They need to be shut down and every ACTUAL member given a refund. I got conned into a 6 month subscription and no way to cancel future payments. I'm on the hook for 116 bucks a month for 5 more months. The worst dating site experience I've ever had!!!

Eharmony chose to charge for at least one, possibly 2 years on autorenewal even though I had not used the site at all during those times and had discontinued my only agreed upon payment method. Now they continue to send me aggressive emails threatening collection action on this "bill". Weak and predatory actions of a company failing badly. Very sad.

My experience was not good with EHarmony. I discovered quite a few Fake profiles, like over at least 10 profiles before I decided to finally throw in the towel with them. Some of the profiles were obviously written by the same writer because there was a pattern that I saw, there was always a space before a period and a space before a comma which is not how anything is written in our English language here. It was truly a waste of time and an exorbitant amount of money. Many of the profiles that were presented to me did not have a picture nor much of a write up. The site had some functionality issues, like when I went to report a profile the button wouldn’t work, I reported this several times and they never did fix it. When I was reviewing profiles and opened one, the app would take me all the way back to the beginning and I would have to start all over again, I also reported this several times and they never did fix that either. If they were a legitimate site with a legitimate product they wouldn’t need to continue to charge you as a dissatisfied customer. They totally misrepresented who they are and what their product is. There is no such thing as a phone number with them and you can’t talk to anyone. I was on this site about 10 years ago and I had a different experience. I don’t think the site is what it used to be nor what they sell it to be. I canceled a 12 month membership after only six months because I never met anyone and it was a total waste of time. I thought I was talking to one person and I noticed they never answered my questions and then they asked for my phone number and I suggested why not give me your phone number initially and they blocked me. I would never join again.

EHarmony now for about 4 months. EHarmony does NOT vet people at all. A lot of scammers get through. First couple of texts, they want to go directly to WhatsApp or some other site. You can also tell by the lack of NOT answering questions. They answer questions with another question. THIS IS THE BEST SITE TO FIND SCAMMERS. I CAN'T STATE THIS ENOUGH. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Some, at the point of and during the initial texting part...bam, all of a sudden, they are gone with a note about EHarmony blocking them. Terrible site and expensive with no way of refunding. You can start there and if you are lucky enough (LOL) to meet someone and want to cancel early on...You send a message that you met someone from their site (again, LOL), you're stuck with the $500 + bar tab with a polite message of screw you, we got your money. I tried to join today. When I filled out the form, I agreed to 11.00 a month. They tried to charge me 280.00. Lucky for me my bank stopped payment. I wouldn't join for a dollar a month now! Crooks! Terrible company, terrible!
