Great Company to work for - I’ve been with them for almost 5 years and feel like I’m part of a big family!! And if you think you’re too old to do this job- at 78 - I can tell you that you’re wrong.It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to help people stay in their homes and I appreciate this company for letting do just that!!!

Comfort Keepers is heaven sent! When I needed help with a family matter they were there to support me immediately! Kristen and her team are amazing! We signed paperwork to have Comfort Keepers in Myrtle Beach help take care of household chores for my mom who was recently diagnosed with returning cancer. Unfortunately, my mom’s health deteriorated rather rapidly and we were unable to use the services of Comfort Keepers. We NEVER had a caregiver come into my Mom’s home and provide a single service. However, we were charged for a week’s service because we cancelled service without giving 2 weeks notice. Originally, we had to pay up front for 2 weeks of service. We were only refunded one week. I was told repeatedly on the phone that I signed a contract stating that 2 weeks notice is required for cancellation and the owner decided to give us back one week. When I stated that my mom had gone into hospice and passed away and this was why service was cancelled, I was told again we had signed a contract. There was no understanding or comfort. Money was the only issue. This is unacceptable especially since no service was ever provided. We had only filled out paperwork. Very unethical!
I’m updating my review. I just got off the phone with Kristin, the owner of Comfort Keepers. After talking with her personally, she has agreed to refund the rest of our money. Thank you for listening and being understanding through this difficult time.
