Visit to learn about wines to truly appreciate them as a labor of love and science!
The drive along the Finger Lakes was absolutely breathtaking!
The professionals who described each tasting were clearly knowledgeable.
The detailed descriptions of each wine were so interesting that we chose to try new wines that sounded interesting---and were surprised by how delightful they were!
Found myself enjoying certain white, rose, and red wines alike.
Graham and Michael were particularly sensitive to our having an enjoyable experience as they described the steel, oak, and clay casks.
My only regret was buying only eight bottles instead of a full case along with our specialty crackers and soft cheese.
A treat to meet Meghan before departing as I had enjoyed her presentations online, and love her Gruner Veltliner!

Not-to-be-missed!
If you like tasting/drinking wine, this is THE place to be. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. It's like this: They want you to come, they want you to stay, and they want you to come back! We've been going for 40 years!

Fun and educational
Meghan gave us a detailed and fun overview and tour and the 1886 experience was excellent well paired with the wines. Who knew a Siberian red grape could produce a nice food wine? Highly recommended

Iconic Winery in the Finger Lakes Region
Dr. Konstantin Frank certainly lived up to my expectations as a wine professional. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous, the view was spectacular and the wines were fantastic. I would say this place is a "must see" for anyone visiting the Finger Lakes for the first time.

Incredible Experience in the Finger Lakes
When visiting Hammondsport in the Finger Lakes, you absolutely MUST make time to go to the Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery! Wine tasting several EXQUISITE varietals... information about the individual who brought PREMIUM wines to the Uniyed States. A company store where you can purchase said quaffs and a garden where you can buy flights of various wines, individual glasses and cheese boards. The view is also Incredible!
This is one of those "don't miss" excursions.

Best winery in the Finger lakes area
This was our second trip to Dr. Frank’s. Amazing place. The staff was fantastic. Love the new way of tasting since Covid….”stations”. Hope it stays that way. Learned so much. The wines are amazing. All of them! Will definitely visit again

Trip through the Finger Lakes of NY
We are traveling with a dog, so that did put a slight damper on our visit, but we knew ahead of time that that dogs were not allowed in the tasting room, only outside. The outside area for sitting, drinking and having a snack are beautiful and have a lovely view of the lake. We and the pup enjoyed the grounds and all of the flowers in bloom. The wines are very Germanic as they tend to be in the Finger Lakes and all were very good.

We experienced the wine and food pairings. This is a must do tasting and well worth the cost. From the historic building, to the vineyard walk, to the great small plates it was well paced and top notch.

Favorite Winery in Finger Lakes
Don’t let the name fool you. This is a great winery with a terrific selection of fine wines. Their wine tasting is an education as well as an opportunity to sample their great wines. They have a nice location, surrounded by their vineyards. You should definitely include this winery in your wine tour plans.

Highly Recommend Progressive Tasting at Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery!
This was by far the best tasting of our trip. We loved the 'Progressive Tasting' format! It was so nice to get to interact with different people at each station and we enjoyed hearing information about the history of the winery & founders, as well as the wines. Of course the wines were delicious as well! We drove over from Watkins Glen, it was well worth the drive. We would definitely come back!

Marvelous Winery
My husband & I have been frequenting Dr. Franks on an annual basis since we discovered this gem of a winery over 10 years ago. Their wines always exceed our expectations.
We thoroughly enjoyed the new experience of the wine stations (developed since Covid). The enthusiasm that each associate has for wine and the wine-making process & history is contagious. The Scottish gentlemen had a particularly lovely passion for wine!

Great experience
Went with my sister during the week, one of the last tastings of the day (3:50). Beautiful setting. Covid friendly - tasting set up in four stations, max 6 at a time. 2 stations inside, two outside. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. Wines exceptional.

Excellent tour and tasting!
During our week at Keuka Lake, our family took a tour of Dr. Frank's Winery. What a wonderful experience. Wine tour not only shared the winery's history, but explained the different grapes and wines made from them. We then sat in a covered picnic area with wine flights and cheese boards and a beautiful view of the lake. We loved several of the Rieslings and the Rose'. Brought several bottes home to NC. This is THE winery to tour on Keuka Lake. You won't be disappointed.

My Favorite Finger Lakes Winery
Dr. Constantine Frank is one of the oldest, and, arguably, one of the best wineries in the Finger Lakes. It is notable for its production from uncommon grapes including Gruner Veltliner, Rkatsiele, Muscat Ottonal, Old Vines Pino Noir, Blaufrankisch, Cabernet Franc, Saperavi, and Amur. I have tried most of these and can recommend them. You can just walk in to buy some wine, but if you want a tasting you will have to make a reservation and only very small groups are accepted. This place is quite busy on a pleasant summer weekend afternoon. Enjoy the beautiful view of Keuka Lake.

Amazing Wine, Great service, and Beautiful location - what more could you want?
I can not say enough about how amazing Dr. Franks Winery was to visit. We went for a bachelorette party weekend and they did not disappoint. Book ahead for the progressive tasting tour, it will not disappoint! You get to go through different stations and learn the history of the winery and sip wine while you enjoy the gorgeous views and learn about the property and history. Tasting countless wines, there is certainly something for everyone whether you prefer dry or sweet they have it all. After our tour we then enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden with their cheese platter which was delicious. Honestly though, on top of the beautiful location and great wine, the staff are also lovely and very helpful. They were so accommodating, kind, and personable. We will definitely be back in the future and look forward to our visit again!
