Darragh was brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Great contact throughout, listened to all of our song choices, and had the floor packed all night!

Darragh and his sax player played our wedding in Bellingham Castle and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He had the dance floor packed for his entire set with his excellent choice of music. He was a pleasure to deal with and was engaged with us from the very first moment we contacted him. He arrived early and was ready to start playing as soon as our band had finished up. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone.

I originally had another DJ and 4 weeks before the wedding day I was not gelling and contacted Darragh O’Dea and from the moment I spoke to him I new I had to have him at my wedding. He is an amazing DJ and he made my day amazing. Highly recommend Darragh if you want your wedding day to be as special as mine was you need Darragh have e will make it unforgettable!!!

Darragh played at our wedding on 7th January in Bellingham Castle and we couldn’t recommend him enough. He was fantastic from the first moment of contact, when planning our wedding, to the very last song played on the night. Before the wedding, Darragh was keen to get an idea of both our tastes in music to be able to entertain our guests and make it a night for all to remember. He successfully added to the songs that we suggested and the dance floor was filled the entire evening. Family members and guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Darragh is a superb DJ but it is his friendly and easy going manner during the weeks before and on the day of the wedding that we will remember most. Thank you for your wonderful contribution to our special day.

You MUST book Darragh for your wedding ASAP. I promise you will have zero regrets! He is simply amazing with an endless library of songs of all genres to choose from. From the minute we first met with Darragh, I knew he was going to be awesome. Something that was very important to us is that our guests have a great time and spend all night on the dance floor, and that is exactly what happened. Darragh kept the dance floor packed all night long. There was never a dull moment or a lull. We were all so busy dancing, we barely had time to refill our drinks. We could have gone all night long if we had the choice (thanks COVID restrictions). He even popped a little surprise confetti bomb during our first dance. Darragh delivered a party that was truly everything we wanted. All our guests even now still remark that our wedding was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to! A true master! We booked Darragh for our November wedding and could not have asked for more. We and our guests had the most amazing night, the following day everyone was raving about the music. Great variety of songs, knew excactly what to play to make staying on the floor irresistible 😊 Through the months of organisation Darragh was enthusiastic, professional, offered us so much helpful advice, we cannot recommend him highly enough.

The DJ part is just 1 little bit of the experience you get from Darragh. Thank you for being so responsive on email. Answer ALL of our questions, pointing us in the right direction when looking for other vendors and being so responsive on emails at all times. On the night itself, you controlled everything from first to last dance and read our guests so well. Sore feet all round the next day. We cannot thank you enough for everything. You are the master of your trade, Master Yoda I should say!! 1000% recommended!!!

We had Darragh as our wedding DJ recently and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was highly engaged, considerate and open to suggestions for a playlist. He took that and filled out the rest of the night beautifully and had everyone out on the floor throughout the night. Will be happy to hire Darragh for events in future.

"Just give me the ingredients and I'll bake the cake," said DJ Darragh as we discussed the music ahead of myself and Kelley's big day. For the afters, I wanted him to recreate the vibe of the discos that used to follow in the wake of live gigs at Whelan's. I wanted everyone to be up dancing, throwing shapes. Darragh didn't disappoint. Everything from Prefab Sprout to The Cure to R.E.M. to The Waterboys had us moving and weaving like the pandemic was just a bad dream. He paid close attention to what we wanted, discussed the age groups of guests and their musical tastes. His professionalism and enthusiasm guaranteed a night to remember.

Darragh was a top class dj for our wedding on 31st October. He was so easy to communicate with from day one. He took all of our requests on board (even all the Westlife songs). We had loads of guests coming up saying how good he was. One was giving out that everytime she went to sit down he played another class song so she had to get back up! We thoroughly enjoyed his music on the day and all our guests loved the atmosphere he created. The dance floor was rarely empty. We would definitely recommend Darragh to friends.

What a brilliant DJ, Darragh played at our wedding and made it the most memorable night of our lives. We gave Darragh a few of our favourite songs to work from and he played the perfect set, we didn’t leave the dance floor all night, from our friends to our parents everyone loved the music. Amazing, professional service. Darragh was our wedding DJ in September 2021. He was so friendly and professional with everything. The music selection was amazing and he played all the “must play songs” from our playlist with a few absolute bangers thrown in to keep the floor full. Our first dance followed by the remixed version of the song was a particular highlight for us. All our guests had nothing but compliments on the music and entertainment that night. 10/10 would definitely book again.

Professional and could not do enough to help us through our planning and having to change plans 3 times and even change venue. From the outset the communication was quick and swift which is rare these days. Darragh listened to our suggestions about music and added to them to make it the best night we have both had since our college days. We knew from the start that engaging with Darragh as our DJ was the smart move and the night was filled with memories that will never be forgotten. We booked Darragh for our wedding on Sept 17th. And what can we say but WOW!! Brilliant...just BRILLIANT!! From day 1 of contact, Darragh was just so helpful and very quick to respond to any of our emails. We had him for the whole day from ceremony to finish. And even throughout the planning, as restrictions eased and plans changed, nothing was a problem for him and he was just so accommodating. We chose every single bit of music and song personally for our day and he had every bit of it down to a T. From the ceremony choices to the bridal party entrances to the reception. He even mixed 2 songs together for us by request for our own entrance to the reception. Which went down perfectly! We cannot recommend Darragh highly enough for any couple looking to book a DJ for their special day. I highly recommend Darragh! He couldn't be any more helpful in the early days of wedding planning with his useful tips and tricks, i felt like he really helped bring everything together. He was amazing on the day / night and the dance floor was constantly hopping! he had a surprise confetti cannon during our first dance and was amazing organising our speaches etc! worth every penny.

Darragh DJ’d for our recent wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. The whole process with Darragh was perfect from start to finish. His very first email response to me was so friendly and thoughtful- he had actually taken the time to read my request and had personalised his reply and didn’t just send a generic email with all of his available packages which was something I had received from other DJs when I was booking one. Darragh was very easy to correspond with in relation to the booking process. He was happy to correspond by email and phone at times that were convenient for us. He also has a great music database system you can use to easily let Darragh know what your music preference is and you can tell that Darragh is really trying to get to know your favourite music choices. On the day itself Darragh was so professional and made the evening so easy for us. He read the room perfectly so that every single person was catered for. He included the songs that we had asked for too (some which you might not hear normally at a wedding) and the dance floor was honestly packed for the whole night. I’ve had so many of our guests compliment Darragh’s DJing skills afterwards, and asking for his name and contact details for their own weddings and events. Genuinely we couldn’t have asked for a nicer and talented DJ who really enjoyed his work for our special day and I would absolutely recommend Darragh as a DJ for your wedding and any other events!
