer flavors, perhaps due to the added South American influences.
This was one of the finest restaurants I’ve ever visited, and even the desserts were fantastic.

The 9 course tasting menu was spot on. Staff was cordial, polite and professional. Wine pairing was great. Each course was surprising and well portioned. It was great to have a toilet with aromatic candles!

Hands down the BEST dining experience I have ever had. My wife and I celebrated my upcoming birthday on 9/20/24. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in even though we were a little over 5 minutes late for our 6pm reservations. The service was great. Food was better than great (Spring/Summer menu). We received a wax stamped copy of the menu which was a nice memento of this overall wonderful experience. Thank you Chef Mitchell and Staff for making my birthday quite memorable.

OVERCHARGE ALERT! Food is ok although mediocre at best. what I have problems with is the cancellation policy - we made reservation for 2. They refused to reschedule on the same day (which we understand as it’s the policy), so only 1 showed up, but they still charged my card for reservation for 2 people full price, plus tax, 20% service charge, $5 order fee, (which totals to $800), and had the courage to ask my friend who went for ADDITIONAL TIP … on top of refusing any takeout. unbelievable. My friend didn’t know the details of my bill so he paid $60 total for drink and tip. Very bad charging policy and no understanding for customers, take our money for granted, on top of mediocre food, will NOT recommend. There’s a reason why it’s Michelin star but can’t fill the tables.

Lovely experience!
I was considerably late for our reservation and the staff were incredibly professional about it. I was certain we'd lost our table but we were accommodated and that allowed us to really enjoy the experience.
We enjoyed the summer-tasting menu which was seafood inspired. Everything was simple and delectable! It all blended so well.
The staff were down-to-earth and the atmosphere was very intimate. The soft 90's R&B in the background had me groovin'! Definitely on my top 10 in Beli

Staff was wonderful and made for a great experience. Hor d'oeuvres were so flavorful and elevated, my husband and I had the same reaction- every chew felt like an ever-changing explosion of tastes! Uni was amazing- I added it to several dishes. However I will say it’s definitely a hefty price!

Uninspired chefs tasting. They recommend caviar and truffles on all the dishes which for me feels as if the dishes can’t stand on their own.

He visitado el espléndido restaurante Clover Hill, en uno de mis pasadas por la ciudad y me ha encantado el lugar, la ambientación es tan sutil y genuina que solo al entrar te dan ganas de quedarte allí unos días. Me ha inspirado armonía y bienestar. La comida exquisita y el servicio estaban a la altura del lugar. Sentí en cada cucharada un acto de amor, en una palabra. me sentí querida.

This place struggled with its identity, serving overly salty food while flipping between old Drake tracks. The music clashed with the ambient atmosphere, ruining what could have been a romantic setting. I don't recommend going here, too many other good options in the area that's on brand! :)

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Incredible food, fantastic service, and beautiful atmosphere. Will cost you, but it is worth every penny for a very special, memorable evening. We have been to many tasting menus that have been popping up all over NYC in the past few years, and I can confidently say this ranks among the best, if not the absolute best. Can’t wait to return and try a new seasonal menu.
July 2024 Update: Returned again to try their summer ‘24 menu and everything continues to be excellent, if not even better than the first time. Congratulations to Chef Mitchell on his recent James Beard. Him and the entire staff certainly deserve all the praise they have received. This menu and this experience continues to go above and beyond. ONE criticism- I wish they had a non-alcoholic beverage pairing or at least some NA cocktail options for the growing population non-drinkers.

This meal was spectacular. I can see why Charlie Mitchell won best chef in NY at the James Beard awards. We had the spring menu with the wine pairing- it was a splurge for a special occasion and totally worth it. Excellent service and the playlist lived up to the hype, too. Would love to go back for the summer menu, but I will need to save up for the next visit!
