First class company. Tidy work, courteous and professional.

From start to finish the service received from Contact Solar has been first class. From placing the order through to installation, the communication from the company has been fantastic. We had 10 panels, an inverter and battery installed. The installation was completed by the 3Js. The guys were really friendly and pleasant, asking about sighting cable runs and positioning of the inverter and battery. They kept me in the loop all the way and were very quick and tidy. We have had the system up and running now for almost a week and I am very pleased with the Sunsynk equipment and the connect app, which is used for monitoring the system. There is no deposit to pay with Contact Solar; you only pay when the installation has been completed and you are happy with the system. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Contact Solar if you are thinking about have a solar energy system installed. Thank you, all the team at Contact Solar. Just an update on the above review. Contact Solar have had a special offer for the installation of additional batteries. I took them up on the deal and had an extra 5.32kw battery added to my system. From placing the order to having the battery installed it was all done in double quick time and very efficiently by Simon. Top notch service again from Contact Solar. I had a 5kw + battery system installed July 2022 expertly and efficiently done. I saw what I wanted in their advert with the cost upfront, I made the phone call to place my order and from then onwards it was non pushy and politeness all the way. I am very happy with my investment with a return of £1,300 (11%) in the first year of trouble free operation. I cannot praise Contact Solar highly enough, they are an excellent company and a pleasure to do business with.

Contact Solar charged a good price for the installation of solar panels, battery, and all the wiring, and installed the equipment as and when promised. They cleared up afterwards, and talked me through everything. Pre and post sale service was exemplary - they even phone to check I had no problems. I am absolutely delighted with the work and company, and I recommend them very highly and without reservation.

I used contact solar due to the reasonable price and good reviews, as it was a large purchase I had a reasonable amount of apprehension as I did not know the company. Ultimately I chose them as they did not require any money up front. I need not have worried. The communication was good from the start with each person describing what they would do and what would happen next. The scaffolders were prompt and polite, the installation team were the same. My installation is neat and working efficiently, they even replaced a broken tile on the roof. The hand over was clear and they delivered all the necessary paperwork swiftly. I cannot fault contact solar from start to finish. Thank you.

Excellent. I was a customer of First4Solar. When it went out of business Contact Solar took over its outstanding orders, and offered to do the work for the same price as quoted by F4S. In fact they not only matched the price, they improved the specification; and did it for the outstanding price, minus the deposit. So it was excellent value, and very considerate of them. I'm absolutely delighted with the service, the process and the end result. The only slight downside was that it took quite a long time to get the paperwork for setting up export; but that's all done now (with Octopus) and working well. The company responded quickly to all my queries, both before and after the fitting (and paying). The fitters were brilliant. Not only did they work very efficiently and neatly, but they came up with a much better solution for positioning the batteries and inverter. And the cable routings were also very well thought through; practically invisible in fact. They started at about 0830; they had it all completed and tidied up by 1530. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this company.

Contact Solar quoted me in early 2021 for my system. I had previously got a quote from another supplier and was put off by the price. Contact solar's quote was less than half that of the other supplier (Over £12k lower!) for exactly the same solar/battery spec. The quotation process was very professional and the installation was very neat and also professional. The thing that amazed me most was they quoted I could expect 4001 kwh per annum. Last year the actual figure was 4243.7 and this year I am currently at 3931.8 with around 50 days left of the year - so well on track to exceed it again. The after sales support has also been first class. I genuinely feel they deserve the full 5 stars!

The experience I have had with Contact Solar has been excellent. My solar kit has been in place now for over a week and I am very happy with the outcome. I feel I have been looked after by a team of professional hard working, decent people delivering an excellent service from start to finish. My initial contact was through Geoff in sales who was informative and patient in fielding a significant number of questions I needed answering before I was confident enough to go ahead with the purchase and in helping me to refine the order thereafter. I was given sufficient time to think it over and never felt pressurised. At the same time, I was given a number of invaluable suggestions as to good-value upgrades to the system (e.g. bigger battery) which in hindsight, having used the system for only a week, I would have been gutted had I not purchased! Tony, who undertook the survey was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. Communication from everyone I spoke to at their office was excellent throughout. Phone calls are always answered and you always get an email response to any queries. Holly was great in co-ordinating with the scaffolders and helped iron out a couple of unforeseen issues, always being both professional and friendly, as was Carly in guiding me through the handover. The installation itself went just as smoothly. The team (Tim, Charlie, Jay - sorry if I've remembered the names wrongly!) turned up at 7.30am and worked the whole day through non-stop to get the job finished to a high standard. I was kept informed of progress throughout and given clear explanations of the final setup. It was by no means an easy install with 15 optimised PV panels split across 3 separate hip roofs with batteries and much of the equipment and wiring being installed into compact spaces. However, the quality of the workmanship appears to be top notch. Again, very competent, hard-working, honest guys. Even the scaffolders used by Contact Solar were great - they spent 30 minutes after taking the scaffolding down to fix a leak that had sprung in the guttering. Thanks to everyone at Contact Solar - even those whose names I forget!

From to start to finish, Contact Solar was a pleasure to deal with. All our initial queries, technical or otherwise, were handled effectively and efficiently. Only hiccup was a missed survey appointment, which was due to a miscommunication between departments. However, it was addressed correctly without any unduly inconvenience. The scaffolding was erected and dismantled as per agreed schedule. The panels and batteries installation was quick and tidy, with everything completed within a day. Post installation support on the SunSynk App was good. Overall, we are very happy with the installation and Contact Solar, and would certainly recommend them to family and friends. Well done and many thanks to everyone at Contact Solar.

Contact have just completed my installation and I would recommend them to anyone. All the details were communicated accurately. People turned up when agreed and the work was good, the whole experience was a positive one. I now have 5.2kw of solar and 10kw of battery storage, early signs (when the sun is out) are showing this to be a good choice.

Excellent help and cooperation in understanding my issue and offering quality support. So nice to speak with someone who actually was willing to own the issues.

These guys are great to deal with and simple to get a sensible quote from. Their communication is great and very professional. no salesmen to deal with, no hassle and no hard sell. There is nothing to pay until the system is fully installed and you are 100% happy. Very different from other companies that we have had quotes from. System fully installed on the date promised, great installation team. very happy with product and service. Thanks for your help Geoff and the team. Update: Now had system a few weeks and it’s very impressive. Contacted support a couple of times to help understand some of the interface settings. As with all other contacts, the support is excellent and very speedy. Really happy with system and the choice of provider. Highly recommend. Update: We have had the system for just over 6 months now. it has generated around 15% more electricity so far than was forcast for the year. Great system and great company.

I was initially sceptical about Contact Solar as they were taking the project over from another company that went insolvent. However, once the specifications were defined and confirmed, progress happened quickly. I was really impressed with the professionalism of the installation team and the quality of the installation. Everything worked straightaway. When I contacted the support team to sort out a configuration problem, they responded within 30 minutes and the issue was resolved very quickly. All in all, I am a very happy customer
