I was searching for a 5X8 utility trailer locally but could not bring myself to purchase one of the low quality trailers available at Lowes and Tractor supply. I found Custom Welding on Craigslist and was impressed by the pictures and drove 3 hours to check out the stock. I was blown away by the quality and price. The trailer tows like a dream and the quality of the construction is excellent.
If you are in the market for a trailer I would HIGHLY recommend Custom Welding. They have great products and are a pleasure to work with.

Bought a trailer and pulled it several hundred miles, some loaded, some unloaded. It performed very well; I hardly even knew it was there. The owner was on vacation but still talked with me and lined up the trailer I needed to be ready next day. Trailer was built for quality with better than average axle capacity and 3 frame tongues, even on the small ones. They have a lifetime warranty on welds and very reasonable prices. These guys are great! I will definitly drive the extra distance to get my next trailer from them too.

No lack of choices, it was a rare sight trailers in different stages of completion,let's you see the craftsmanship and the welders were friendly. Will find out more on my return visit.

Derek is the man! Custom built my trailer and even added a few extras. I have owned many trailers, and this one was built from scratch and is built better than any trailer you can find. You want find a better person, Derek is professional and builds a great trailer. If you are looking for one you need to go see him. He has a great team, and delivers as promises. Thanks Derek from me and my family on my landscape trailer. A++++++.

Great trailers, well and sturdy built, at a great price!
We purchased a 6x12 single axle, and I was surprised by the quality. Not flimsy, and treated boards were a definite surprise.
We also got a set of kayak racks, which will allow us to haul up to 6 kayaks/canoes. I opted to not have them mounted to the trailer rails so I can get them mounted to fit our watercraft later.
The trailer comes with a bill of sale, so you'll need to get a vin from the DMV to get a title.
Great guy to work with. Definitely recommend!

Extremely disappointed. Trailer not ready as promised and many excuses and no call backs. Got our money back (owner Derek is very arrogant and rude) and was able to find a WAY BETTER trailer elsewhere and WAY BETTER customer service!

I bought a 6.4x12 utility trailer about 5 years ago from Custom Welding, Great Quality and Price, not to mention the customer service is great. I plan on selling the trailer I have now and ordering another one from Custom Welding. That’s another good thing about this company, you can customize your trailer the way you want it.
