What a great experience! Took my wife camping in our RV over a weekend for our anniversary. We had great neighbors and check in was great even thought we arrived later than thought the staff was there and helped me load up wood I bought in the store. We were near the airstream and bathhouse sites great access to back in and get hooked up for no worries. had great views and the river was very relaxing. I like the mixed options available as we have friends without a rv. We are defiantly planning on coming back with more family and friends to experience this together.

AMAZING! The owner and workers are AMAZING! Tammy was a sweet heart who answered all our questions about anything. The location is the absolute best! The trailers and cabins are GORGEOUS!! The river is a 4 minute walk from the farthest cabin and it’s gorgeous to walk! I adore that they allow dogs! It’s so much better to have my fur babies when I’m on vacation. ONLY DOWNFALL is the stickers 😂 but obviously they can’t do anything about it! We woke up to deer on the front porch and seeing the sunrise and having a great shower while in vacation was the absolute best! Me and my husband will CERTAINLY be back🤍

Up date: the owner called we talked and got issues resolved. He was very concerned and would address everything. Nice place beautiful sunsets. with the Cats everywhere wanting food. People had dogs off leashes. Came into our camp looking for food i guess very bothersome no respect. Probably won't be back no cell service or wifi. No one in office for questions.

We stayed there in our RV. We had a great experience and the staff was helpful!

September 2024 I went with friends on a fishing trip to the Llano River. The cabin looked nice inside and out but there was a major bug issue. Also, because it was in the wooded area there was 3 scorpions in the cabin. Luckily, no one stepped on one. Other friends had bug issues in their cabin, another one the AC did not work. Management tried to accommodate but my friends were greatly disappointed. When you have reservations well in advance, you would think the management would make sure EVERYTHING is in working order and no bugs sleeping with you. I will not stay there again.

Fantastic place to get away from it all. Located outside the town of Mason, home to Coopers BBQ. Cabins, tents, and RV spots available. Huge movie selection of dvds to borrow with many games to play. The river always flowing and the scenery perfect, highly recommend

Edit: I did reach out to management before posting the review but was never contacted again like they told me. The place was beautiful but the cabins…not so beautiful. We paid $600+ on 2 cabins for 2 nights. We got there late at night (10:30-11ish) and went inside. The place looked okay, very bland but we were tired so we showered (which we found human hair in our cabins towels which gross but whatever) in the cabinet there was rat poop and dead bugs all over it…eww but whatever we are tired so we went to bed. The bed was filthy with dirt like they just made the bed without washing. By this point it was 12am-1am ish the WiFi didn’t work, no service, and the most boring movies that they so helpfully provided that I’d never heard of. Idk about you but I need something playing to fall asleep. They said they had WiFi so I thought no big deal I’ll put it on my iPad. Apparently the WiFi is spotty but they didn’t tell us that till we got there. Whatever though it’s late we just cleaned the bed and went to sleep. Well during the night my boyfriend got stung twice by scorpions during the night while asleep under the covers and we killed 4 more during the stay. The next day we were able to see the full extent of the dirty room. Dead bugs covered the baseboards. It was so gross and unsanitary. They charge you a $30 cleaning fee on each room but the room was disgusting when we got there. We left that next day and didn’t stay another night. We let my brother and sister-in-law stay in there with her 2 year old and they had to clean it just for her to come inside. She told me the next day that she slept better in her overlander than the cabin with ac just because it was cleaner. I did reach out to management to get this resolved before taking it to Google but was told she would call me back and never did. Both cabins were dirty ours was just worse. She assured me the room was clean 24hrs before we got there and put clean bedding on too. I can assure you that was not 24hrs worth of bugs and dirt and the sheets definitely had dirt on it and crumbs that we had to dust out. I don’t recommend the cabins to anyone. Save you money and just do a campsite or something because it wasn’t worth $600 for two of them and it seriously ruined my whole stay. The place was gorgeous and we had fun but it would have been nice to come and sleep in a clean bed and not have to clean the place when we get there.

Super quite and beautiful views. A buck came up to me the first morning it was pretty cool seeing one get that close to me. Be prepared There is no service out there but that’s not the camps fault as it is remote.

This was such a nice spot to camp. The place was clean, bathrooms had showers as well, and very close to the river. We just stayed in a tent this time but the cabins and tents they have there look nice. Some of the tents over looked the river. Being so close to the river you can either walk down or drive down. The water was perfect! But be careful driving down. I got stuck in the rocks lol but a super nice couple staying at the campsite saw our struggle and came down in their jeep to pull us out. Overall an amazing trip and would definitely suggest going there to relax and have some fun in the water. Also I brought my 2 dogs with me and they had a great time too!

My buddies and I chose Dos Rios for our annual gentleman's camping trip. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The owners were so nice, helpful, and accommodating. They made us feel at home. We chose to do tent camping for this one. There are plenty of sites to choose from. Each site has a fire pit, a bbq pit, a hammock, chairs, and a picnic bench. The sites were clean and ready to use. The facilities on site were good. Clean showers and bathrooms. The bathhouse had AC, which was great. The river was easy to access. The water was clear and full of life. We fished and tubed down the river. We caught a few Guadalupe and Largemouth Bass, as well as a channel cat. The night sky was amazing. Every star in the sky is visible out there. Overall, it was a nice experience. I would highly recommend Dos Rios for a family or couples getaway. As well as a solo or group camping experience.

Tammy was GREAT!! She made sure we were comfortable and even pointed us to some great places to eat in town. We will DEFINITELY be coming back to this little Texas gem.

Stayed in a tiny cabin for the 4th of July (#11 in a great location and shaded). The river is nice for cooling off and fishing. Nice place and Tammy was very helpful and available basically 24/7. We will be returning later in the year.
