We had the most amazing 6-day tour of Ghana, including highlights, such as Jamestown (Accra), Kwame Nkrumah Monument, the Ashanti Kingdom, kente cloth weaving, the slave castles in Elmina and Cape Coast, as well as the rain forest canopy walkway at Kakum National Park (see the video). The team at EasyTrack Ghana (and specifically Jessie Aboagye, our guide) were EXCEPTIONAL!!! If I could give more than 5-stars, I would. From booking and customizing our tour, to our actual travels in Ghana, everything was seamless and perfect. I highly recommend EasyTrack Ghana to anyone visiting Ghana. You will not be disappointed.
Hello Hermie, this is Jessie here. We all thank you so much for your kind words for Easy Track Ghana. I'm delighted that you and your wife had such a great tour in Ghana. I look forward to our next traveling adventure together!

A homecoming with heart
I did a tour as a Diaspora returner from Canada of Caribbean descent coming home to Ghana, and I was by myself as I was doing funded research of my experiences. I had my guide, Julius, to myself, and he was fantastic. I don’t know how I would have done this without him. He was a very good driver and always very attentive to my needs. It was a very emotional and intense trip for me, and I so appreciloved his kindness. As a woman travelling alone, he was invaluable in keeping me safe and helping me get fair prices with merchants. The ceremonies (Outdooring, ancestral river and Door of Return) were so moving and meaningful for me. I loved the structure of the tour. It balanced the hard, sad experiences with more light and joyful ones. I loved learning about the ancestral practices of my people, the Ashanti, and getting to try out kente cloth weaving and Adinkra stamping. The Ashanti palace was another highlight. Cape Coast Castle and Elmina were the reason for my trip and they were wrenching, but leading up to them with the ancestral river put them in the context of return, hope and healing. I am so glad I went. The ancestral river was the best part of my tour and I will never forget the release from trauma I found there. The trip to Kakum National Park was amazing. The natural beauty of Ghana was on full display and I faced my fears and went on the canopy walkway! As to the hotels… all were great, and each more spectacular than the last. The food was fantastic everywhere. No problem finding vegetarian options. Check in at each hotel and each attraction and tour went smoothly. The cultural performance at the end was spectacular and really showcased the creativity of the Ghanaian people. Ghana is a beautiful, safe and hospitable country and it is now my home too, and I will be back. Thank you Easy Track.
Thank you, Zilla, for sharing your heartfelt experience. We're thrilled to hear that Julius made your journey meaningful and safe. Your insights on the ancestral practices and cultural experiences are deeply appreciated. Thank you for trusting us and booking with us within the shortest possible time. We look forward to your return!

Great tours! Easy to organize in advance
Did a waterfalls tour and cooking class. Both were very enjoyable, the cooking class was extra special. Very easy to organize well in advance from out of the country compared to some of the more informal tour operators.
Thank you, Chris! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the waterfalls tour and cooking class, especially since you organized from abroad. We want to ensure our tours are easy to book and above all the price perfect for any traveler. Your feedback reinforces our commitment to providing seamless experiences. Safe travels!

I can definitely recommend doing a guided tour with Ease Track Ghana!
My boyfriend and i did a 5 day tour where we went from Accra to Kumasi to Cape Coast and then back to Accra for our flight home. The planning process went smooth and we felt secure the whole way through. Questions were always answered and payments were quickly confirmed. We could also see the full itinerary as well as updates in payments, guides and booking on our personal booking site.
We had Mike as our guide and he was excellent through the whole trip. Communication went well and we felt safe on the whole tour. The driving in Ghana is definitely different from what we are used to in Europe, but we felt safe in the car at all times. We got to experience a good variety of history, culture and nature and Mike was also great at picking up on our personal preferences and ensuring that we saw and experienced what we liked.
One thing to note is that the tour involved a bit more time driving around than what we initially thought. But seeing the country from the car windows was an experience in itself.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It’s great to hear that you had such a smooth and enjoyable trip with Easy Track Ghana. Mike is a fantastic guide, and I’m glad you felt safe and well taken care of throughout the tour. I appreciate the heads-up about the driving time—sometimes the journey itself is part of the adventure, and it sounds like you made the most of it. We look forward to your return and exploring more of Ghana with you!

3 day trip to Capecoast and Elmina
This easter we had a wonderfull trip to cape coast and stay at Elmina Coconut Grove Beach Resort. We where very happy with our Mid-range accommodations at the resort.
Great comunication with Ebenezer during booking, and itinary planning in the months/weeks before our trip. He was very accomadating when we wanted to add an extra day in the already proposed itinarary.
Our guide and driver was, Julius Livingstone. He was very friendly and service minded. On our extra day he took us everywhere we wanted to go. And along the way he helped us with the ghanaien customs and the do's and dont's, which was very much appreciated. We would love to have him as a guide again. Highly reccomend him if your lucky enough to get him as your driver/guide.
Thank you, Sandra, for sharing your wonderful experience! We're thrilled that Ebenezer and Julius made your trip special. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to them. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future!

words cannot describe the fantastic experience we had with easy track all the way from booking to the end of the tour. let's start with ebenezer. i worked with him to customize a 3 day private tour. he was the most thoughtful, responsive and customer-focused agent i have ever worked with, and i've done tons of international travel. i love that they create a personal tour webpage just for you when you book. and their prices are more than reasonable for everything you get.
let's talk about the tours themselves. for 3 days, we had a private driver / guide named jessie who was fantastic. he accommodated our every need, was very personable, knowledgeable, funny and sharp! the man was dressed like a million dollars every day, even though it was 115+ degrees with the heat index! he was so attentive, that he would recognize when we were getting tired, so he would adjust things on the fly (with our permission) so that we didnt over extend ourselves.
for reference, here's everything we booked / saw with our tours
day 1: Posuban Shrine, Cape Coast Castle, Door Of Return, Assin Manso
day 2: Elmina Castle, Fishing Village, Kakum National Park & Canopy Walk
day 3: Aburi Gardens, Craft Market, Durbar of Chiefs
if you are going to ghana, you absolutely MUST book with easy track!!!
Thank you Regan for allowing us to provide you with our services during your visit to Ghana. Jessie had fantastic things to say about you during your tour and we look forward to hosting you again for your next visit for Ghana, Togo or Benin.

