As a seasoned AT and professor who still works with many NSO's, I can not express how great Dunbar Medical is. They are efficient, have great communication and are extremely helpful. Very friendly and helpful when looking for sport medical/AT/PT supplies. Great range of tapes, sprays, first aid supplies (cheaper than amazon). I made a small order to cover one event and they helped me find everything I was looking for.

Uncaring and unprofessional service. I visited this store for the first time to buy a hand brace for my right wrist. The lady that assisted me was very unprofessional. I tried one brace but the fit was uncomfortable, I asked her to let me try a different one she said she will have to re-do the invoice and she was bothered. She allowed me to try another one, the fit was ok but a little roomy so I asked to try the same brand one size smaller. Oh Boy! was she annoyed, she sighed and said she will have to redo the invoice again. I was so turned off at this point, I told her never mind, it is ok. I started getting my things together then she, said, "it is smart to take the package because it has instruction on how to care for the brace". How belittling, rude, and unprofessional! WHY would I not take the package? where would I store my brace? Dunbar Medical needs to review their customer service approach because every product sold is an advertisement for more sales. I will not go back to that place nor will I refer them to anyone.

Hello - we are sorry you feel this way, but there are a few things that I need to explain here so that readers can have a balanced view of what happened. You came to our business this morning and we explained that we were in the middle of our annual stock taking and could not perform any sales today. 99% of businesses would not be willing to perform any transactions in the middle of the stock taking exercise as it means that these transadtions have to be tracked and adjusted for at the end of the count. This makes an already stressful and complicated exercise (stocktaking) even more difficult. Nevertheless, you were insistent that you needed a wrist brace, so we decided to try to accommodate you. We actually have a policy (because of Covid) against allowing customers to try on products in the store. However, you said you wanted to try on one of the braces and we again accommodated you. You indicated satisfaction with the product and our rep invoiced it out and prepared to take the payment. At this point, you changed your mind and indicated interest in another wrist brace product. So our rep reversed the first invoice and allowed you to try on the second brace (as mentioned, contrary to our policy due to Covid), Having tried on the second product, you expressed satisfaction with it and our rep invoiced it out and took the payment. At this point you again changed your mind and decided you wanted to try on and test another size. Our rep merely mentioned that this would require another invoice to be drawn up (it would also have required another back end adjustment to stocktaking but she did not mention that) at which point you took offence and prepared to leave. As I mentioned, every time we do an invoice and.or invoice reversal during stock taking, it complicates that process and increases the risk that the count will be inaccurate, thus jeopardizing the accuracy of our inventory and our financial records. For this reason, most business completely close their doors during stock taking and do not allow any transactions period. We made an exception in your case to try and help. As you prepared to leave, our rep tried to remind you to take the box with you (since you were already wearing the brace). She also informed you that the box contained information on how to care for the brace. This is actually very valuable information, as many customers do not read these instructions and as a result fail to get the full value of their investment. The brace you bought is actually one of our most expensive wrist braces and its performance is very sensitive to how well it is cared for. As an example, putting the brace in a washing machine can damage its fabric and cause it to lose its supportive qualities. Our rep was merely trying to make you aware of that, and we are sorry that that caused you to take offence. At the end of the day, we went out of our way to help you by making exceptions to a couple of practices that are widely followed (i.e. no sales during stock taking and no trying on of products during Covid). We also tried to make you aware of information on the packaging about how to care for your product and get the best value from it. Our experience informs us that many customers make the mistake of not reading these instructions They wear the brace 24/7 and simply discard the packaging. We hoped to help you to avoid making that mistake. We are sorry that, despite these efforts, you feel that we did not do enough for you. We will try to see what more we can do in similar circumstances in the future. Thanks.

Uncaring and careless. We placed a detailed order - with a photo! - and they packaged up and sent an arm version instead of the requested LEG version! I called and their reaction was “too bad for you” and “no we’re not going to do anything”.

Hello - We are sorry about your experience and apologize for any inconvenience. We have investigated the problem and found that the product was listed inaccurately on the third party website from which you ordered it due to issues beyond our control. Although you did indeed order a leg covering, the SKU and photo that reached us was for an arm covering instead, so that was the product we shipped. We have tried to work with the owners of that site to correct the listing and have asked them to reach out to you but with no success. Please note that we cannot offer a refund as the site owners have not yet released your payment to us. However, you can return the product to any of their stores for a full refund. We do sell directly to consumers from remaininthegame.ca, where our products can be ordered directly from us with no risk of this type of problem occurring.

This place should be ashamed of themselves. Profiting off of Covid-19. Charging $100+ for a box of 20 N95 masks. Charging double and triple prices for boxes of gloves. These guys are the worst.

Hello - I do not have any recollection of your visit or call, but we are sorry that you feel that way. Unfortunately, the prices of items like gloves and masks (among other things) have gone up significantly due to the pandemic and that includes the prices we pay our suppliers. With a little research, you will see that $100 for a box of 20 N95 respirators is probably the lowest price you would currently pay for these products.