Good pre-travel arrangements, good tour guide
Our first trip to Ghana was smooth and comfortable. Before the trip, the arrangements were custom tailored to our budget, interests, and timeline. Our tour guide (Mike) met us at the airport and remained attentive, flexible, and kind throughout the trip. There were no issues rearranging plans to accommodate last minute meetings with friends or addressing minor injuries (first aid kit and epipen were available). One minor downside was that some costs (hotel lodging, transportation) were unclear. That could be improved by including an itemized list of expenses upon booking. All in all, this was a great trip and we would recommend Easy Track to family and friends.
Dear Kofi, we appreciate your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your trip. Your suggestion regarding an itemized list of expenses has been noted for improvement. Looking forward to your next adventure with us.

Accra City Tour, La Beach
We visited Kwame Nkrumah Monument (climbed to the top), Independence Square (massive and impressive), Jamestown (very sad history through a walking tour), WEB DeBois Center (amazing to learn it was his last house and final resting plac)., and ended our day at La Pleasure beach where we enjoyed delicious jumbo pawns.
Dear Lorena,
We are delighted you enjoyed the Accra tour and appreciated the historical sites. Thank you for sharing your experience. We look forward to your next visit.

The most amazing and unforgettable experience!
We planned a 15 day journey to Ghana, but we were not too sure how to travel and what to see . Easytrack offered us a tailor made tour that was perfect for us. With two amazing guides (Mike and Adams) we travelled in the North, South and West of Ghana. The guides have extensive knowledge of the country and could bring us to places we would not have found on our own. We loved the diversity we've seen in nature, people and culture. We had the most amazing and unforgettable experience travelling with Easy Track, i would highly recommending travelling with them.

Excellent Excursion
Our family of four (parents plus 13yo and 11yo) went on a 21 day tour of sites in both northern and southern Ghana -- including the Pikworo Slave Camp, the Slave Defence Wall, Kintampo Falls, the Ashanti Palace in Kumasi, the Ancestral slave river site at Assin Manso, Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle, and more. And, overall, we had an absolutely amazing experience and a wonderful time. Easy Track Ghana took care of all of our accomodations -- not only room and board, but also water and snacks. Our guides and drivers -- Ebenezer, Adams, Philip, Tim, and Mohammed -- were all absolutely wonderful and very kind, and went out of their way each day to help us have the best experience we could. They were a pleasure to work with.Ghana itself is absolutely gorgeous, and encompasses a diversity of climates and terrains. Our trip was in the drier season (although many folks mentioned that it was wetter than normal -- most likely due to climate change), which I personally think contributed to how well our trip went -- for the most part we did not have to deal with mud. By far the people we met were quite friendly overall; however, I found the folks in the north (Bolgatanga area especially) to be authentically curious about us, whereas it felt more like folks in the south were more wise in the ways of interacting with tourists -- especially those who might have disposable income to share. I would highly recommend visiting the northern regions for these reasons. If you are considering going, here are some things that we wish we'd known before we'd left:1. Exchanging money is not quite as easy or straightforward in Ghana as it is in the US or Europe; make sure you have recent bills, as we found that the exchange rate would change based upon how long ago our bills had been printed -- sometimes by more than 25%.2. Tipping (or "dash") is an entire cultural point; in this, your guide(s) may not be as helpful as you might like in providing feedback. In general I would suggest that you ask your guide directly if they will be providing tips at the locations you visit. You may still want to add your own supplemental tip in addition, but it's good information to have regardless. Tips for your local guides (at specific attractions) are separate from those for your tour guides and drivers.3. Food takes a long time to prepare at restaurants. We generally found the food to be absolutely wonderful, but we were often waiting a half-hour or more for it to arrive. Don't wait until you're starving to eat.4. Mosquitos are a huge concern. One of the "resorts" we stayed at did not have mosquito nets over the beds (just cans of bug spray), and the door had large gaps and holes (directly to outside); needless to say, our entire family was covered in bites the entire time we were there. Make sure you have adequate protection against bug borne diseases, as you may not always have nets.

Impressive communication and some good information on their web site! I took the half day coffin workshop tour and really enjoyed it. Both my driver (Mohammed) and my guide (Ebenezer) were great to be with-friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend Easy Track!

Coffin Workshop Tour
I took the half day coffin workshop tour on my first day in Ghana. I really appreciated the pickup and drop off at my hotel. My driver Mohammed was friendly with me and careful in his driving. My guide Ebenezer was knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour and carver were fascinating and I had a great time! I also enjoyed (and was surprised at) all the information available on their website on such topics as tipping, communicating with locals, bargaining and handling uncomfortable situations. Great company! I only wish I found them sooner in my trip planning process!!!
